Chanel Exceptionnel De Chanel Intense Volume and Curl Mascara
So amazing I can't stop raving about it!
Ohhh have I found a new mascara that I am completely in love with!! It's Chanel's Exceptionnel De Chanel Intense Volume and Curl mascara. I'll warn you upfront... it's pricey ($28 EEKK!!). But holy cow is this stuff amazing!! It's got this odd brush - it's four sided and one side is a brush, then a comb, then a brush, then a comb. The results this mascara gives me are the most amazing lashes! SUPER long, thick, and I don't think I could get it to clump if I tried to. I've used other mascara's that say they curl your lashes, but I never noticed any type of real curl. With this Chanel mascara, my lashes are so curled up and that makes them look so much longer. It doesn't budge all day and still looks perfect after 8-10 hours. One coat is phenomenal - two coats, it's like I've put on false lashes!!! I was lucky enough to get a sample tube of this, or else I would have never even tried it. $28.00 is not what I would usually consider paying for mascara. But I can't not have this product! Seriously, I used another mascara that I love today instead of the Chanel and my lashes looked so puny. So I guess I'm going to have to shell out $28 for mascara from now on... Shhhh! Don't tell my hubby

I bought this when Mirnesse was offering several of their full size products for free (pay $8.97 s&h) and thought it would be a great way to try this foundation. Well now I'm hooked! It gives a beautiful natural finish - not too matte, but not shimmery at all. Very easy to apply because of the little puff on the container. Not sure if I'm willing to pay over $45 for this foundation though - not sure it's that amazing. But it is a very nice product.

This is the best smelling shower creme ever! It smells exactly like chocolate cake frosting! It's very hydrating to the skin and you get a ton of lather from a very small amount. The smell isn't too sweet and doesn't linger on the skin for very long so it won't interfer with fragrances. All around great shower creme!

This is one of the best brands of makeup brushes out there! The prices are very resonable and the quality is fantastic. The bristles are soft, well packed and there's very little if any shedding. I'm so thrilled I can now buy very high quality makeup tools without spending a fortune. One of the best things that Target carries is this line!

While this eyeshadow may be a little more expensive, it's definately worth it. And you'll use less, so in the long wrong it lasts longer and you really haven't spent much more. The colors are beautiful and they blend easily. Smashbox has done an excellent job of combining three colors that work extremely well together - but that are equally stunning on their own. I have found that some shades are a little darker when you actually apply them than they look in the pan, but again they blend so beautifully that you can't go wrong.

This is one of the worst eyeshadows I've ever tried. The colors are very harsh and don't blend well. I have the "Passion" color and it's this very heavy black/purple shade (think color of a bruise) and not attractive at all. These are not good quality shadows - I'll go back to Cover Girl thank you...

This is a lovely fragrance that's great for day or evening. It's floral, without being too heavy - has a soft quality too it. My husband can't stay away when I wear this and to me that's the real measure of any fragrance - do MEN like it? Live is hard to describe and must be experienced.

This is the most amazing mascara! In one coat it gives you long, lush, curled lashes that stay looking fresh all day long. But if you really want drama add a second coat and it looks like you've gone to all the time and trouble to apply false lashes! It doesn't smudge or flake all day, but when it's time to take it off it's easily removed with any facial cleanser. It's a little more expensive than some mascara ($23) but well worth every penny and more. I'll never go back to anything else!

I got a sample of this in a Gift with Purchase and will be purchasing the full size. It has a unique wand - one side is a traditional mascara wand and the other side is a comb. It gives me these amazing long lashes - like a china doll! No clumping, just long, thick lush lashes! It lasts all day, but is easy to remove with regular facial cleanser. The only complaint I could make is that it takes a little longer to apply than other mascaras for some reason. But I think it's just a matter of getting used to the different applicator. It's completely worth the few extra minutes for the amazing results you get.

I have very thin, short lashes and extremely sparse brows. I started using Double Lash about a year ago. The results are slow coming, but worth the wait! My lashes are much thicker and longer now and I don't seem to loose as many lashes now. I was out to dinner with my husband one night and our waitress said "you have great lashes!". I only had on one coat of mascara and never in my life have I been complimented on my lashes! As far as for brows - I've seen some improvement. I have very sparse brows, including a bald spot in each one. It took many months, but I now how one brow that is filled in from one end to the other (it's still very skinny, but it's there!). The other brow has some new growth too, but not as much. This is a great lash/brow conditioning product. You have to be patient and keep using it. And if you stop using it, your brows and lashes will revert to where they started. It's a commitment product. But at around $15 it's reasonably priced and the bottle lasts for 2-3 months with nightly use.
