I was expecting this lip liner to be a bit dry and harsh, but it was soft and it did not over dry my lips. It worked well with my long wear lipstick and lip primer. A great addition to my beauty routine!

Paula's Choice Skin Balancing Super Antioxidant Concentrate Serum With Retinol
Good for the eye area
I found this to be a very good eye moisturizer- though the formula wasn't so good for the rest of the face. I think Paula is so anti-eye-moisturizer that she just doesn't want to come out and say that this is an eye moisturizer ;) But really- that's what it is and it's a great one!

Great for the summer, this facial moisturizer has enough SPF for even the most avid outdoor enthusiast! I normally don't pile on the sunscreen in the winter. But when it warms up, I get outside a lot more. And that is when I use this product the most. Great for every day if your skin is normal to dry.

This is one of the few mineral foundation products that can truly claim SPF 20. This formulation does the trick giving full coverage and sun protection! The only draw back on this powder (so some women) would be that it has a dry and matte look to it. But this could also be a plus for someone with oily/combination skin or a good summer foundation to keep things fresh! Overall I though that this powder out-did L'Oreal's mineral foundation- even though I've been using it as my primary brand. Neutrogena may be getting my money from now on though with this product.

I tried these oil-absorbing sheets the other day and was surprised at how much oil I had on my face! The sheet was clear by the time I got done with it. It picked up more oil than I thought I had! This is a great product. Not as cost efficient than Paula's Choice oil-absorbing sheets, but they are available everywhere- and without shipping which makes up for its initial price tag. I was very impressed by this product!

I use this once every couple of weeks. It's great at restoring moisture to the hair. It is too moisturizing for everyday use for me. I have fine, straight hair. Another thing I do, for extra healthy- hair shine, is add a silicone based shine serum. Right now I use John Frieda's brunette shine cream. The combo makes my hair super soft and shiny!

John Frieda Luxurious Volume Forever Full Hairspray
Lightweight and breathable- yet it holds like a dream!
I've grown to love John Freida's Luxurious Volume line. The All Out Hold Hairspray is no different. I love the fine mist that goes on very light. It holds, but is also soft to the touch on my hair and is never sticky. If it's one thing I hate about hairspray sometimes is the whole helmet head thing and stickiness. Neither of these is ever an issue with this hairspray. I've had more luck with aerosols over-all, but this one has a little extra refinement in the form of shine and natural, healthy feeling texture that I've really been appreciating! I think it's a perfect buy for a girl with soft thin hair who wants to amp up the volume without looking fake! And just a side-note about aerosols and the environment. Aerosol hairsprays no longer contain the chemical that was shown to harm ozone. The spray cans themselves are over-all better for the environment and help to prevent product break-down. The cans are usually made from recycled material and can also be recycled after use!

Olay Regenerist Regenerating Serum
Why did I not review this one already?? This is a great product, but please use it only as it applies to YOUR skin!
This is a great moisturizer, though I do not use it all over my face since I have oily/combo skin. But this is PERFECT as an eye cream. I know Olay Regenerist already has the Regenerating Eye Serum, but the Daily Regenerating Serum's ingredients are identical. Not only do you get more, you end up paying less buying the Daily Serum over the Regenerating Eye cream. For all the women who found this product to be irritating, there is indeed a fragrance free version of this cream- works just as good with less potential for irritation. I also do not recommend this product for all-over use on oily or acne prone skin. One of the reviewers mentioned using this serum as a make-up primer. She's got the right idea. If your skin doesn't like primers, it probably won't like this serum over the entire face- perhaps just the eye area. I have also used this product as a calming moisturizing treatment after chemical peels- works like a charm to restore moisture and helps and to prevent further irritation. Olay Regenerist Daily Regenerating Serum is an all-around great product. It is versatile and affordable!

I am a mineral foundation snob, and for good reason. I have very sensitive skin that is also oily and acne prone. I totally swore off all foundations back in the early 2000's for these reasons and I have not regretted it one single bit, and I am still very content with my many mineral powders and brushes. That being said... I liked this foundation... a lot! Perhaps my skin has changed or this liquid foundation is just that good. But I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for more coverage than what their mineral make-up products provide alone. First, it goes on smooth like a light moisturizer, yet it is thick enough that you can get a pretty good coverage going. Then, if you set it right, it finishes with a slight dewy glow. I am still a mineral make-up princess so I set my Dream Mousse with Neutrogena's Mineral Sheers loose powder and L'Oreal's Bare Naturale Soft-Focus Mineral Finish. The tip here is to use a finishing powder with a little sheen to it and to also use good brushes. The Maybelline Dream Mousse liquid foundation needs a bit of help like this to get it to the 10 rating so I am giving it a solid 8. This coming from someone who hates liquid foundation should say something right?

I bought this primarily for a moisturizing lip base. I've been liking the moist lipsticks lately and this product is a great companion to the creamy, buttery lipsticks I've been wearing. Does great as a gloss as well. I don't think I've seen any plumping with this product, but my lips look very healthy and I haven't had as much trouble with dryness. I believe it's because of the key ingredients in this product that increase moisture and protect against moisture loss. Really, in essence, Sally Hansen's Full & Radiant Lip Definer is has the feel of a really good balm, but the shine of a gloss. This is a great treat for my lips and a great addition to my beauty routine!
