While I won't say it's a terrible product-I know there are a ton of people who love it, it just never really did it for me. I've found liquid foundations that work 10 times better at covering my flaws. I found that the Bare Minerals looked quite powdery and really felt uncomfortable to wear on my skin. I also didn't think it held up well throughout the day like alot o people say. I wouldn't spend my money on it again but I'm happy for those who have found it to work so well for them!

I love fix + and always find myself reaching for it! It is a perfect fnisher for makeup, especially if you use powder products! It takes away that powdery look that sometims comes wth mineral or powder foundations. I also love it for applying pigments or lustre formula MAC shadows. I also use it before applying my moisturizer at night and it's very refreshing! It's worth the money for all the uses I have for it!!

This is by far one of the best shadow primers I've used. I've tried so many and this is def. in my top 5. It really helps keep your shadows in placeall day and helps keep them from creasing. I love it and would reccommend it to anyone who is looking for a great eyeshadow primer! The packaging is quite cute and I think UD Primer Potion is well worth the money!

Pretty is a brand new fragrance by Elizabeth Arden launching this month- just in time for Valentine's Day! I'll start by talking about the ad campaign and the fragrance's packaging. Pretty's ads are strikingly beautiful, feminine, and romantic. The ad features a lovely model lounging in an ivory dress surrounded by flowers-when you see it, the word "pretty" definitely comes to mind. The box is pink with a floral design. The gorgeous bottle is inspired by a flower vase, the pink top with a flower imprinted on it gives the impression of a flower in a vase. The perfume itself is clear. Now, let's get to the best part! The scent itself! Pretty is an exceptional blend of Italian mandarin, orange blossom, peach nectar, petalia, star jasmine, pink iris, white peony, fluffy musk, jacaranda wood, and creamy amber. These ingredients create an ultra-feminine and memorable fragrance. Personally I think the creators succeeded in making a fragrance that makes it's wearer feel pretty. I adore wearing it and have received many compliments while I have it on. It's very wearable and doesn't overpower the senses. Pretty is a great daytime or evening fragrance and in my opinion, it'd be an amazing pick to wear on a special date or occasion- like every woman's biggest day- her wedding day! Pretty by Elizabeth Arden is absolutely worth testing out, especially if you're a fan of floral fragrances.

The smart people at Olay have been at it again, coming up with new products to help in the never ending fight in the anti-aging wars. Our newest ally in the fight would be their Olay Professional Pro X. I tried their kit which contains the following: Age Repair Lotion with SPF 30 [1.0 fl oz (30 ml)]. Wrinkle Smoothing Cream [1.0 oz (28 g)]. Eye Restoration Complex [0.3 fl oz (9 ml)]. You can pick this starter kit up for approximately $58.99 - $62.99 in stores such as Wal-Mart, Target etc and you'll get a nice little bang for your buck. I used the products on clean skin, like this. The age repair (which is reported to be good for UV exposure, Skin dryness and Fine lines and wrinkle) lotion goes on clean skin every morning, followed by the Eye Restoration Complex which the company tells us will also help skin's dryness, Crow's feet, dark circles and eye puffiness. The night time Regimen includes the wrinkle Smoothing Cream (good for alleviating skin dryness, fine lines and wrinkles, and uneven skin texture) followed again with the Eye Restoration Complex. Following this routine for about two weeks should show you marked improvement in your skin if you had any of the above mentioned issues, although I would add these products would be a good addition to your beauty routine regardless because of their helpfulness with UV exposure. As for my personal findings, I enjoyed the rich, creamy consistency of each of the products. They all went on smoothly and felt good going on my face. They weren't sticky or goopy, nor did they feel like they sucked in so fast that I felt like a giant sponge creature inhabiting the bathroom. They had a slightly herbal smell which I prefer to the slightly medicinal retinol-type products that claim similar results. I tend to have dryer skin in the cheek/under eye area, and I found that I remained a little dry in that area, so had to add a little moisturizer to that area under my make-up, but that would not deter me from using these products. Anyway, overall, after the trial period, my skin felt very soft and generally, better than it did before I started using the products. I would definitely give them a thumbs up and would recommend them to anyone who might be concerned with smoothing any fine lines or wrinkles that might be starting. The fact that the size products in the starter kit are all 1 oz or under, make them perfect for travel too, a nice perk.

I color my hair fairly regularly and it can take it's toll on my hair. Well, I tried both the EverPure Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner for about two weeks now and fell in love with them. The Shampoo is very rich and lathers amazingly! Alot of times sulfate free shampoos don't provide a nice lather but this one does! The scent is very organic and pretty (Rosemary and Juniper) and it's quite refreshing. Both the shampoo and conditioner have replaced my old shampoo and conditioner. This hair care system is sulfate free and 100% vegan. Nothing harsh or damaging in these products! It left my hair very soft and shiny. I'm officially a fan and am looking forward to scoping out the other products in this line. I would absolutely recommend this product!

I've tried an awful lot of mascaras over the years and L'Oreal Paris Double Extension Beauty Tubes is quite average among them. The mascara did seem to make my lashes slightly longer but nothing very noticeable. This mascara is a two step system, a conditioning base coat and then the actual black mascara. It's easy to apply, nothing fancy or different than any other mascara. I will say that it is tough to remove though- more difficult then other mascaras I've tried. So all in all, the product does lengthen lashes a bit, doesn't smudge or run, I didn't notice much clumping either which is a plus. It is hard to remove and it took several good tries with warm water and makeup remover to get all traces of product off. All in all I'd say it's an "okay" product. It probably works better for some than for others though.
