This lotion tingles a little, so it feels like it's 'working.' It's better than most lotions out there. It's light, moisturizing, and only slightly oily (keep in mind I think every lotion except kinerase is oily). It gets a 2 on an oil scale of 1-10 (10 being very oily). One thing seems odd - if you rub the lotion on one side of you face, and finish the other side, when you return to the original side to rub just a little more into your skin, you get a white redidue flaking from your skin. I found if you use the lotion, and don't touch it for 2 to 5 minutes, it works out really well.

The first time I used this, after I rinsed my face I freaked out, "Get it OFF!!" It felt like i spread grease/oil all over my face, and I needed a cleanser to get it off. I recleansed half of my face, and left the other half with the burt's bees cleanser, to see how it turned out. It did start to... 'soak in' after 10 minutes or so. A couple hours later, it felt like I had washed and moisturized my face, although I had not applied moisturizer. I still did not like it, but might be worth a shot for other skin types.

This creme has the consistency that melted butter has as it solidifies. It's very thick, very greasy. It was horrible on my face. I keep it around and use it on my cuticles, however. Works great there.
