Olay Complete All Day Moisturizer with Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15 - Normal
Great for all seasons
I love this moisturizer. I have always worn SPF, and throughout my teens and 20s I needed an oil-free product. But in the past couple of years (I'm now 30), I've had a need for a little extra moisture but still needed something very gentle that wouldn't clog my pores. This has fit the bill perfectly through many sweaty summers and flaky winters, and all I have to do is adjust the amount I use when the weather changes, rather than switiching to a heavier or lighter product. It soaks right in and takes my powder foundation smoothly. Yay!

This is probably the only Neutrogena product of which I am not a fan. The cooling sensation was nice, but the applicator dispenses a little too much at a time - it's difficult to control the amount. It seemed to remain moist on my skin all day and would creep into my fine undereye creases, not to mention occasionally smudging my mascara. I had to check under my eyes all day and wipe away excess. It also did not provide enough coverage for dark circles. Neutrogena's 3-in-1 Concealer is what I use now.

This is my favorite moisturizer to use after shaving my legs. My skin feels perfectly smooth, with no greasy residue, until my next shower. The scent is soft and kinda sexy, too. The most effective way to apply it is after a shower, on damp skin. I love to find a big bottle on sale - it lasts for months. I just feel so sleek when I use this!

This provides the perfect type of coverage that my slightly ruddy skin needs. It doesn't do a great job of hiding darker spots or blemishes, but is perfect to even out the skin tone. I can use it only on the areas where I need it, and the texture is sheer enought to blend in with the rest of my face. I don't like wearing foundation, so this is the perfect solution for occasions when I need more coverage.

I picked this up on a whim while looking for something light for the summer, containing suncreen and sheer enough to apply without a mirror. The Sparkling Nude shade turned out to be just the thing. I love the subtle cooling sensation, which is great on hot days. The feel on the lips is smooth, lightweight and not at all sticky. The skinny case is nice and portable, too.

This toner has no cloying fragrance (at least none that I can detect), and feels as gentle as water when I apply it. There's absolutely no sting, even after exfoliating. It leaves a nice, neutral feeling on the skin to prep for your moisturizer/suncreen. It also makes a nice refresher on days when you've gone without makeup. I'll probably keep a bottle in the fridge for hot days this summer.

Okay, I think I am just about the ONLY person in the beauty world who doesn't worship Maybelline Great Lash (sorry, y'all, but it always clumps and flakes out on me!). I decided to try Lash Exact when everyone started coming out with those cool, flexible molded silicone brushes. Normally I have to go over my lashes with a clean brush or comb to separate my lashes, but with this mascara I very rarely need the extra step, which saves time, people! When it does get the slightest bit clumpy I know it's time for a new tube. Love it.

I came across this shampoo and conditioner combo at the drugstore when stocking up my gym locker. I have long hair that really needs moisture in the dry winter months (which is most of the year in NYC), but shy away from heavily moisutrizing products because my scalp is easily irritated by buildup, plus my straight hair texture is prone to oiliness at the scalp. This is the perfect solution for me. It has the rich, creamy texture of the other Triple Moisture products, but has a gentle exfoliant that soothes my scalp. And I don't have to worry about getting it on my roots in the shower (that "apply only to ends" thing for long-haired gals can be a pain sometimes). Anyway, I love it, and I grab it off the shelves to hoard for winter!

I find this to be very soothing after extremely windy/icy days in the city, or after using a heavy scrub or mask. It doesn't affect the redness all that much, but doesn't sting at all when applied, and leaves kind of a velvety texture. Another product from this line actually broke me out, so I use this sparingly when needed.
