  • Rimmel London Match Perfection 2-in-1 Concealer and Highlighter

This has a very sheer light coverage so I wouldn't suggest this to cover blemishes or imperfections. I love how smooth and easy it goes on and a breeze to blend. Absolutely love the brush tip and you can adjust how big or how small of an amount you want to come out. It's not too thick or too watery. This has a pink undertone so it's not really good for people who have too much of a yellow undertone. My skin only has a hint of yellow so it does wonders to brighten my undereye area. I love this for highlighting. Perfect for days when I want minimal makeup with minimal coverage without feeling like I have 5 pounds of makeup on.

  • Hourglass Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation
    3.0

    Hourglass Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation

Don't see what others are seeing....

Like most other reviewers, I got this as a sample from Sephora. It was a small packet of foundation that only lasted me two uses but during those two uses, I got the same result every time. Just because this foundation is way pricier than any other foundation I've tried, doesn't mean it performs any better. I love the silky smooth powdery texture of this and how it's mattifying but doesn't look completely matte so my face doesn't look flat. However, within an hour it looked super cakey and sunk into all my pores and fine lines. The foundation started to break apart on my face and oxidized really bad to an orange look. Not a very attractive look at all. I have never felt so insecure about a foundation before that I'm afraid would make me look like an Oompa Loompa within an hour.

  • It Cosmetics CC+ Cream with SPF 50+
    9.0

It Cosmetics CC+ Cream with SPF 50+

    The light color is perfect!

There's not a lot of shade ranges of this so I was nervous to see if one color would suffice. Luckily for me the light color was the perfect match for my light Asian skin tone. It blends beautifully into my skin. I wouldn't say this CC cream is "full coverage" like the name. It has a light to medium coverage BUT it definitely has more coverage than any other CC creams I've tried. This feels really lotiony-like and once it sets, not at all greasy. I love how glowy my skin looks after putting this on. And when I say glowy, I mean glowy. Not oily or slick looking. This definitely has some brightening factors. I got this as a sample from Ulta and I love this. I just wish there were more range of colors and more full coverage. I can wear this and not worry about sun damage because of the SPF 50 in this. Great job It Cosmetics! After trying your eyeshadow palette, I was starting to give up hope on your line but now you've totally redeemed yourself.

  • Naturally Pretty Matte Luxe Transforming Eyeshadow Palette

I had to drive one hour away just to get this at a different Ulta because my local Ulta didn't carry It Cosmetics yet. I wanted to try this so bad because I was tired of the usual neutral colors I own and since this had a variety of different colors that appealed to me like red, blue, orange, and purple, I wanted to give this a shot. I was left very underwhelmed. The colors are super chalky and not completely matte. I would say it's more semi-matte. The transforming shimmering shade did nothing at all to "transform" the color. It was like adding shimmer topcoat to the eyeshadow and not melt into each other like it's supposed to. I don't see how any of the shades are wearable. I have tried look after look and it just did not look good at all. I was expecting the colors to look like a true blue or true orange or red color but it just looked muted and chalky. The colors were not pigmented enough. It didn't blend out the best either. And what is up with the plush suede-like packaging? Not practical at all. It gets dirty really fast. Returned this right away.

  • Ulta Eyebrow Gel
    6.0

    Ulta Eyebrow Gel

    Can't complain....

For the price of an affordable brow gel, I wasn't expecting much from this but after a lot of good reviews on Ulta, I wanted to try it. This only held my brows in place for an hour or so before straying all over the place. It doesn't make my brows sticky or crunchy at all. However the tube is defective or something because every time I close this, a lot of the gel comes out under the cap so be sure to wipe the excess off before using or else you will end up wasting a lot of the product.

  • Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes Mascara

I've never heard about this before until my sister bought it for me on Christmas. Then I started seeing it everywhere and the hypes about it. It makes my lashes look extremely thick and long although this is not a substitute for falsies. My lashes looked really clumpy and spidery after applying 2 coats of this and the first coat didn't thicken enough. Because of the fibers in this, it pokes my eyes a lot and irritates them so I hardly ever reach for this. You have to use this with a thin layer of your own mascara first before applying this. I find that working with a more watery mascara helps to tone down the clump factor.

  • FLOWER Line & Shine Lip Liner

I found this on clearance at Wal-mart and I decided to try it out. I don't know what Drew was thinking but the colors I got are just wrong for the lips. They are not wearable at all. I tried out 2 of the colors from this and I was disappointed every time. The nude color I tried was so pale that my lips looked white and chalky so I returned it for the pink color just to see if it's any better. Nope. The pink was chalky as well and emphasized the lines and cracks of my lips just like the nude color. It was very Pepto Bismol looking. Do not buy or you will be disappointed!

  • Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick
    6.0

Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick

Don't know why it's called long wear...

This liquid lipstick slides around a lot and transfers easily so I don't know why Too Faced marketed this as "long wear" when it's really not. I like how it's not too drying. I wish they had better more wearable colors. Some were too bright or pastel clownish looking. The only color that I was drawn to was Chihuahua. I'm not a big fan of the packaging since the tip gets really messy but the product comes out without a problem. The texture isn't too thick or watery. It kind of reminds me of the NYX Xtreme Lip Butters, only a little bit thicker like a "melted" lipstick. This lipstick didn't even worked as well as my other cheaper drugstore alternatives so I would say the price of this is pretty steep for a lipstick.

  • Japonesque Touch Up Tube 5 Piece Travel Brush

Japonesque individual brushes are amazing but the sets are horrible. Same goes for Sonia Kashuk as well. I love travel brushes especially for eyes since I hate working with long handles when I'm trying to put more detail into my eyeshadow look. These brushes were really mediocre and cheap. The bristles were very low quality like those plastic bristles. It's not soft at all and doesn't get the job done when I'm blending out my eyeshadow. I returned it immediately.

  • Sonia Kashuk Eyeshadow Palette

I hate how these palettes are not consistent at all. Some colors are super pigmented and easy to blend with not a lot of fallout while other colors look beautiful in the pan but when I dip my brush into the color, there's hardly any pigmentation at all. And as we know, Sonia Kashuk is a more pricier brand at the drugstore so I don't want to be using only 2 or 3 out of the 6 colors in the palette when I'm trying to make my money's worth.
