This is very urban and modern. It is crisp, citrusy, woody, a bit exotic, and sexy, slightly masculine, but not overly so. It is long lasting. It is bold, but not too strong. I would wear this downtown. It is what I think Twirl wants to be.

L'Occitane really captured the essence of green tea. This scent is light and fresh, but has staying power. I tried it on at the store, ran some errands and had to return to buy it. I like the fact that you have to get up and personal to smell it on me. It also comes in a travel size and solid, so it is very affordable. Nice for work or occasions when you want a subtle, fresh scent.

I got a very generous sample of the formula for fine color treated hair so I tried it with an open mind. It has a very strong floral fragrance. It seemed to completely clean my hair, make it shiny, and volumize it, but at the expense of drying it out and making my scalp really, really itchy. I tried it both with my normal conditioner and the Wella Brilliance Conditioner for fine hair (which I liked). I proceeded to read the ingredients and was disappointed that it contains sodium lauryl sulfate as its second ingredient (after water) which is a very harsh, irritating, drying cleanser. Sodium LAURETH sulfate is a gentle and good cleanser. It also contains sodium chloride (salt). I spend a lot of money for my stylist to do her magic on my hair and would not continue to use this product on my colored hair. Salt is very drying, damaging, and can strip color. If you live in a cold snowy climate, you know what salt does to roads, walkways, and the paint on your car. If you live near the ocean..well enough said. I am also skeptical about the diamond dust. I am sure it adds shine, but diamond is the hardest material out there, I would be concerned that even though it is ground to a very fine powder, it might have the potential to be abrasive enough to damage my hair. I don't feel this shampoo is appropriate at all for color treated hair. My best beauty advice to anyone is to read the ingredient label on anything that goes in or on your body (or hair) before using it.

I tried the Brillance formula for fine hair. It left my hair soft, shiny and tangle-free. It did not weigh my hair down. It has a very strong, floral fragrance that does not fade (for days), so smell it before you buy it to make sure you like it. This is probably not one most guys are going to want to use. It is a little expensive, but not ridiculously. It is definitely worth your consideration.

Clinique Super City Block Oil-Free Daily Face Protector Broad Spectrum SPF 40
Best Sunscreen for senstive skin!!!!
This will not irritate sensitive skin because it uses Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide as its active ingredients to get the spf rating. The unique thing about this sunscreen is that those ingredients typically leave a chalky, white cast on tan or dark skins--Clinique brilliantly addresses this by adding a tint to the sunscreen. I have light-medium skin and detect no white cast. This also is light and acts as kind of a primer under makeup and has other beneficial ingredients for skin. I get no breakouts or irritation from this prouct. Awesome sunscreen for sensitive skin, especially if you can get a gwp with it!!!!

I got the trio in Dune which is a nice, classic soft shimmer nude pallete that brightens your eyes. It is well pigmented and lasts without creasing. The shadow itself is high quality and pretty. The palette was inexpesive. The actual plastic case is cheap and hard to open. The applicators are rough and the shadow is not sealed in any way, so make sure you open it to check before you buy a used one.

This is very nice lasting shadow that is pigmented and great for natural, classic looks. It does not irritate sensitive skin, wear off, or crease. The colors are very easy to apply and blend. It is a bit expensive and have tiny applicators that are awkward to use. I have "Riviera Rose" which reads as a mostly flesh color with a slight hint of pink. It has a soft shimmer to it which makes it great as a highlighter.

This is a high quality silky fine powder that applies and blends beautifully. It is well pigmented. It does not irritate. It has a subtle shimmer that brightens. This eye shadow is a bit expensive, but Bobbi Brown really has a masterful eye for color. I have rose gold and it is a fabulous, flattering color natural wine pink color. Also, at this price, an applicator should at least be included.

These are very expensive considering you get 24 swabs (less than a month's worth if used daily) for $5 when you can get a whole bottle of an excellent waterproof eye makeup remover and a box of q-tips for $10 (more than a whole year's worth when used daily). However these are convenient to have in your purse, especially going from day at the office to evening out. The makeup remover is gentle even for super sensitive skin around the eyes, yet effective at removing the most tenacious makeup, such as waterproof mascara and waterproof gel eyeliner. You snap the tip of the swab at one end to get the fluid flowing to moisten the swab (think swab Easter egg decorating dye). It keeps the swabs from the chance of drying out. The plastic case protects them and keeps them fresh and clean. This is way too expensive to use on a daily basis, but a must-have for quick precise touchups. It fits easily in your purse or drawer at the office.

Olay Regenerist Regenerating Serum
(Fragrance-free review) Great Anti-aging moisturizer, makeup primer, and eye cream too!
I tried the Fragrance Free version and have to say I am not a big fan of Olay's fragranced products. This is the BEST, BEST, BEST moisturizer ever! I used to only use department store moisturizers, but ran out and grabbed this one because it was on sale. I LOVE it! I have super sensitive, combo skin. It does not irritate at all. It is the same as Olay's eye lifting serum (but you get more for your money) minus the minerals so I used it as an eye cream too. It did not irritate my lids or eyes at all. This has a light, silky, silicone gel texture that absorbs beautifully. It made both the dry and oily areas of my face comfortably moisturized. It did not cause acne. I used it both at night and under makeup in the daytime. To my surprise, this also works great as a makeup primer and has awesome ingredients to keep your skin healthy in one step!. It made my face smooth and glowing and kept my makeup in place (eye shadow, liner, foundation, blush, powder, concealer and did not mess up my eyeliner or mascara). The pump dispenses the just right amount, keeps the serum fresh and potent. The pump also locks so it does not mess up your makeup bag and travels well. It is very reasonably priced and often goes on sale! Definite MUST have. If you try one drugstore skincare product, this is it.
