I've used the regular venus razor for some time before reviewing this new Venus Embrace razor and I'm thoroughly impressed by it. Instead of 3 blades, it has 5 blades and it leaves you completely smooth in just one pass instead of having to use multiple strokes over the same area. I shaved under my arms and both legs, one leg with just warm water and the other with shaving cream. Both legs were smooth and hairless, I had amsolutely no cuts or irritation on either leg. I have sensitive skin so this was a major plus for me! Both of my under arms were free of irritation and the Venus Embrace did a great job of removing the hair their. This razor is very easy to grip and moves smoothly and easily over sometimes difficult areas to shave like near the knee and heel/ankle. Although it is a bit on the pricey side, it's worth the money because it gives a great, smooth, irritation free shave and the little shower pod is also a really nice little touch. I would reccomend this product and rate it a 9 out of 10.

Beautiful, Sexy, Feminine and Elegant. Those are words I would use to describe the fragrance as well. The scent is a beautiful floral with a hint of sweetness. It has notes of cranberry, blackberry, otto rose, peony, violet, patchouli, musk and vanilla. Some of those notes might scare some people but it is really a beautiful blend which is most definitely noticeable without being overkill, if you know what I mean. It's the type of fragrance you can wear for a variety of occasions. I really loved this fragrance and have been wearing it almost everyday and have yet to tire of it. This fragrance feels like a luxury to wear....it feels and smells very "rich". Parisienne has pretty good staying power...I still got compliments at 5PM when I spritzed myself at 8:30 AM that morning. If you love floral fragrances, you'll most likely like this. The bottle is really pretty...it reminds me of an oval cut diamond. It's clear and the fragrance itself is a pinkish-lavender color with a gold cap. Definitely a bottle worth displaying on your vanity or makeup station. I always expect to pay more for my fragrances since cheap perfume is not exactly something women want to use but the prices for Parisienne are pretty reasonable in my opinion.

This has been a pretty anticipated addition to the world of mascaras. I've actually gotten a number of e-mails asking me if I've tried it out and what my thoughts were. Many of you probably recognize the brush....Givenchy Phenonmen Eyes Mascara first came out with the spherical shaped brush. The biggest difference?? The price! L’oreal Telescopic Explosion Mascara: About $10 Givenchy Phenomen Eyes Mascara: $28 I've tried both mascaras and to be totally honest, I wasn't absolutely IN LOVE with either one. I did find L'oreal's formula slightly less clumpy but that was the biggest issue for me. After the first coat, it started to get really clumpy. Even though I combed through my lashes multiple times, It still didn't look as great as I was hoping. It did lengthen my lashes and added some volume. The best part of the mascara is definitely the brush...the spherical brush makes it alot easier to reach every lash and help fan them out. To minimize clumping, try wiping the mascara wand on a tissue to remove excess product. Of course, every product works differently for each individual but I had high expectations for L’oreal Telescopic Explosion Mascara and they weren't quite met. I did like it and think it's a very good mascara especially for the price.

I'm going to let you all in on something....I am just about as pale as you can get. So blindingly white that I've actually had to have foundation custom made to match my skin tone because alot of companies don't make a color light enough for me. I also don't ever tan in the summer, I just burn-even with heavy sun block! So if I want to get a bit darker I am forced to resort to trying various self-tanning products. Many I've tried turn out to be utter disasters so I tend to stray far away from self tanning products all together. Well, I had the opportunity to try out this one and luckily, it wasn't a disaster. The Luminous Sublime Bronze Self- Tanning Lotion did make me a shade or two darker without the dreaded streaking alot of products can give us. Exfoliating in the shower before self-tanning makes a big difference in the overall outcome. The smell wasn't at all offensive like most self-tanners. Instead, this one smells of pineapple and cantaloupe. It also left my skin really soft. As soon as you rub it in, it gives you a hint of bronze color and then as you continue to use it, the color will gradually deepen. I used it every other day for about a week and it looked pretty believable-not orange like alot of tanners. It dries quite quickly and doesn't transfer. Used sparingly and not over done, I think it's a good way to hold on to your Summer tan just a little bit longer!

