im very very pale, platinum ash blond with ice blue eyes naturally, and when i started to get some darkening under my eyes not only was it very noticable [i got lots of 'oh, you look tired today' comments...] but im too light for most under eye concealers to blend or cover well. i bought this even tho the picture in the ad was way worse than my situation, with the bruised looking model, and started using it twice a day everyday like the tube said. the very first time i used too much, and it made my eyes, PUFFIER. after that i was less heavy handed, and it seemed to absorb well with no ill effects. it took about 4 monthes of steady use but my under eye area is LIGHTER now THAN THE REST OF MY FACE. ive been using it for a little over a year, and the under eye shadows havent come back....i am a little wary of stopping! i think it does work, it just may take longer than you expect, but you do get a ton of the cream, i think ive only had to buy this 3 times in over a year. oh, one of my girlfriends from the beauty shop is italian [sicilian] heritage and has heriditary darkness under her eyes, [she said her mom and gramma both had it the same] and she tried it, and it didnt do anything for her at all, after 3 monthes she quit using it. i dont kno but maybe that sort of under eye shadowing is normal for her, and not something that can be 'corrected', so if you have that kind it might not work for you either, just letting you kno! <3

these rollers hold your hair UP, alowing for incredible height, you need a good set of clips and it takes some time to learn to do it to your own hair, but once you get it down youll totally love it. the plastic is super sanitary too, and easy to clean.

you kno you have to have a set of hot rollers, and these last forever, heat up fast and set your hair all day. plus theyve been around forever and the product is well made. easy lazy day after hair fix. brush you hair out, section, mist with firm hold spray, roll, pin and have your coffee and let them cool. after 10-20 mintues, unroll, fluff and your bodacious curls stay fab all day, distracting people away from your glazed over sleep deprived stupor. watch the edges, they get hot, i burned myself a little halfcircle once mishandling them!

this iron has such a big barrel, its ideal for the soft glam waves you always see in the hollywood pics. it gets hot enough for me, but not for some of my heavy haired friends, and the heat up time is pretty long so doing a full head takes forever. pretty nice iron tho, for the money.

this iron, while being well made and easy to use, as well as leaving your hair perfectly straight and shiny, is too expensive and the highest heat settings [450'] are too high for almost everyone. most people are better off with a quality medium grade iron, and everyone should ask their stylist to reccomend one for thier hiar type and stying needs. great product, too intense for normal peoples home use.

comb/brush tangles and snarls my hair, all the plates take forever to heat and do not do what theyre supposed to, your hair wont be straight, the deep wave barely shows, and the crinkle and star plates just dont show at all. my gramma gave me this when i was 11 or 12, and i couldnt have used it then anyway, but i still have it, and it still does nothing for me.

kind of hard to use, not as slick as a regular comb, but even following my 400' flat iron the teeth didnt warp on this comb.

you dont get either product [straigtener or curling iron] that works as well as a single use appliance, and i used to sell these in my salon supply job, and the overwhelming response was 'i burn myself with this'. you cant use this well if youre used to a regular iron....its too awkward. not hot, not evenly heated, cheaply constructed, doesnt last.

keep it in your car, like in the glove box. its not something id try and do a whole head of hair with, but on gross humid days, when your bangs get crazy and you cant get home in between work and play, you can touch up your hair and look fresh and fierce in no time. pricy, but youll never use it enough to wear it out.

i got these and the square ones too, and i cant do my eyebrows without them. every pair of tweezermans come perfectly sharpend, aligned and grip every little hair, even the new coming back in ones.
