I'm the type of person who can't live without eyeliner, and I had problems finding an eyeliner I really liked. Some pencils (the kind you sharpen) were a pain to apply, and others were a color that was too harsh. This eyeliner stays put (it won't even run when you cry) and really does a great job of defining your eyes. It goes on smoothly and easily and is the perfect shade of black (not too dark, not too sheer). I highly recommend this pencil to people for whom eyeliner is a make-up essential!

doesn't stay on forever, but lasts longer than most other liners its price. sometimes application can get tricky because the brush tends to flick a lot, but the line is dark and very precise.

This makes your hair feel soft and clean. You don't feel like you're putting goop into your hair...it actually works! It's one of the best conditioners out there, in my opinion.

I'd heard this liner stays on for a long time, but when I tried it, it wore off after a few hours. It's also kind of sheer, so if you're looking for a liner that will give you a solid, dark line, this one won't completely do the trick. The Sharpie-like brush makes it really easy to apply, which is handy, but other than that, I was a bit disappointed with this liner.

Almay Oil Free Gentle Eye Makeup Remover Pads
The oil-free pads are amazing. The moisturizing, not so great
Be sure to get the "oil-free" pads: the moisturizing kind leave your eyes feeling very oily (it's almost "slippery"), even after you rinse your eyes with water. But these pads in general do an AMAZING job of removing mascara and liner--both liquid and pencil. One swipe will usually get rid of most of the make-up, and it leaves no smudges or proof that you were ever even wearing make-up.

This nail polish is a couple dollars more expensive than your average drugstore polish, so when I bought it (in purple) I was expecting something more vibrant and longer-lasting than usual. I was somewhat disappointed with how sheer the color was and how quickly the polish started fading and chipping. The formula can also get kind of goopy (when you apply it, it runs easily and slips to the edge of your nails). The color is bright and pretty and I get complimented on my nails a lot, but the extra cost isn't really worth it.

This powder leaves a very matte finish and gives your face a pretty glow. However, your choice of color needs to be spot-on--I picked a powder that was a little dark for my skin tone and ended up with a face that looked sunburned. But the redness will go away after an hour or two, leaving your face looking smooth and warm. The application can also get messy: the tub comes with a handy pouf (I use a powder brush for more even application, though), but powder tends to fall out of the tub when you remove or put on the lid. I always have to spend a few minutes wiping up the excess powder.
