I like this masque better than the one you get with Pro-Activ, and theirs was the one thing I liked the most from their kit. I started using it when I ran out of the PA one and have never gone back. It dries much quicker and I think its effects last longer. Also works great as a nighttime spot treatment.

There is such a huge difference between this primer and Smashbox's original Photo Finish. The original always felt like it made my oily/combo skin feel worse than before I washed it! This feels much more like a moisturizer than a primer, but it works as well if not better than the best primers out there!

This product did nothing for my dark circles and it won't do anything for puffiness. If you want an illuminating cream, you need something with colour, not glitter.

Nothing beats OPI. I'm always staggered by the big wall of colour that is the OPI section of my store! Chip Skip is simply the best product out there as far as topcoats/protectants. I've actually convinced a couple of manicurist shops to start using it!

If you have acne-prone/oily or combination skin, this can help you. Like a lot of LUSH products it's not for everyone, but it does work well on this particular skin type. Can be a bit drying so get a good moisturiser!

I absolutely adore LUSH products. But I had to learn that not all of their products work well for everyone. So if you're new to LUSH, try not to get carried away! As far as the bath bombs, they are universally indulgent! Just be careful - some of them stain the tub (temporarily) and others have bits of flower or fruit in them.

My hands-down favourite brush for eye applications!! It's the best.

I now live in NC, where the summers get aggressively hot and humid (to say the least). I've used Shaper Plus since I moved here and it does a great job. Wish I'd used it in all those rainy winters in England...:)

I tend to spend quite a bit of money on hair/makeup (as a makeup artist I get to call it "research" :) ), but I was skeptical about dropping $100+ for a CHI iron. Well, along came a sale, and with my employee discount at the store where I work, I only spent about $80, and long story short would have paid the full price now that I know how AMAZINGLY well it works. I am constantly changing this and that about my hair but I can count on my CHI!

I was new to liquid eyeliner when I tried Urban Decay ("honey" is still my sentimental favourite). It didn't take long to get the hang of, the handle is shaped more like a pen. Now I'm comfortable applying other liquid liners.
