This stuff is REALLY fantastic IF you dig glitter : ) I can't see why anyone would buy it if they didn't, but I've read some pretty funny "oh my God there is just TOO much sparkle in this" reviews of various products that have glitter in them. This always makes me beg the question-uh, what did you think something with glitter in it would look like?! anyways, so this delivers on both being cheap AND being super sparkly. Did I mention that it also lasts forever? My toenails have had the silver-y version on them for almost a month with nary a chip...honestly though, I think it's just that glitter polish in general chips less since glitter is harder to get off your nails! (plain old acetone works best, btw) So, if you are looking for intense, long-lasting, and cheap sparkly polish-look no further : ) PS The 9 is because I know they are now making polishes that don't have as many nasty chemicals and feel there is no reason for ALL polishes to follow suit!

So while I agree that buttercreams are a fantastic alternative to soap or shower gel; I have to say my favorite is the Ring of Roses one. It has the most amazing smell-not that old lady musty rose you usually get...just like smelling a fresh rose at the flower shop. I also love how soft the buttercreams feel on skin. They can be a bit slippery to hold so careful not to drop them if you're showering as they can also make the tub floor a bit slick. A good Lush paring with this is the Charity Pot hand/body lotion which also has a subtle rose scent...lovely!

While all of the Lush massage bars rock, I am esp in love with ShimmyShimmy for the glitter...if you don't like glitter than STAY AWAY from that one and try one of the others. Those who like perfumes like Aqualina's Pink Sugar will like bars like Soft Coeur. There are also several that are more on the fruity or spicy side. yes, I agree they are pricey BUT they do last a while and do wonders to make your skin soft. I love them for giving my husband a massage (and then taking my turn after!) You may also want to buy a tin from Lush to store them in as they can melt in high heat and attract dust. Go out and try one today : )

I would normally not spend $20 on hand (and body) lotion, but was so entranced by the smell I just had to! I have several Lush products as well as some bath salts that have a strong rose smell and have been searching for a lotion that also smells like roses but not in a grandma kinda way : ) This lotion is just that-the smell of roses but not old and musty-more like a wet garden. It's also great that is supports charity and works really well. Try keeping it in the fridge and using it after a hot bath-esp nice in the Summer-time! my only caveat is that it IS a bit pricey...

Caveat! If you don't LIKE sparkle/glitter; than stop right here and look at another review! Most people have a love it or hate it approach to glitter and I fall into the former camp, most possibly because I am a performer and actually use it for stage. This stuff is great because it's easy to apply and actually shows the glitter-not just some clear gel with one speck every so often. It also dries fairly quickly so the smudge factor is less (believe me, it's harder to clean up glitter smudge than powder! glitter gets EVERYwhere and just...sticks) So if you're going out and are young enough to be ok with sparkles...buy this!!

Shimmer, lovely shimmer!
This stuff is just great : ) I adore shimmer and this blends into your skin leaving the perfect 'wash' of sparkle for any special occasion. The puff is cute, but is the only reason I had to give it 9 instead of 10 stars...the feathers eventually shed a bit and it's not the most controlled way to apply powdery shimmer. But in every other way (including the lovely subtle scent) it's fantastic!

Why use plain old hair spray or sticky gels when you can use this combo of both that is neither plain or sticky? It has just enough hold to keep a style set and prevent wisp-ies, but isn't nasty-sticky or anything. The smell is just lovely and the amount of shimmer/glitter is just right. I will be so sad when they stop making this...have to stop myself from "stocking up" at Target!

This stuff is SO fantastic that I bought several backups on the off chance they stop making it!! I NEVER do that but this time it was worth it! Very rarely would I feel like just using one color is enough to get the right effect, but these colors are SO intense and gorgeous that one at a time is plenty. Also, they are incredibly easy to apply-go on easily and the applicators are very precise. My only warning is that you need to open the bottles carefully as the powder can go everywhere and the pigment can stain things. Also, be careful not to get it on your cheeks etc for the same reason. totally beautiful and I can only hope they keep making it forever (and in more colors and bigger tubes!)

This is GREAT stuff IF you are looking to have major eye glitter! The best part is it stays put really well unlike trying to use loose glitter/shimmery powder that tends to get on your cheeks or eyelashes. The colors are very vivid and lend well to being layered over a complementary shadow. The more you add; the more intense the glitter is so you can just do one 'layer' if you want more subtlety. While most people would only use this at Halloween; those of us who are in the glitter fan club can have fun with this all the time : )

This is one of those glorious rare products that is not only cheap but REALLY works. It has such great shine and isn't sticky at all. Also, the colors layer over lipstick really well. It's also got just a little bit shimmer which is nice. Lastly, gotta love the "hook-up" option so the little tubes don't get lost in your purse.