We all know by now that the Sun can cause major damage to our skin, but we often don't consider the damage it does to our hair. It's important to protect our hair from the havoc UVA and UVB rays can wreak on our tresses. L'Oreal has made that a little easier by creating EverPure UV Protect Spray. It features both UVA and UVB filters to provide extra protection for your hair. This spray can be used daily, on any hair type. The formula is 100% Vegan and is not tested on animals. I spray this on right after washing my hair and it really makes my hair easy to comb through. The scent is the same as the rest of the EverPure line: Rosemary, Juniper, and mint. EverPure UV Protect Spray left my hair smelling fantastic and looking really shiny. It's also nice knowing my hair has added protection from the Sun!

Eye creams can be tricky products...some tend to break people out, some tend to be greasy, some do what they say they do, some don't. Well, I am in my early twenties and have no signs of wrinkles yet so my mother, age 50, was kind enough to try out L'Oreal- Revitalift AM/PM Deep Set Wrinkle Repair Eye Cream for two weeks and give me her opinion. My mother loved the packaging-easy to use with the two formulas for AM and PM in one little tube. She also said she loved the feel of this cream saying "It was so smooth going on and didn't feel greasy or sticky. As soon as I put it on, It felt like it disappeared on my skin. There was no sticky residue." After one week of use, my mother started noticing a change in her eye area. She said "I look more awake and the lines around my eyes are less noticeable." At the end of the second week, she noticed major improvements in the lines around her eyes, saying "I looked about 5 years younger and got quite a few compliments from friends. None of them knew exactly what was different but I got alot of "You look great"s."

Mascaras tend to cater to different needs such as lengthening, defining, or volumizing. L'Oreal Extra Volume Collagen Mascara obviously falls into that last category. So, does it do the job? Well, the brush itself is really thick, quite alot bigger than other L'Oreal mascara brushes. This mascara is supposed to provide 12X more impact instantly, volumizing your lashes without clumping. Right off the bat, I can tell you it really did make my lashes look thicker with very little clumping. It also wore really well without smudging all over the place which is a big thumbs up. The volumizing effect wasn't overly impressive but it did make my lashes look thicker and fuller-it just wasn't outstanding. When applying, to get the full effect I suggest placing the brush right into the base of your lashes and wiggling back and forth as you sweep it up to the tips of your lashes. That tends to help it grab every lash. I do think this is a great pick for anyone in need of an affordable, volumizing mascara.

I used this to smooth my ends. It worked great and helped my hair look healthier and alot less frizzy. This is perfect for ladies with long, thick hair that tends to be on the dry side. This cream also is good for taming fly aways. Pair it with the mousse or gel for some extreme waves!!

Probably my most loved styling product of the whole collection. This suited my thick, long, wavy hair perfectly. It kept the frizz aways all day and *really* enhanced the waves in my hair. Actually it made my hair look in between wavy and curly. Again, it made my hair smell great. It didn't make my hair stiff or crunchy, but did seem to enhance shine a bit. I just sprayed it on my wet hair and gently "Scrunched" my hair with my hands. If I showered at night, I sprayed my wet hair with the spray gel and braided my hair in two braids. In the morning, my hair was full of beautifully smooth waves!

Herbal Essences Tousle Me Softly Mousse
Perfect For girls with thin or fine hair looking for volume!
This mousse is perfect for ladies with thin or fine hair. It's lightweight so it won't way your hair down and actually bumps up the volume. It didn't leave my hair sticky or stiff to the touch and enhanced the natural wave of my hair while warding off frizz. The hold of this mousse was pretty impressive, my hair was full and wavy throughout the day and only a very minimal amount of frizz reared it's ugly head at the end of the day. My hair is thick though so this product would probably be just what fine, thin hair needs!
