the teal in this set is especially bold next to black liner smoked out really well. *someone asked me if i had a piece of fuzz in my lashes, but all i heard was 'im staring at your eyes, good job!'

i love single set lashes, and these [and their blueperiod set] give me an extra pop of attention grabbing color option!

use these as outer upper corner enhancers, for night time affairs, people will see big eyes, lush lashes, and every so often your eyes will glint in the light and draw them [him, her, them again,.....] in! As easy as full falsies, dressed up for evening glam!

i bought this before i realised it was probly the worst thing you could use if you wear contacts like i do. i see the concept, but raise them the question of 'why loose fibre?'. The standerd lash base with fiber [lots of manufac's make them, some come as dual ended wands with black on the other side] works like whoa, and doesnt give the option of rampant showers of micro fiber corneal abrasion. I'm giving this a 4, b/c the science is sound, but the medium is useless.

anything for a dollar is a 10. Other than wtf value though, these lashes hold up as well as their 6-10$ cousins. Look nice, oh, i got a stockpile of them too, and they're not all the same from set to set, like all the 'dramatic' sets dont look alike. So i cut a bunch down into half sets, and that looks great and, dude, its a DOLLAR! they came with free glue too, a substantial amount, but i havent tried it, i buy stock in ardells' lash tite. :) BTW, the full sets from e.l.f. are valu-rama for a doller and everyone should get them to learn on, but stay away from their singles, they were uber-cheaply constructed and tended to shed and seperate.

if you wear false strips or outer corner half sets, you have to have this [or different brand same stuff] for perfect wear. You hold the tube upright, get a bead or bubble to appear just beyound the tip of the applicator and slowly drag the band of the falsies across the bead of glue, allowing even line of glue about as thick as the lash band itself. Hold the falsies by the ends, not the band and give the glue 10-20 seconds to dry down to tacky-ness, and there you go, perfect all day. Because i'm always in the falsies i carry this glue in my purse, no matter what you do the corners of the lash band always lifts a bit towards the 8 hour mark, and i just use a toothpick to apply a speck of glue on the loose edge, wait a second with out removing the lashes and then press the loose corner back down. Instantly perfect again!

whats not to love? easy to apply, looks natural but better feels great and stays on until you take it off without harming your own lashes. you need to buy the seperate lash adhesive, and it does take practice to get the hang of applying them but i always told my girls that its like eyeliner, or lipstick or anything else. the first couple of times you poke yourself in the eye, or glue the lashes to your eyebrow, or use too much glue and look like you have an eye STD. BUT, that all said, its well worth the effort and time to learn to apply them well, the effect is unatainable by any other method.

do you remember when hot hot hot pink was SUPER in for lips? i went to all my local [and none to fasion forward] make up stores and couldnt find a thing....i got this color [rose hip] at cvs, i think it was 3$ [!!] and its PERFECT. creamy, feels nice, glides on, lasts acceptably, smells very good, and most importantly was actually BRIGHT HOT PINK, not sheer or muted on the lip. i still wear it and ALWAYS get comments!

its mineral makeup, with all the benefits and ease of use as any of the expensive brands, and pressed to keep in your purse [or just avoid spilling]. great feel, nice coverage, very easy application, dont use the sponge tho, use your own brush. i cant find a color light enough for me, but the blendability of this product made it so even tho i am 3 shades lighter than thier lightest it still looked even, soft and natural...i use it to fake the 'golden goddess' look i just cant seem to achieve any other way.
