When I got this, I couldn't stand the smell. It smells similar to chalk. Usually eyeshadow scents are undetectable for me but not this one. I've heard only good things about this palette so I was extremely pleased when I was one of the lucky reviewers to receive this for free from TotalBeauty. The colors in the Nude 1 palette that I received were too similar in colors so it's hard to tell that I have different colors on my lids especially my transition colors. I love how silky and buttery these shadows are. Very comparable to Urban Decay Naked palettes but just not as pigmented. Don't expect a lot of color payoff. These blended beautifully and even though when tapping my brush into the product it has a little bit of fallout when I placed it on my eyelid there were no fallout onto my cheeks. Usually I hate drugstore eyeshadow but this is very comparable to some high end eyeshadows I've tried. It was so easy to get that perfect smokey eye look without trying too hard. And the pans contain so much product for the price! I'm very impressed with this palette that I also bought the Nude 2 palette. The Nude 2 palette to my disappointment was not as well implemented like the Nude 1. I was really hoping to like the Nude 2 palette more since the colors appealed to me more because of all the purple and plum shades but all the colors look exactly the same on the lids and some of the colors were really blotchy. There's also not a really good transition shade to blend everything out like the Nude 1 palette. Even though a lot of people didn't like the brush in here I actually enjoyed the small brush side, not the sponge side. I found it useful to highlight my inner color and apply color on my lower lash line. Because the Nude 2 palette didn't live up to my expectations, I had to dock a point from this. Otherwise I would have rated this 8 stars.

I thought this was going to be a clear tinted gloss like how it was swatched on the website. I got this in Maple Blondie and was hoping for just a tinted pink gloss. Instead the color turned out to be more pink than a glossy pink color. It makes me look washed out because of the frosty pink coral color. I had to return it. I decided to try a different color instead since I've heard many great reviews on this product all over Youtube and I really wanted to see what all the hype is about. I got this in the color Madeleine the second time around and it works way better. Finally a color that complements my skin tone. The only thing I don't like about the NYX line is that the color on the packaging is not exactly how it turns out when applied so I'm kind of biased towards this line AND hesitant to try new lip products from NYX because of this reason. I have to return multiple colors in the past because the color is way off and just gets annoying after a while. Enough about me having issues about the colors in this line. The formula on this lip product is super buttery, not too greasy, and not sticky at all. It's also really moisturizing. I can actually see why reviewers love this product so much. This has a nice sweet cupcake scent to it but taste nothing like the scent. I expected it to be sweet or something but it's not. The taste is a bit off but bearable enough. Just be on the lookout if you have to return multiple colors in order to find the right one for your skin tone. I now own Eclair as well and I love it! It has a light lavender/pink color and it looks amazing without looking too pastel or clownish.

These reminded me so much of the Maybelline Color Elixirs which I wanted to love so much but I just can't stand heavily scented perfumed products. Thank god this one only has a light rose scent that doesn't bother me as much and doesn't taste nasty like the Maybelline one. The colors are really pretty and applies really smooth. The wand applicator is so unique. It's like your typical wand applicator but cut in half. You'll see what I mean if you purchase it. This makes the wand hug all the curves of my lips. The product inside is super great. It's the right richness in color, lasts super long, and super moisturizing. I reach for this often. I love it! Thanks to NikkieTutorials for putting this in her favorites.

I'm surprised I actually liked this product (even though there were soooo many bad reviews on this). My hopes were extremely low for this product but after using this several times now, I can honestly say I don't know why other reviewers didn't like this product as much as I did. Now I'm wondering if we all tried the same product lol. But I know that makeup is personal and everyone has different taste and skin types. I like how smooth it applied and so easy to blend out. I got a sample of this so even if I didn't like this product, I wouldn't be wasting my money anyways. Unlike other reviewers here, I found that this concealer worked wonders for my undereye circles but not so much on my blemishes and hyperpigmentation. Weird. When I first swatched this on my hand, the concealer applied greasy because it's meant to be a hydrating concealer and because I have oily skin I was afraid it was going to crease. But I'm stunningly surprised that when I applied this under my eyes, it did not crease on me at all and it dried wonderfully while at the same time being hydrating without greasy. I thought this concealer would never set but it did. I don't have much imperfections to cover and not too dark of undereye circles so this worked well to brighten my undereye area. When I applied this over the hyperpigmentation on my cheeks and chin however, it rubbed off even when I set it with a powder. I like this for my undereye area but not so much for blemishes and my hyperpigmentation since it's also very light in coverage and will not cover much. Will definitely use when my skin is dryer.

