I've used all of the Venus razors since their introduction nearly a decade ago, and the line keeps getting better. That fifth blade helps give a noticeably closer shave. I haven't gotten any razor burn or weird nicks. The main downside of this razor, IMO, is that the cartridges are rather expensive (aprox. $14 for 4).

My first thought upon smelling this was "old lady" and even after several hours, it still makes me think of an older woman. The rose and other floral notes are quite dominant (as opposed to the vinyl accord), and now days rose-dominated scents are rather old-fashioned. It's not bad; but if you want a floral perfume there are far more interesting ones on the market.

Q-tips have no rivals when it comes to cotton swabs because they alway have the most cotton. The new vanity pack packaging is great. No one uses up 500 Q-tips at a time, so with the regular packaging, there's always the question of how to store the clean Q-tips so they won't fall out of the box and get dirty. With the new vanity packs, the swabs are in a drawer. They stay clean and you don't have to worry about them falling out. A great improvement.

On the plus side: nice shimmer (noticeable, but not over the top), very moisturizing, inexpensive compared to other shimmery lip products. On the minus side: no SPF, more expensive than other drugstore lip balms, color of chapstick scent/flavor (indicated by color of packaging) is sometimes deposited on lips. Watch out for the Peppermint Rush flavor -- it stings. My favorite was Botanical Berry.

On the plus side: extremely glossy, not sticky, nice texture. On the minus side: overly sweet vanilla frosting scent, extremely sheer colors (so it doesn't matter if you wear one or two colors at the same time), silly packaging that is hard to use, way too expensive ($13 for a drugstore gloss!).

I wear a lot of nail polish and as a result of using so much polish remover, my nails get very dry and flaky. Since I've started using 2 coats of this as a base coat, the flaking has completely stopped. It is super smooth and rather thick, but dries very quickly. It actually dries just as fast as my regular OPI basecoat and doesn't seem to affect any polish painted on top of it, either in terms of streaks, drying time, etc. I have noticed more shrinkage at the very tips of my nails after three or four days than with my regular base coat. But shrinkage is so minor -- especially compared to splitting nails -- that for me it's a non-issue.

I think this lipstick is great value for the money. It's closer to a MAC lipstick than many other more expensive brands. It's highly pigmented, contains shea butter (so it's moisturizing) and lasts very well. It goes on very smoothly and feels creamy. I'm impressed!

I've been using this mascara for a month and absolutely love it, so I'm very surprised by all of the negative reviews here! My experience has been: no flaking or smudging at all, little to average amount of clumping, and very long, soft lashes that look super dense and dark. I'll definitely be buying this again.

This is an extremely moisturizing lip balm. If I get chapped lips, I apply this before going to bed, and within 48 hours my lips are pretty much healed. It also contains SPF and vitamin E, which makes it ideal for daily use. My one complaint is that the packaging is excessively puffy, so you can't really carry it in your pocket. I've never tried it on my eyes -- it was also designed to function as a portable eye cream. But since eye and lip skin is similar (very thin and sensitive), I imagine it would work well.

Many dermatologists recommending using products with an SPF factor of 30 or higher. This only has an SPF factor of 15 -- better than nothing, I suppose. Other than that, I quite like this product. It has moisturizing properties (so probably not good for oily skin), and it works really well under makeup. (I didn't think it would, since the product feels like it sits on the skin, but I was wrong.) This could be a really fantastic product if Bioelements would just increase the SPF factor.
