everytime i see it i remember being 11 and it was my very first makeup, the 'dr.pepper' one, it smelled just like dr.p, and it was very slightly reddish on your lips with a bit of shine. all my friends used it too, and they all had their faves, cotton candy, bubble gum, strawberry.....so innocent, so fun !<3<3<3<3

like another girl said, i cant use this either. i bought it for the 'porcelain' in the name, and am way disapointed but the thick white chalky consistancy. you cant use this on your face and rub it in, and even on me, [and im soo white] it made me look like a ghost, all chalky powder white. i just dont kno what to do with this, its not very good.

i used to work in a beauty shop and i have this habit of staring at other girls and thier various makeup. one day this girl walked in with the DARKEST lashes, id ever seen. i was like, 'omg, what mascara is that?' and she said, lumene, star effect, which id never heard of, that she got at cvs, and i went and got it asap. well, it is great, it is dark, and i dont kno what, but you really notice it. drama! plus it wears great, not migrating all the time like some, and it washes off completly and easily when you mean to. no flakes either. not alotta length or alot of definition, just alot of glamour.... people ask me what im wearing when i wear this too!! ;)

i got it b/c it said itd make your lashes grow longer and thicker and protect them and soften them, yeah. but its thick, and oily or waxy or something, because all its does is smear all over, all day, and it never comes off! its not waterproof, but it lingers, i had smeary eyes for 2 days after using this, it just kept melting out of my lash roots. id like to think it was deeply conditioning but i just cant use it. maybe if i was 56, itd be great.

none of the 'time freeze line' seems to absorb well on my skin, maybe its too heavy duty for me b/c im under 30, i dont kno. it felt nice going on but then it sortof piled up, and rolled of in little waxy chunks. it made my makeup look patchy too, b/c of the uneven absorbing. i didnt use it long enough to see any results, firming or otherwise, because i cant wear make up with it. cvs took it back tho!

i got this b/c the application of the stick thing seemed really conveniant, like to have in your purse. it does feel very cooling and soothing when your all puffy eyed and hot, and tired...and it did help take down some puffiness under my eyes. it seemed to roll off tho, like it didnt absorb well enough, and it didnt help with the crinkles i get from dryness under my eyes either.

youd think, [i did] that you wouldnt have enough product to cover your face in each tiny little twist open cap, but you do. it spreads like silk over your skin and smells very citrusy and clean. your face feels oh so soft, and your makeup sets on it like its a primer. you get 28, enough for a one cycle treatment, i start the first day of my period twice a year, and i always feel like its a special ritual. [for 2 years now]. i always use a vitC sreum, but these little caps are more intense, and youll really fell and see a big difference in your skin, especially if you have spots, speckles or acne. youll just seem to glow! price seems high, but its actually very fair, when you see how they work, [[ps, you get them from cvs and if you dont like them, the store takes them right back! great no risk return policy!]]

i got a couple of mascaras from lumene now, and this one seems to be best of them for ease of removal, and not smearing. the tube is super cute too, and the blue bristles brush is , idontkno, enchanting. similar in performance to other rubber bristly mascara brushes in that while they do lengthen and give amazing individual seperation to your lashes, looking very long but natural, i dont get the volume and drama i want. no clumps, not smeary on me, easy to remove, slightly more curl than none-curling mascara on my short straight lashes.

i couldnt get the airbrush thing to work for me, so i end up spraying it on my hand and then smoothing it on, but it sets makeup well and lasts longer than makeup alone, and it does fill in pores like youd hope. nice price and good amount of product too, and the spray type dispenser at least makes sure your product stays fresh and uncontaminated, even if i couldnt spray it right on my face!

works fairly well, and you can really see the oil it absorbed show up right on the little sheet, but i find i go through a box so fast, and i need so many to do my face with every touch up. maybe im too greasy for these! i like that they leave nothing behind to irritate your skin too, no fragrance or powder or anything you have to think about. you can use them without a mirror, which is sometimes a plus! keep some in your car, but theyre not the best blotters out there.
