In my endless search for a sunless tanner to use on my face, I tried this product. I am very pleased with the results because it is a) oil-free, b) produces subtle, natural color, c) virtually fragrance-free, and d) contains a high SPF. I've tried so many of the "glow" and have not been able to find anything that doesn't cause breakouts or isn't heavily fragranced. I am also a redhead with a fair/medium complexion, so it is hard to find just the right product with the right amount of color to compliment my coloring. This one wins for me!

I've tried several products on the mineral make-up bandwagon, and Maybelline's version is the only drugstore brand that comes close to the original, Bare Minerals. I thought Physician's Formula was the best at this price range, but I stand corrected! Mineral Power actually stayed on my combination skin on a humid summer day for more than an hour without completely disappearing- and I took a risk because I grabbed this at Target before a job interview! There is also a wide variety of shades to choose from, and for someone who boarders on fair to medium skintone, that is a very big plus! I've been impressed with Maybelline's new products and it's obvious that they are no longer just about the mascara!

Neutrogena Healthy Defense Daily Moisturizer With Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 30
Great GP daily moisturizer!
I tried this moisturizer when I ran out of Neutrogena Oil Free Moisture SPF 15- my usual daily moisturizer. I like this product much better because of the light-weight consistency, and it does not produce as much shine on my oily spots as the Oil-Free Moisture. My only "issue" with this product is that it does not appear to be oil-free, but the fact that it's fragrance free is what sold me on the product. It is not too heavy for my skin, and I have combination/oily skin that is also very sensitive. No break outs thus far...I highly recommend this product

I love this product because it adds volume and hold without weighing my hair down as many other body and volume building products do. My hair is fine, but it is also thick and straight and this does a better job than many of the more expensive products I've tried. It adds texture, too, without the build-up. It's great for short, layered hair.

I tried this product and I found it a little too heavy for my hair. If you have hair that is fine as I do, the other texturize products work much better. And a little does go a long way!

This product REALLY does dispense lke a can of Redi-whip, but it performs like a leave-in conditioner in mousse form. I have straight, short, layered hair so I did not use the product to create waves or curls. A little goes a long way, as this is heavy, emollient rich stuff. It tames flyaways and frizzies, and works well as a conditioner and light styling creme. I also found that it worked wonderfully as a shaving cream for my legs when I discovered I was out of shaving gel!

This product has the pliability of Redken's Rewind, and promotes the texture of a styling mud or putty, but with stronger holding power- without the "crunch" of maxium hold gels. It's pefect for my hair type, which is finely textured, straight, and thick. So many other maximum hold products I've tried are either too heavy, or too drying. For shorter, layered hair this product gives a modern, edgy look without going too extreme, and the fragrance is refreshingly pleasant and clean.

This fragrance is heavy on the rose scent. Parisienne is an appropriate name for this very heady, strong floral scent with hints of rosewater. It is what similar to I would imagine Parisienne women wore in the late 19th or early 20th century. It is very feminine, very sensual, and very complex. I am not a fan of rose-based scents, so this fragrance did not work at all for me. Give me Chanel any day!

I was skeptical when I saw the odd bulb-like round brush, but I found this mascara brush was actually easier to use than the other comb-like brush offered in Loreal's Telescopic line of mascaras. It really is easier to coat each individual lash with round brush from every angle, and there were absolutely no clumps- unlike the comb-variety. The formula went on smoothly, lasted all day, and did not smudge, even in humid hot weather. This is more of a defining and lengthening mascara, so the effect is natural, pretty and polished- not va-va-voom glam.

I have religiously used Loreal haircolor for years, and most recently, Feria in Copper Shimmer. Unfortunately, it is a shade that is often out of stock, so I tried Garnier 100% Color in Bright Auburn Blonde as an alternate. The gel cream formula was very easy to apply, there was no strong fragrance, and it was not drying at all. The shade is perfect- with a little more gold in it than the comparable Loreal shade. It's been two weeks since I colored, and the color is still vibrant and shiny- with almost no fading at all. And the best part is that Garnier is a lot cheaper than Feria, and that makes a big difference since I touch up my color every three weeks. Farewell, Feria!