But not really aimed at oily skin like me. I might try their Mat Velvet foundation next. It's just too expensive. After soooo many Youtubers recommend this I decided to give it a whirl. Everyone says it photographs beautifully which I couldn't really tell the difference to be honest. I love how this foundation gives me the most beautiful glow. It does have a pretty nice coverage. It has a medium coverage but not too light or too full. This is the first foundation that doesn't transfer onto my tissue whenever I blow my nose which I do quite frequently after applying my makeup since my eyes are so sensitive. First product I've tried from Makeup Forever and I'm pretty impressed but not so much with the price tag.

I got a trial size of this from Ulta during their Beauty Deals since I wanted to give it a test drive because of all the hype on this product. I have oily lids and so many people say it's best for that skin type. However the first month I used it, every time I squeeze a droplet to use, the product always seems to separate. I'll get oil to come out first before a well-mixed drop comes out. (I NEVER have this problem with my UD primer potion.) It's really annoying! I suggest you squeeze the tube with the lid on it first to avoid this so the product is well-mixed before using. For an eyeshadow primer that's supposed to control oily lids but tends to separate from the oil in this, I have my doubts about this. Now that I've used this repeatedly I actually like this more than the UD primer potion because it's smoother and less tackier than the UD one. I've been using this most days and I find that it makes my eyeshadow blend better than the UD primer potion as well. Love this!

I got this as a sample from Sephora. It really does make a difference for my eyeshadows. It makes them more vivid and streak-free. Doesn't smudge and goes on so smooth. My eyeshadow stays on all day and when it comes to removing it at the end of the day, I still have some leftover eyeshadow on my lid. That is how potent this primer is. It's perfect for oily lids like mine. I have Revlon Eye Brightener+Primer too and it doesn't seem to have as much staying power as this. This primer leaves a tacky feeling on your lids to make sure your eyeshadows do really stay put but the formula is more drying than the Too Faced Shadow Insurance so it makes my shadows kind of hard to blend out.

What's weird about this is that when I got it in the color Light Sand it was really thick, greasy, and too light on me so I exchanged it for the color Light Medium Neutral and it applies more better. It was now a little more silky and soft without feeling too greasy as the Light Sand color. It even had that powdery feel to it. What's going on with the formulation? It has a mousse-like texture to it and has a medium to heavy coverage. It is a demi-matte finish BUT I feel like this foundation NEVER sets. Not good for my oily skin. When I first use this, I was alright with it mainly because I wanted to like it because a lot of some of my favorite beauty gurus on Youtube love this foundation. But now that I've put it to the test for a month now, I can now say I hate it. Every time I wear this I am super self-conscious because it slips and moves around A LOT almost like it never sets. I wore this to the zoo on a hot humid day and I kept constantly checking my makeup to see if it moved. It did. A LOT! I had to correct all the streaks all day long. This foundation requires too much work. It transfers to all my clothes and stains them. Even though this feels really heavy and greasy, it emphasized all my dry patches. WTH! The good thing about this is that it doesn't oxidize, has good coverage and that's about it.

This is exactly the same thing as the Hard Candy Glamouflage concealer AND you only pay like $6 for the Hard Candy one. $40 for this tube! Luckily I got it for only $29 but still. Don't get me wrong. The tube will last a long time since you only need a little bit to conceal your imperfections. This covers everything. Just be sure to set it with a powder on top because it will transfer. I don't reach for this often and had to return it because for the price I'm expecting something stellar. It is too greasy and even though I love the heavy coverage on this I don't want it to feel heavy too. Bummer. The saleslady at Ulta said they were discontinuing carrying this brand in stores and that's probably why they're discounting all the products. Try it out while you can but this was a miss for me.

I got this at Ulta when they were having their sale on Pur Minerals line. It was $28 and still pretty pricey but at least it's better than me paying $38 for it. So I decided to try it out. This does not feel like a foundation at all to me. It's more like a tinted moisturizer or BB cream. It also has the coverage of that too. This has a light coverage only and even when I build it up it will only get a little bit more coverage but not by much. Reviewers on Ulta said this foundation is supposed to feel like skin and I kinda agree but I kinda disagree as well. This foundation never feels like it truly sets. I can still feel it being sticky. In fact, it was tacky to the point that particles of dust in the air would stick to my face. On the plus side, this foundation feels like it adjusts to my skin tone. I got this in the lightest shade Light and I was afraid it was too light for my NC25 skin tone. I thought my color was more of the color Golden Medium but I ordered wrong online. Throughout the day, the Light color didn't look so light on my face anymore. It blended into my skin like it was my real skin. I will continue to use this just to see if my opinion changes.
