CARGO's eyeshadow pans offer a wide variety of colors going from subtle-every-day to life-of-the-party. The formula wears well, remains creaseless, and is easily blendable. Also, you can build color. I highly recommend the color Yukon. It is universally flattering, making brown eyes smolder, green eyes pop, and blue eyes more vibrant.

CARGO's bronzer is a great find and beauty bag staple. CARGO didn't leave us pale girls behind, and their Light shade is believable even on those of us that just don't tan. It applies easily and doesn't change color over the course of the day (or night), isn't too shimmery for day or too matte to blend. This one is a winner!

O-Glow seems to be the Smashbox answer to those "mood lipsticks" of the '80s. You know, the ones that would look yellow or green in the tube that would allegedly turn into your ideal color once you applied it to your lips? And inevitably your "ideal" color would turn out to be electric fuschia or neon orange? Remember the disappointment? Expect no less from this product. Try Smashbox blush in Proof Sheet or Cargo BluRay blush for a better flush.

I tried BareMinerals in the palest color they offer and it still made me look like I had a fake tan. It looked waxy no matter how much I buffed and it seemed to settle into every pore making me look crinkly when I am not! It was really unflattering.

I am a mascara addict, and I have found that Lancome mascaras are either totally awesome, or totally loathsome. This one is in the latter category. The formula flakes and will leave black confetti on the tops of your cheeks by midday. It's hard to apply and doesn't give a lush look at all--go for one of the Definicils varieties if you want performance.

Proof Sheet might look a little loud to the blush afraid, but fear not. It's a subtle pop (unless you are really heavy handed) of color that doesn't change or darken over the course of the day. It looks natural, healthy, and flattering on nearly all skin tones--and looks good year round--it's not a seasonal palette item. I've actually used this up and had to buy new, and that doesn't happen very often for me.
