  • Stridex Triple Action Medicated Acne Pads

I've found much better since, but when I was using these, I couldn't ask for more. They were soothing to my skin, quick and easy to use, smelt GOOD, and didn't irritate my skin at all. It didn't make my acne disappear in record time or anything, but I think it did help new break outs from appearing at least a little. I also used a spot treatment over it though. I would say they are worth a try, they are definitely on the cheaper side and come with almost a month's worth if you use them twice a day. I would say they are good for those that may have just developed some acne and are having trouble falling into a routine.

  • Clean & Clear Persa-Gel 10 Acne Medication

I borrowed this at a friends house and it did wonders for me over night! I had to buy it. I definitely would suggest to use it over night (with white bedding and cloths if you don't want stuff bleached out) because it kind of leaves a white residue and didn't respond well to the make-up I was using, so I ended up just wiping all of it off in the morning. It works great, but there is a lot of benzoyl peroxide in it, so if your skin is sensitive to it, than be careful. However, after about a tube of this, I had to switch to something else (like always) because it stopped working for my skin. I think I just have insanely immune zits, LoL.

  • Gillette Venus Satin Care Shave Gel

As far as shaving Gel/Cream goes, it does it's job without an extremely strong sent (so if you have scented body wash it won't over power it). It helped limit or rid my legs of razor burn and ingrown hairs and is on the cheep side. And my skin isn't extremely sensitive, like some's may be, but this definitely didn't irritate it at all. However, if you want something to leave your legs feeling like silk . . . I've used better.

  • Wet n Wild Wild Shine Nail Color

These are really cheep at drugstores and though they don't have a million colors to choose from like other nail polish brands, the colors they do have are both fun and simple. 2 positive things. However, as far as color goes, it starts going down hill. I can't vouch for every color because my friend has a barbie doll pink that she just loves, but the purple that I bought was no good. It took 3 or 4 coats to get the color to match what it appeared to be. Then, after all that, it still looked rather streaky and the color was still inconsistent. Also, if I remember correctly, it didn't last a really long time, but it didn't chip too awfully until a few day's wear in, but after all that work and those multiple layers, I would have expected it to be stronger against the elements. I was not impressed.

  • Tigi Bedhead Rockstar Styler 1 Inch Straightener

Just as the title states, I was astounded by this straightener. It is amazing. My friend used her Chi on my hair and a couple days later I bought this and used this. I think it did just as well! It takes less than a minuet to heat up, so you don't have to stand around to wait. It's a rounded barrel so you could do some lose curls and you can get your hair stick straight with this in a few quick swipes. It's amazing and so much cheaper than those expensive brands (though not the cheapest that you could go). I love it and suggest it to all my friends.

  • Olay Definity Deep Penetrating Foaming Moisturizer

When I switched to an acne product set that was doing WONDERS for my skin, but drying it out just a tiney bit than what I was used to, I talked to a cosmetologist about what would be a good light moisturizer. I had never really used moisturizer before my skin wasn't dry (I know better now!). She suggested this because it was a good light moisturizer but did it's job. Well, it is light, and it did get rid of my dryness, but it left my skin feeling so sticky! Not to mention, my skin never really felt soft after using the product. The foaming helped me get a good amount without having to use a ton, and there for the bottle lasted a while, but this product was not right for me. And it is expensive in comparison to some other better products by this brand and others.

  • Olay Active Hydrating Beauty Fluid Lotion - Original

This is what my mom uses it and she always get's complements on her skin. I borrow it a lot of times, but I personally find it to be a bit too much moisture for my skin and I end up feeling oily for the whole day. However, I love the smell, and it is wonderful when my skin is really really dry, but that isn't often. It does it's job and is kind to your face when doing it. I don't know if it is non-comedogenic or not, but I have never had a break out when using the product, like I often do when using new products. Good stuff, just too much moisture for me.

  • C.O. Bigelow Rose Salve Tin

I pretty much hate anything but Vaseline for my lips. Chapsticks always leave my lips dry about an hour later, and I generally don't like balms like this because your finger gets all messy. However, this one is worth the messy finger. I borrow this from my friend any chance I can get. It is kind of a funky flavor, but you get used to it; it does leave your lips smelling good, LoL. As far as the moisture goes, it is very nice! I haven't noticed my lips drying out a short time later either. My friend has had this for months and months and still hasn't had to replace it! I would vote that it is very long lasting on that note.

  • Bath & Body Works Anti-Bacterial Moisturizing Lotion
    3.0

Bath & Body Works Anti-Bacterial Moisturizing Lotion

Uh, Alcoholic and Lotion Don't Mix!

I bought this (the Cottage Apple to be exact) thinking that it was a brilliant idea! I'm a sanitizing person when I am in a public place and I am lotion obsessed, so this was perfect. WRONG! While I have faith that it sanitized just as well as the plain old sanitizer from here, the moisture wasn't great. Along with this, if you are applying lotion because your hands are dry - I don't know about you, but that's what I do - don't use this! I wasn't thinking and it burned my chapped hands awfully! It's like poring sanitizer into open cuts if you used this on chapped hands. Very unpleasant. On the plus side . . . it smells great, not much like alcoholic at all, and it lasted me a very long time!

  • Bath & Body Works Signature Collection Shower Gel

Oh goodness, where do I start with these. I really really love the smells and I feel like they really are true to what they say. I mean, the butterfly flower smells EXACTLY like butterfly flower. I also love all the choices. You can almost wash by seasons, some flower-y scents for spring, citrus for summer, and warmer scents for fall and winter. Whatever your mood you will find a scent to match (as long as they don't discontinue it which they like to do). It is kind of expensive, but I generally by mine on one of the stores many buy 3 get 2 free or by 2 get 1 free deals. I'm highly stocked and haven't had to buy any in months (and I only have three bottles I rotate between)! However, I will say that the scents don't stay on my skin. They did well for my sister, but an hour after the shower and I couldn't smell it anymore, so I pair mine up with the lotions. The lotions are all right for being nicely scented, but if you need hevy duty moisture, no. One important note is that I had a tiny bit of acne on my back before, but when I started using these . . . bam! Acne way worse than it was. Nothing a acne wash (just on my back) couldn't fix though. Give it a try if you want some different scents than the standard drug store brands, but be prepared for acne if you have acne prone skin!
