I use this cream when I'm done styling my hair - right before using hairspray. It gets rid of fly-aways and smooths the surface for a nice shine without being greasy. It isn't meant as a "heavy-duty" de-frizzer - use Frizz-Ease serum for that! I think it's comparable to Frederic Fekkai's Glossing Cream.

I love this loose powder! It's texture is like "powdered sugar"! It has just a hint of shimmer to a little glow - looks really natural. The coverage is really good considering how light the formulation seems to be. This is the best loose powder I've ever used!

I prefer this brand over Natural Instincts because it lasts longer. But, there aren't enough colors to choose from vs. Natural Instincts. It's also hard to find - I'm wondering if L'oreal has discontinued it? If so, I'll miss this product.

Pros: excellent gray coverage, long-lasting, lots of color choices, I like the pre-color treatments. Cons: VERY strong odor, long processing time, after-color conditioner isn't as good as those from other brands. It's my home color of choice because of how well it covers gray, but could use a little improvement with hair feeling softer & healthier afterward.

Takes some work to apply the mascara so that it builds your lashes without clumping. Not the best volumizing mascara I've tried.

I used this haircolor years ago and didn't like it because my hair felt very dry and damaged afterward. I tried it again recently hoping that the formula had improved, but it didn't. It still dried out my hair. However, the color itself turned out fine and it covered my grays well. I also liked that the smell is pleasant - my eyes didn't water as they do when I've used other brands! If Garnier could improve this formula so that it doesn't leave hair so dry, I'd give it another try.

As good as a salon hairspray
This hairspray is a find! It's cheap, has a strong hold without being sticky or heavy and I don't need to do touch-ups during the day. I prefer it as a finishing spray vs. a styling spray because of the stronger hold factor. Saves me a lot of $ vs. buying the salon brands!

I'm really happy with this product...I noticed a difference in my hair the first time I used it. After blow-drying, my hair was soft & shiny. I normally have to apply a little bit of Fekkai Glossing Cream after I blow-dry because my hair was always rough & brittle. But with this product, I don't have that problem. I mix it with a little bit of straightening balm and that combo works great for my hair.

I read a lot of great reviews about this treatment, but the product didn't do much for my hair. When I applied it, it was so thick and heavy that it was difficult to spread through my hair. I let it sit on my hair for several minutes and then rinsed. Afterward my hair didn't feel any softer or healthier than it does with my daily conditioner. It did smell good and didn't weigh down my hair, but those are the only two positives of this product for me. I expected more from a Redken product.

I normally use baby oil after showering because I'm in a hurry in the morning and don't have time to put lotion on. This gel works better than baby oil because it's thicker and the moisturizing effect lasts longer. I wish it came in a bigger size, although now it's sold in 2-packs, so that helps. It's still a little spendy so I don't use it everyday, but would if you got more of it for your money.
