The only reason it's not 10 stars is it's SO expensive! But this is worth the splurge I think : ) The smell is just lovely without being "old lady" cloying and it really feels like you're spreading fresh rose petals on your face! It's more like a gel and went on feeling very soothing, as if I was spreading aloe on my face. Not only did my skin feel clean; it wasn't harsh...meaning, clean but still soft like I had only used water and then a delicate moisturizer. Go and try it (or get your bf/husband to get it for you as a treat!)

Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Brilliantine Shine Glossing Spray
Curly hair will LOVE the shiny perfection of this stuff : )
Once again, Garnier Fructis comes through in a BIG way for curly hair folks! The funny thing being it's not really being marketed towards curly hair, but this and the little bottle of sleek & shine stuff are my go-to products to handle frizz and make my crazy curls look sleek, shiny, and soft (quite a feat with curly hair that tends to want to turn into a dry afro when left to it's own devices!) But work they do...I use the other one to control flyaways and frizz, but this one I spray on daily and go through bottles like they are going out of style! I spray this on my hair no matter what I'm trying to do with it...I probably am more liberal than the other reviewers as it would take a miracle to get my hair to look greasy, but I can say this stuff really does make my hair shiny : ) I swear it also helps on the flyaway/frizz front too. And, like the other stuff, it has that great fruity smell that even my husband notices and likes! So, go stock up! I think anyone could use this one (the other one might be too much for greasier hair but this one seems lighter somehow). hope they never stop making it!!

L'Oreal Paris HiP Studio Secrets Professional Shocking Shadow Pigments
AWESOME colors and not crazy expensive!!
I first started trying loose shimmer-ish powders with the uber cheap stuff from good ole Claire's at the mall and was totally taken with how much easier it was to blend and apply loose powder than using the pressed stuff. For some reason; loose powders just go on easier and have more pigment. But usually still not enough for my tastes (I perform a lot and go to goth nightclubs etc so need my stuff to NOT look bland!!) I agree that Mac and a few others make some awesome things, but man are they expensive! This is a total God-send being close to Mac quality, but about half the price. Mac is still slightly more vibrant and of course has more color choices, but this stuff is so close that it just wouldn't make sense not to stock up! So esp w/Halloween around the corner-run, don't walk to your local Target and go nuts : )

Yup, you read that right - a liquid eyeliner that is not a headache to apply! Why? Well, normally you get a super-skinny mini "paintbrush" type thing to try and "paint" a line under your eyes. yikes. You need to have a VERY steady hand and some art skills to pull That off. But this one is more like an unusually thin marker...it still has the properties of a liquid, but is SO much easier as you are in effect just "drawing" a line. It also works to do it in litle 'dashes' that you connect up. However, it loses one star based on the fact that it IS still a liquid and subject to the hassle of being a pain to get off if you smudge it. Also, you have to be careful not to put too much on at once as it can also drip down. But so long as your careful this stuff is amazing and finally makes it possible to have that cool "wet" liquid look minus the headache. btw, love the colors too as they have this metallic sheen that verges on shimmer. nice.

I am a makeup fanatic and use all manner of products on my skin etc. But I got a sample of this and fell in love. This has got to be like the best kept beauty secret out there! No one seems to know about it and yet I've never had a face wash that is as gentle yet works so well as this one. I have combination skin and am in my 20s with the occasional breakout and yet somehow this manages to make the oily areas feel clean, the drier areas not too dry, and overall my face just looks great and feels soft. I'll be sad when 'they' figure out how great this is and jack up the price (sigh)

Right off the bat, there are two camps on Aquolina's Pink Sugar perfume...you either love it to death or seriously hate it. Obviously, I am in the former camp : ) It has got to be the sweetest smelling perfume out there - the main note is basically carnival sugar but a feminine "version" of that if I make any sense. (meaning, there are like caramel/brulee type scents out there but this is less a sweet candy smell then something girly - sweet) ANYhow, you may ask why a separate spray for hair? Well, normal perfume can dry hair out so this is made special to work with hair. It is also made to "keep" the smell going whereas normal perfume would wear off in hair after a time. If you totally dig this - be sure to check out the rest of the great stuff they have made...I know of shower gel, body lotion, body scrub, body jelly, powder, and mini bath bombs. mmmm, sugar!

I have always been a fan of giving (and receiving!!) sampler kits like this one as you are bound to like something in it. Also, it gives you a chance to try products you might not normally take a risk buying. Burt's Bees is wonderful as the ingredients are so good for you and they often work well for people that normally have allergy troubles with makeup and other skin products. Anyhow, it's also just fun to play with new things and the small size means you can take them anywhere! Lastly, it's a cheap way to get a bunch of high quality stocking stuffers or party favors for teens or young women that are sure to be a hit. Check out their other kits too-lots of neat options out there : )

Use this cream from your neck down to your toes...you'll want to as it smells SO good!! Not to mention how it leaves your skin extra-soft. In the Summer I keep my lotions in the fridge so it goes on nice and cool. In the Winter warm it first in your hands before applying. I also love the shower scrub and using both together leave a lovely subtle smell behind. wondeful!

Bath & Body Works White Barn Classic Oil Warmer
Gorgeous oil burner is like an objet d'art AND smells decadent (great word, huh?) : )
So this is worth getting just 'cause it's - well- cool!! I think it looks pretty just as a piece of "art" on your table et al. But it has a better use of course, that of making the whole home smell amazingly good! Bath & Body Works has a huge variety of high-quality oils to choose from (though of course you can use any essential oil) that retain their scent for at least a year or two and are strong enough to truly scent your space. All you have to add is a tea light or votive candle. This also gets major points for being glass as it's so much easier to clean after use. One more note...check out Bath & Body Works seasonally as well since they often carry oils specific to the current holiday.

Ok, yeah I agree this has the potential to be messy and the line that goes on is not subtle (read skinny) BUT it does work great if you are a Goth and are looking for something to give that bruised eye/heroin chic thing. This really only works in high-drama situations because it does go on thick. The applicator is like a tapered shadow wand and I actually like it. So maybe I'm nuts, but I totally dig the whole goth-y thing. But there is NO WAY on God's earth you are going to get a thin line out of this-they call it bedroom eyes for a reason I guess! It is very neat though if you are going for kohl/smudgy and any powder that gets on your cheeks is pretty easily wiped off with a wet cloth. So long as you are going for a certain look; this product is golden : )
