Another piece to the line that absolutely SHOCKED me at how fantastic it is, is the Finishing Touch Cream. I can tell you that I have tried about a zillion finishing creams, many that hairstylists swear by that won't weigh down fine hair etc. only to use the teensiest dab and about 1/2 an hour later my hair is either oily or flat as can be or both. This cream is fantastic! I have found only one other cream in my zillions I've tried that work on my hair and I just went and re-stocked it a few weeks earlier at $25 for a small jar. I wish I hadn't because this is only $5.49 for a HUGE jar. It doesn't weigh down my hair, enhances the body I have in my fine hair and I can piece up the look as well. LOVE IT!

The shampoo is a nice texture - being thick and creamy and gives a nice lather. It's not super-moisturizing, but not drying either. Just a nice basic shampoo.

The Flexible Hold Hairspray is a pump spray that isn't sticky, and it holds without being so stiff. Seriously. I used this all last week and part of the week before. No irritating my scalp, and the best part - we had horribly hot and humid weather here - which always does a number on my hair. It was 95 degrees and the dewpoint in the mid-70's. Let me tell you, that is tropical! I used this at 6:30 am, did not re-touch my hairspray or any product and when I got home from work 12 hours later, my hair looked just as good as it did in the morning. Not kidding.

Now the mousse is WONDERFUL! I love this mousse - it gives me great volume and body - it really brings out the body in my hair too, adding to that touseled look.

These are SUPER moisturizing - much more so than the original, and have the slightest hint of shimmer - a nice girly touch so no one in the "testosterone home" will steal mine! And the flavors pack a punch. The Peppermint Rush is blue in color, but not on your lips and is my favorite flavor - a powerful peppermint. Tropical is my next favorite with a summery flavor of coconut, Botanical Berry is probably my least favorite as I'm not a big berry/fruity flavored person and Blended Fruit Sherbet smells to me like black cherry. The only downfall of these new ChapSticks is that there is not any SPF.

Now this Color Presso I like! Also part of the HIP collection, this is two little lip gloss tubes in one so you can create several lip looks. Once I figured out how to open the package I really love this. And, I'm not the only one who couldn't figure out how to get this open - my sister had difficulty as well! Pull the bottom off to reveal a slanted top with two small holes - one for each color. You can squeeze both shades out or just one at a time to creat the gloss look you like. It's a creamy, not shimmery, very nice textured gloss. I even used this to top my sister's lipstick when I did her makeup for a wedding this past week. It comes in several duo shades and I would definitely look into buying more of these. It surely fits the Beauty on a Budget scale too at $12.99 for 2 glosses.

The L'Oreal HIP (High Intensity Pigment) line, well overall I think the line is too youthful for those of us over 40. The colors are extremely vibrant and shocking. However, that being said there are a few things in the line worth taking a look at like this Kohl Eyeliner. I've been testing the shades charcoal and gold. The charcoal is a beautiful shade, the gold however just doesn't seem to make sense to me as an eyeliner. It's more of a shadow color than liner color. The brush is built into the package and it is a very stiff brush that rather frightened me to put it near my eye, thinking clumsy me would poke an eye out! I thought that maybe this was a liquid, but when I opened it I realized - oh no, it's a powder, and a powder that flakes all over. Personally, I am not loving this product. If the brush was more soft and manageable and the powder stuck to the brush better instead of flaking all over, it'd be a great product. I just don't have time to deal with the mess to make it look great.

I love this lipstick! It is so very creamy, and the color lasts a long time, and it's moisturizing as well. But besides the fact that you can get this for such a reasonable price, as it's a drugstore brand, it has absolutely no bad taste to it. That is typically my biggest pet peeve about drugstore lipsticks and why I don't wear them, but not with this one.

2000 Calorie Extreme Lash Plumper made my lashes Extremely long! In fact, when I was trying it out I put it on before I went to dinner with my husband. He gave me this look and "eyed" me, if you know what I mean - and I gave him a confused look back (typical me!). I then said "WHAT?" He actually thought I had put on false eyelashes and had gotten all made up for him.

First up the Eye Restoration Complex - I had originally continued to use my eye serum that is not an Olay brand, underneath this product. The results - horrifying! I woke up with red blotches all around my eyes. So once I healed, I thought maybe my serum and the Olay product did not like each other and I thought I should just try the Olay Restoration Complex on its own. Could I be a glutton for punishment? Well, the red blotches did not appear, but after using it for a week, I desperately missed my serum. My eyes felt more dry and wrinkles more prominent using the Olay product alone. Maybe for someone without such sensitive and dry skin this would be a better product
