  • Gillette Venus Embrace Razor

I started shaving when the Venus Divine first came out and that was all I used for about 5+ years until I stumbled across these blades. I believe they were on sale so I decided to try them. They are VERY nice. Five razor blades for us girls! Awesome. The "ribbons" of moisture are good too, but just like with the other Venus razor blades I used, they seem to fade away a lot faster than the razor does, though I have very fine hair and can usually get away with using a razor head every other day for about 3 months. I feel like this razor really gets me very smooth and my only real qualm is that the head is kind of big so it is sort of hard for me to shave my small arm pit area. The price is slightly up there, but they last me for ever, so I can't complain! Oh, and as far as the handle actually goes, I really like it . . . it is cushy and rubberized so I really do get a better grip on it. And if you have a shower that the suction container will work in, it is marvelous; it keeps my razor up and out of the way while letting my hard water drip off of it so it doesn't get as scummy as it did when I didn't have that holder.

Clean & Clear Morning Burst Facial Cleanser

No Good in Comparison to the Squeeze Bottle Version!

I only bought this after using the squeeze bottle version because the store was out of that type. After using the squeeze bottle version and loving it and being completely out, I figured why not, the pump might even be convenient!? WRONG! The pump broke less than half way through. The scrubyness of this version sucks in comparison; it is one of those washes that leaves you wondering why there are even beads in it in the first place. It also felt so very oil-y to me and left my skin feeling tight in a bad way (this is before I used moisturizer, so that may have helped). I ended up returning it due to the broken pump and bough the good ol' Clean and Clear Morning Burst Scrub in the squeeze bottle!

  • Biore Skin Preservation Hard Day's Night Overnight Moisturizer

I have never used a night moisturizer before but I like this one. It took a little while to get used to and if you have a spot treatment you need to put on, I would put it on after the moisturizer, otherwise it'll just flake off (at least mine did). However, I really like the idea of the vitamins in this. Oh, and I have combination skin and it managed to make my skin feel moisturized without drying it out. Although, if you need a lot of moisture, I would not suggest it because it didn't work for my mom who has dry skin. I would give it a try, I know I definitely have a small collection of clearance ones under MY sink!

  • Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 45

This sunblock is, for once, not an oily, runny mess! Even when it was left out in the car I did not notice it get any runnier, like how my Coppertone 70 likes to turn into water. Along with those benefits, it is not sticky. You put it on and it is protecting your skin, while it feels like it isn't even there, only leaving softer skin behind. It was gentle on my acne prone skin too, because it is non-comedogenic. I spent hours at the beach and never reapplied (shame) and it still kept my porcelain colored skin from getting sunburned while I boogie borded. My ONLY complaint is that I feel like I have to use a bit more because it absorbs so quickly. It doesn't go a real long way when spreading it out. I know I'll be using this sunscreen for any day in the sun!

  • Covergirl LashBlast Luxe Mascara

This mascara is not bad. It has a good wand to prevent clumps, darkens the lashes, and lengthens them a tad. However, I didn't see an improvement in thickness and I still had to comb out my eye lashes a bit. I would say good for a subtle look, but not for drama. As far the luxe goes, I could only see the added gleam when I looked very very closely in a mirror. I doubt anyone else would be able to tell.

  • The Body Shop Spa Wisdom Africa Ximenia & Salt Scrub

If there is such a thing as a smooth scrub, this is it. This is a scrubber that almost feels like you are lotioning up while you are scrubbing. It's gentle and I believe a lot of the ingredients are natural and from Africa; which is kind of nice, I guess. However, I would not suggest this as a severe scrub. I have different scrubs for that. This scrub has really small sugar granulates, and (I feel like) not a lot of them. So, while it gets rid of dead skin, I feel like it isn't the deepest of scrubs. A good everyday or once a week scrub that would probably be really great for people with sensitive skin.

  • Bath & Body Works Aromatherapy Body Lotion

I used to use the Lavender Vanilla one all the time before I went to bed, but I found that my Curel was moisturizing my hands way more than this stuff. So, maybe the moisture isn't the best, but the scents really do have an affect. My friend had such an awful head ache while we were shopping and we walked into Bath and Body works so I told her to try the Relaxation one. She couldn't stop breathing it in because it was taking the pain away. The store person said every time she gets a head ache she puts the same stuff on her temples and it goes away. I really like the energizing one, both of the scents. I don't know how much it energizes me because I am energetic to begin with, but it smells nice. So give it a shot if smells affect you like they do my friend. You have two (maybe three) scents to choose from for each mood. I believe they are Energizing, Sleepy, Subduction, and Relaxation. However, I wouldn't make this your go to if your hands are in dire need of some loving moisturizing.

  • Bath & Body Works Signature Collection Body Lotion

Great Scents, but as I discovered today, the Bath and Body Works Body Creams are way better. They are both scented marvelously, but the creams deliver much more moisture. However, if moisture is not what you are looking for, these lotions are great. Like, I would personally use the cremes in the winter (maybe the fall) when my skin needs some more love and the lotions the rest of the year. I like to use the lotion just to enhance the shower gel that I used in the shower because, for what ever reason, the scent doesn't stick well on my skin. This lotion helps lightly moisturize and enhance smell. A lot of scents to choose from too!

  • Bath & Body Works Triple Moisture Body Cream

This is finally scent AND moisture in one. I usually just use my lotion by Bath and Body Works after I get out of the shower just so I can enhance the smell of the shower gel I used by them; but when I tried this in the store today, my jaw dropped. The lotion? No moisture. The cream? Amazing moisture AND the amazing smell. I put it on my hands and I couldn't stop rubbing my hands; they felt so soft and silky. Plus, the smell truly lasted! I mean, I'm still a fan of Curel for hard core healing miniaturization, but if you want to find something with a little more moisture than those lotions by this brand, try this for sure!

  • Biore Skin Preservation Dual Fusion Moisturizer + SPF 30

Okay, so I never moisturized. I figured, "I have an oily T-zone, lets not make it worse!" But when I switched acne washes, parts of my face were actually DRY, but my skin was amazingly clear, so I wanted to keep using it. I hated Olay's foaming moisturizer that I got; so I talked to a friend and when we were standing in Target looking at all the products, she nearly screamed when she saw this, directing me that I should try it. It is a 30 SPF and a moisturizer that come out separately with Zinc and Octinoxate. It is also non-comedogenic for those with acne like me. Trust me, when I was in search for an SPF 30, a non-comedogenic version was hard to find. When I put it on in the morning I notice an immediate softness. It (and Biore's Hard Days Night) has done so much for my skin that I almost have trouble keeping my hands off of my face during the day! I have even been told that my skin felt like a rose petal. It is a definite must try, but keep in mind, the first use can be kind of hard to get both pumps to dispense . . . it's worth it though!
