  • John Frieda Frizz Ease Expert Finish Polishing Serum

One of my holy grail products for now. I use this mostly during the winter due to my fine, flat, flyaway hair during the cold months. It outperforms better than any frizz taming hair products I've ever tried. This product doesn't make my hair cling to my shirt or complete flyaway alert and even if it did, it only did so to a minimum. I love how this product is an oil but doesn't weigh my hair down at all. It is completely light, makes my hair shiny, and just a pump goes a long way. The only downside to this is I wish it was in a bigger bottle since every time I use this, I'm so afraid it's going to run out since there's not much product in this and the clear packaging makes it easy to see if you're going to run out soon.

  • Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge

I love how affordable this is. I bought the Beauty Blender before but didn't want to spend $20 on a sponge so I returned it. I wanted a cheaper alternative and after researching on Youtube if this sponge was really a dupe, many people say it's not the same but it's the most comparable so I decided to give it a go. This sponge works fantastically to blend out my foundation. I love the flat side it comes with and the pointy side to get into every nook and cranny when highlighting. However, I hate that it absorbs a lot of product. Normally, I apply my foundation with my beloved Elf brush but wanted to try something different. With my brush, I only need a nickel size amount of foundation on the back of my hand. With this sponge, I feel like I have to use three times the amount of foundation because this sponge absorbs most of the product. Such a disappointment. It gives my skin a pretty nice finish but maybe I should reconsider purchasing the Beauty Blender again. At least with that sponge, I don't have to worry about product buildup inside my sponge.

  • Sonia Kashuk Eye Couture Eye Palette

So hard to find a good palette with only matte colors but thankfully I finally found this one. These colors work so well together and pretty pigmented for a drugstore brand although not quite as pigmented as I would like compared to my Lorac Pro palette. I reach for this palette often when doing transition or crease shades. It looks really natural. I didn't find that these shades were too powdery or chalky like the Naked Basics palette. Love the variety of this and I always recommend this for my friends who don't like shimmery eyeshadow. The only downside to this palette is that some colors don't even show up on the lids at all.

  • Maybelline New York Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer

This product has been floating around Youtube like crazzyyy and it's a surprise there's only one review on it so far. This concealer has a very light coverage. The shades on this are also very light so it's better for highlighting than concealing. I love the unique sponge applicator even though it is unsanitary but it doesn't bother me. The product applies very smoothly and easy to blend out. I think I would've liked this product as much as my best friend recommended this but too bad, there's not really a right shade to conceal with.

  • E.L.F. Studio Eye Primer & Liner Sealer

Enjoy the primer on this but I hardly ever use the liner sealer since I don't want to contaminate my eyeshadow by putting a wet brush in my eyeshadow. The primer is pretty good. It gives my eyeshadow a really nice base that for some reason, I can't achieve the same look with some of my other high-end eye primers. This primer makes my eyeshadow look soft and not too extreme if that makes any sense. I love how this isn't a liquid or gel form like most eye primers but a stick that glides across my lid and I can just pat it out with my ring finger. Only bad thing is that the formula is not soft or creamy enough that it tends to tug when dragged across my lids.

  • CoverGirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation
    9.0

CoverGirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation

Great for oily skin like me....

I noticed the longer I have this on, the more flawless my skin looks. I like how it makes my skin matte but not too mattifying that my skin doesn't glow. It controls my oil throughout the day. Even though this foundation claims to be 3 in 1 with primer, foundation, and concealer, I would still recommend applying a concealer afterwards since it didn't really cover up my dark spots well. I also like how light this foundation feels on my face without feeling like I have 10 pounds of makeup on. My skin can still breathe fortunately. I only wish they have more yellow undertones to this since most of the colors have more of a pink undertone but overall, good foundation to have if you have oily skin. Unlike other reviewers though, this foundation really didn't oxidize a lot for me. Only just a little bit but not too bad. Makes my skin look airbrushed! My fave drugstore foundation by far!

  • Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion

I've decided to use up the whole bottle just to see my thoughts on it. After using this for a month, I have come to a conclusion. It is pretty moisturizing without leaving my skin feeling too greasy. It also absorbs pretty fast. I was hoping this lotion would clear up my PUPPS from my pregnancy but it didn't do anything to improve it except for making my skin feel more moisturized. The smell doesn't bother me compared to all the other reviewers. Because I've been using Aveeno products so much, I think I've just gotten used to it that I don't notice the scent anymore. It just smells like the natural signature Aveeno scent that's pretty much in all their products. Well, at least this product didn't make my rash worse. I don't love it or hate it. Still searching for my holy grail lotion that works for me though.

  • Nivea Essentially Enriched Body Lotion
    2.0

    Nivea Essentially Enriched Body Lotion

    Really good reviews but....

Don't know why this product did not work on my skin. I have oily skin during the summer but dry skin in the winter and my hands are cracked. I was hoping this lotion would fix it but it did nothing to my skin. I find it to be really rich but greasy on my skin and didn't heal my dry cracked skin at all. It just sits on top of my skin without any absorbing quality. It didn't leave my skin soft either. No improvement on my skin after I used it for a month. I will just be sticking to Aveeno from now on.

  • Clear Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy Volumizing Root Boost Nourishing Shampoo

Usually I can't tell if a shampoo makes my super fine hair flat but I can totally tell with this one. It is NOT a volumizing shampoo. I repeat NOT a volumizing shampoo! I would say this shampoo is better for dry hair since it makes my hair super silky and smooth but after one use of this, my hair looked flatter than it has ever been in my life and with this product I don't even have to use the conditioner afterwards. This is the first shampoo I ever had to return because the result of my hair looking limp and flat left me very depressed. Only buy this if you have dry, damaged hair. Other than that if you're looking for a volumizing shampoo, steer clear of this one.

  • Olay Complete All Day Moisturizer with Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15 - Normal
    6.0

Olay Complete All Day Moisturizer with Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15 - Normal

Probably should've brought the oily skin version....

I bought this in the normal skin even though my skin is pretty oily. After Allure listed this as best facial moisturizer, I had to try it. I don't know if it's just my pregnancy acting up but this moisturizer broke me out on my chin a lot. I love my moisturizers to have SPF which this product does but the Ulta I went to only offered the normal skin version, not the sensitive and the oily. Don't know if I got those versions, it would make a difference. This moisturizer leaves a sheen on my face after applying which I do not like. I like how this product isn't too thick and heavy and it does a pretty decent job of spreading evenly and absorbing pretty quickly into my skin. I don't like how this moisturizer made my face greasy after one hour of wearing this even in the winter. With my 3 in 1 Covergirl foundation on top of this (which is pretty good about looking matte throughout the day with other moisturizers), I started to look greasy after an hour. Definitely not for oily skin girls like me.
