I had just had a rough breakout when I started using this product. My flair up was still obvious but had been in remission for a few days when I started using this face lotion, hoping it wouldn't affect my break out. Much to my surprise, it didn't bother my skin at all, and while the dimethicone definitely made the texture feel silicone based, it didn't clog a single pore and my skin definitely looks brighter after only a week of use. I wish the SPF was higher and a physical sunscreen, but this is a really good face lotion to keep your skin hydrated and over time it evens out your skin tone, total beauty win!

This little tub can solve a multitude of dilemmas. From dry skin, to make up remover, to skin protectant. You get a lot of bang for your buck with this product. I use this for my daughter to prevent dry skin and diaper rash on her sensitive areas. **Feb 2014 Update** I recently got an opportunity to try this wonder product for TB, and explore it's MANY uses. My main use for vaseline is to slather it along my skin right at my hair line and over my ears for when I color my hair at home every 2 weeks. I received a kit that contained lots of recommended uses, and some items to test out the recommended uses. I loved how soft my skin would feel after rubbing it on my hands or feet and leaving gloves or socks on overnight, but I have to admit, the feeling was bizarre and it was hard to fall asleep with socks/gloves on, but the softness of my skin the next morning let me know that I would have to do this before a vacation or when I want some really heavy moisturizing (hello winter harshness). One of my favorite uses, was to dab it on after applying cream blush to get some super glowing cheeks. There was also some coarse sea salt included which I mixed with the vaseline and then massaged/exfolliated myself in the shower (I did this on dry skin, and then washed). There was absolutely no need for the oil that I usually rub in right in the shower. My legs were the most hydrated they've ever been, and my skin had a more even look to it as well. I also swapped out my normal cuticle oil during a manicure and instead used the vaseline to give my cuticles a little massage, and it worked exceptionally well at not only hydrating, but also doubling as a barrier to any nail polish that would normally have dried to my skin. I also lightly dabbed it on over my foundation for a gorgeous dewy complexion, and slathered a bit more on to my face before I got in the shower, and after washing my face, my skin didn't get instantly tight, and retained an incredible amount of moisture and I seemed to need less foundation because it just glided on my skin. I have long used vaseline as eye make up remover, as it is the gentlest way to get the job done. I just pat some on my eyes, and swipe over with a face wipe and everything is gone and my eyes are grateful for the ease and no rubbing factor. Another amazing use was to put a bit on a q-tip and then lightly dab on the under eye, which worked well to hydrate and reduce the appearance of wrinkles around the eyes. Oh, and get this, have you ever tried to put it around the rim of your nail polish bottle? It keeps the polish from sticking on the bottle and making it get all clumpy or stuck. I used it after shaving my legs, rubbing it in to the skin, and then using a very warm washcloth over the skin, it locks in the moisture and allows it to really sink in.

I love the moisturization factor my lips have with this organic balm and in a different scent it may have scored a 10. I got the lavender mint in a sub. box and I love sampling lip balms so I was excited to test drive my new balm. I am a little put off instantly because of the lavender but the mint helps to mellow it and has that great cooling sensation as well. It's not greasy, waxy, it just gives lips that perfect barrier to keep them happy. And there's no scary ingredients in their line either.

I first tried the repair conditioner before trying the shine conditioner and the effect is nearly the same for both conditioners. I think they would work better for finer textured hair or thin hair but it really lacks the extra shot of moisture for my hair, leaving it a bit more unruly than usual. The bottom line is that I didn't finish the bottle which is never a good thing.

I wanted to try this line for a long time and when I saw the shampoo on a sale site I swooped up some on a prayer it was what I was hoping. It has orange extract which is a big role player in the shine and also smells great in the shower. It lathers nicely and when it rinses your hair doesn't feel stripped - just delightfully clean and shiny. I got the conditioner as well but the shampoo is the star of the pair.

I have this bullet with the Calamity Jane scent, but I really want to get the Not A Perfume set of reloads since I prefer that scent. You can purchase the bullet with any of the Juliette Has A Gun scents. The bullet is easy to load and very cute although it will weigh down your purse a bit.

This scent is strong and powdery which makes it smell like an 'older' perfume to me. I'd imagine this scent can be too much for some, it is too much for me on it's own, so I layer it with scents I've found to be too 'young' for me to wear on their own. I layer this with Girlfriend and it's nice.

While I can't promise to be exclusive with my new-found love, since I'm a confessed perfume collector, I can promise it sits high above the others! I received a sample recently through Birchbox, which is a subscription service that allows a gal to try new beauty products based on her beauty profile. I love getting perfume samples because whether I love them or hate them, at least I know how they smell on ME! Scent definitely changes with our own individual chemistry, so testing a fragrance on yourself is the only way to know if you will love how it smells on you. I have another perfume from Juliette Has a Gun, Calamity Jane, and it's not my favorite, but it's strong so I layer it with other scents and make use of it anyway. I knew of this perfume because after I got Calamity Jane, I loved their name and wanted to find out about any other scents or products they offered. I was really intrigued by Not A Perfume but also leery as it pretty much only has 1 note, and what if that note and I were not a match? So when I opened my box and found this sample, I got excited because the box smelled really good and a nice clean smell at that. The scent has great staying power and I find myself smelling my wrists often and even closing my eyes while I take it in, and it's an instant mood booster. I feel pretty, and sophisticated, and intoxicated - strange I know, but my husband has noticed as well. I splurged and bought the big bottle because like I said before, even though I love this scent by itself, I enjoy mixing scents and creating something new and different, and with a base this good, it'd be hard to mess up a blend starring this gem of a scent. I purchased through an online site since it was cheapest through them (with their 20% off coupon you get when you sign up with your email). Ordering directly from the company wasn't an option as they are a European brand and the shipping was almost as much as the perfume! They do offer a sampler of all their perfumes and I'm sure with a little googling one could find the sampler so you could meet this fragrance and all her sisters. I highly recommend you check this one out though, it's extremely unique, and I'll bet you fall in love like I did.

I happen to use another brands 5 blade razor, so I had something to compare this razor to. The Venus-Olay razor does conform to curves better than the razor I currently use, so it won high marks there. I found the moisture bars to be very useful as I could skip using shaving cream all together. I just found that it doesn't shave as close as the razor I use now so I would show stubble the next day where as I can skip a day with my other razor. The scent was pleasant and the shower holder it comes with was a nice touch as well.

I usually like to give products a few days before I review, but this product sold me on night 1. Putting it on it felt like a gel but blended right in to my skin. I followed with my Kinerase, just as the product recommended. When I woke up, it looked like I had done a microdermabrasion treatment! My skin was supple and smooth and very well moisturized. I even had a glow the whole day. I am super impressed with this serum for working effectively, and with how easy it blends in to your skin and doesn't leave a film or sticky feeling.
