I tried out this new razor by Gillette called the Venus Embrace. Could 5 blades vs 3 really make a big difference? Absolutely! With just soap and water (I know, I know!) I "lathered" up my legs and tried out the razor. Smooth as silk! Wow - who would have thought that a few extra blades could make that big of a difference. The way the blades are arranged - they take up about the same exact space as the 3 blade version. However, here's my only diss on the razor. I really dislike how huge the surrounding head of the razor blades is. It just seems unnecessarily large. Just look at the comparison - if they could keep the 3 vs 5 blades within the same space, then why did they have to make the surrounding area so large? I guess the goopy moisture strips are larger and create a larger barrier, but it does make it more difficult to get around the bikini area with the larger head. I definitely like this razor better, but if I were to rate it 1-10, I'd give it a 7 and a half just because of the large head, instead of the 10 it deserves.

I tried this for the first time recently, as I at times are hesitant to use tinted moisturizers. I tend to be somewhat oily and I have this impression that tinted moisturizers will only make it worse. This, however, does go on sheer and light and doesn't not leave a oily film on my face. If you are looking for the lightest coverage ever, this is the way to go, if you want more coverage, I'd look elsewhere.

I was very surprised at how well this actually works! I don't get any skin irritations on my sensitive skin and I feel like my lines around the eyes are less noticeable. I would recommend this.

Although it feels like a great product, this didn't give my hair, which is fine texure, enough oomph. It left it flat, but silky feeling.

At first this scent is very sweet - too sweet for my liking, but after about 20 minutes the woodsiness of the fragrance comes through and I then like it much better. Not something I would wear every day, but for special occasions.

once you get used to the brush (it only takes a day to get the groove) it really does get every single lash - even those teeny tiny corner lashes. I didn't get a huge amount of volume, but it definitely enhanced the length and got every single tiny lash. I especially like how it defined my lower lashes. Again there was no clumping or flaking, and it's not drying on my lashes either

Honestly, I was completely shocked! This foundation is so incredibly smooth and silky. I applied it in the morning and when I checked in the mirror at lunch time, it still looked great. When I looked in the mirror when I got home from work 12 hours later, it had mostly worn off like nearly all foundations do. But there was no separation, no blotchiness, just a beautiful medium to medium/full coverage foundation.

They are great square little boxes that open like a drawer to reveal the same trusted and loved Q-Tips. Not those imposter brands that unravel and fuzz out everywhere, but the real deal. Aren't these just adorable prints?!

The spray gel is probably my least favorite in the line. It just didn't work well for my hair type. It felt like it did absolutely nothing, and those of us with fine hair need oomph!

The conditioner however, is very nice and thick and super moisturizing without weighing my super fine hair down. I could also use it daily with my fine hair and I didn't experience any long-term weigh down.
