CoverGirl Lash Blast Volume Mascara

Very buildable

I really like to have dramatic lashes-- this mascara is perfect for building up. I apply two or three coats and it dries together without clumping, creating huge volume. If you're looking for a quality drug-store mascara, you can't beat Lash Blast. I've switched mascaras a lot looking for the best in my price range, and I always come back to this one. A tip I picked up from a friend-- this same mascara in waterproof holds a curl even longer than the regular formula.

NeXXus Pro·Mend Split End Binding Overnight Treatment Creme

Delivers on its claims

I picked this product up on a whim before I got my hair cut. I knew my stylist was going to have to chop a few inches off of my hair to rid it of split-ends, and I wanted to see if I could save some of the length. I left the product in overnight and shampooed in the morning (with just my regular shampoo, not the Nexxus line) and I could instantly tell the difference. It claims to repair 94% of split-ends.... the next day I could only find one split end in my hair. I now use once every week or two to prevent future damage. The best part is that when I got my hair cut, my stylist was able to leave my length. The only downside is that I think the product smells really awful, but I don't even mind with results like this.

Neutrogena Naturals Purifying Facial Cleanser

Gentle but still powerful

I have problem skin that tends to get irritated easily and is also prone to acne. I've been switching cleansers frequently to try to find something that works for me--- and I'm so glad I discovered the Neutrogena Naturals line. This cleanser doesn't irritate my skin, but after just a week, my skin is already clearing. The lotion from this line is another obsession of mine. One thing to clarify-- this cleanser is for acne or problem skin. The other cleanser from Neutrogena Naturals is a make-up removing cleanser, formulated to be gentle on eyes. Though I love the make-up removing cleaner, it doesn't do anything for acne. I use them both-- the make-up removing one to take off mascara and eyeshadow, and this purifying one to combat acne.
