I always have a spare curler thanks to NYC's common availablilty and their dirt cheap prices. This is no shu umeru substitute, but it functions well and as long as you know how to use a curler, you will be fine.

I may like this more than MAC actually, because the pencil can be sharpened so you can get a finer line - but it blends easy and the colors are nice. It costs the same as Mac too I believe, so I'm a huge fan either way!

The brush is very small so I guess to help you with the line on your nails, but the product is thick and that makes for a bad combo. It's hard to get a small enough amount on the brush while still having enough to actually make a whole line. I have had no luck and even with the cheap price tag, it blows.

This is a really good serum, and it smells nice and seems to moisturize very well for a serum, but the price is a little high for something you can get out of a drugstore *olay*.

I love that they made this strengthener with a sheer pink tint and just the faintest shimmer. The price is well worth it here.

This scent smells like dessert - literally. It has a cotton candy/creme brulee scent that I adore but it's almost enough to give you a tooth ache! I layer this with a floral to achieve a more sophisticated scent but I do LOVE the scent by itself, but I seem to crave sweets when I wear it alone so thats not a good thing!

They have great shades and the texture just glides on. The nudes are extremely flattering and they have a great range of pinks. The cost is higher but I LOVE the shades they offer so I would definitely say they are worth the money.

I don't think there's anything too special about OPI accept that they have a large selection of colors to choose from. I much prefer Essie for it's nice thin coats that layer well and I think they have a better brush too. OPI is too thick and that makes it harder to wear the nice nude and sheer shades that they have, so I can't say I'm a fan.

This is another dainty one that seems girly to me. I think it has a nice crisp apple top note that seems semi sophisticated, but it doesn't have any wow factor. It does stay on and leave a nice lingering scent, but I do layer it with a parfum so that could help.

This is a dainty floral that is youthful and fresh. I like it for the day but I really like to layer it for a more sophisticated feel. It doesn't last long and it seems almost drugstore quality for some reason, so for the price, I'll give 7 stars.
