I find that Julep polishes are hit and miss. They have wonderful colors, but sometimes you get a creme that is a perfect consistency, has the flat brush for better application, then you get different creme color with the round brush, it's thick and applies horribly. I have an earlier metallic pink that leaves silver streaks where the brush overlaps during application and I have later metallics that apply wonderfully. The glitters so far have been decent. not too little or too many glitter chunks. They have a wide variety of colors. I just wish their formulas (and brush style) were more consistent.

I love this gloss. It isn't sticky, but stays ok. The colors are pretty and fairly pigmented. It is a bit pricy, but I love the ones I own.

The brush is super huge and it does an ok job at length. I prefer a smaller brush and more volume.

I got this in a tinted version. But the color was not enough for me. Brows stay all day - would repurchase if they had colors.

I think I have 6 of these now. Gold, Taupe, Orange, White, Green, and Pomegranate. I LOVE these. I usually apply them as a base for other colors. I use a brush to lay the product down then blend out with my finger. These last all day, don't crease, and really add to sheer eyeshadow and give added depth to any eyeshadow. I love using the white under pinks as it really makes them pop. The taupe is a bit off for my skin tone and unlike some people, I can not wear it just by itself. It does make a nice base for taupes that I can wear. The green is not what I consider Emerald green, but it really adds depth to my favorite eyeshadow color - green! The gold works really well under natural colors, browns, golds, bronzes. The orange is great for summery yellow/orange/red looks which really compliment blue/green eyes. I love wearing reddish/burgundy colors as well, and find myself grabbing for the pomegranate punk color often. I have not gone for the purple because it is hard to work with, but I may give it a go. I know MUF makes a nice bright purple, and I might just spend the extra money on that one instead. I would love to get the rest of the colors, but they always seem to be out at the store - that tells me just how much people love them. I hope they come out with many more colors - matte and shimmer. Some nude colors, a matte white, maybe different versions of blue and green. These are smooth, creamy, and work well. I would highly recommend these as they are at a good price. They often have buy one get one free or buy one get one half off.

First off, I chose to try Almay because they make cosmetics for sensitive skin. I also have fair skin. The lightest (pinky) shade is perfect for me. I have combination skin and this product is dry enough to cover and not cause my t-zone to be greasy looking. There is minimal transfer with the foundation and it really does last well all day. When I tried the Garnier bb cream and found it was too dark and to moist, I was able to fix that by mixing it with almay's tlc foundation. Of course the foundation lasts longer on it's own, but it did help with transfer and the almost greasy issues the bb cream created. I find that since this foundation stays so well, no matter what blush I use - even cheap short wearing ones, last much longer. I believe if you have a really good base, your other makeup will stay longer. It's not a full coverage foundation, I would call it medium coverage. It does look great, but doesn't always cover flaws that come with 30+ age. I have had no breakouts from this, no sensitive skin issues, and I really love how this foundation wears. I highly recommend this foundation to anyone looking for a good drugstore foundation and is worried about breakouts or harsh chemicals.

I tend to like the Revlon lipsticks more than any other. They have a great selection, they are moisturizing, and they are decently priced. I often get them during sales and bogo deals as they happen a lot. They many different finishes and I love the packaging. Easy to open, easy to use, and very classic looking. There is no scent or taste, which I absolutely love. They wear easily and last a decent amount of time. Overall I will repurchase again and again, and I will recommend it to my friends.

I like these glosses. They are not too sticky, and they last a decent amount of time for a gloss. They work great alone or paired with lipstick. They can even help tone down bright colors. They are shiny and moisturizing. They have quite a few colors and the price is great. I don't see a reason to buy high end glosses when I can get a great one for much cheaper and it's much more readily available.

There's only been one marker type lip stain that I could stand - (NYC) but no matter the brand, without something over the top, they are super drying. The Covergirl brand is also streaky and gross. Most of Covergirl's products have horrible tastes/smell. I don't know why that can't make products that don't taste bad. Stay away from this one.

I like how quickly it is to get moisturized with this product. You do get over spray, so it's not a good idea to use it on a hard floor. I don't know if it will build up on carpet over time, but it can't be worse than some other things that may wind up on your carpet. It absorbs quickly but leaves your skin feeling moisturized. I can see this as a great summer moisturizer. Nice and light. It also has a light smell that isn't special, but it's not unpleasant. If you like thick lotions, this won't be for you. The spray is nice, but once you get the lotion on your hands it's hard to use. It would be nice if it have a better grip or a trigger type spray. I find that you can spray it on your back as well, but unless you are super flexible, it's hard to rub in. ha haa! The texture of the lotion is smooth and milky - of course it has to be to come out of a spray. It would be great if they came out with some yummy scents. I did get this free to try from Total Beauty, but I think - especially in the summer - I would purchase this. I would also recommend it to anyone who hates taking the time to put lotion on - or would like to use lotion but your morning routine is limited.
