I wanted to love this sunscreen because I'm a fan of Drunk Elephant and their approach to products, but it just didn't work that well for me. The formula is incredibly lightweight, and though it's tinted, all skin colors could use this because the tint is quite subtle. My skin type is normal-to-oily, and for me this was just too greasy. When I wore this under makeup, I felt like I had to pile on a bunch of powder. However, I could see this being a good choice for dry skin, as it does lend a dewy glow. Oh, and a little goes a long way.

This product is really good for adding texture and some wave to hair -- without enlisting a blow-dryer. I add a dollop all over my wet hair and scrunch it a little. When it dries, my hair is slightly messy and wavy, which is a good look for summer. It also seems to be a good way to add texture before styling hair. My one complaint: It does leave hair looking more frizzy than smooth. But if you're going for straight-up texture, you'll be happy.

I love this stuff! First, it's so much fun to use (it comes out like a shaving cream), and I appreciate that I don't have to lather -- it's already foamed up and ready to go. Plus, a little goes a long way. Then there's the scent. It's got a slightly fruity, slightly floral scent that manages not to be cloying. Seems to leave my skin soft, too.

This stuff totally smells like summer (it's gotta be the coconut), and dispenses a nice fine mist, which isn't always the case for setting sprays. I think this performs well -- though admittedly, I haven't really put it through the ringer yet -- but I don't think this would replace my MAC Prep + Prime.

This is my new go-to BB cream! I love it. First, I'm on a big mineral sunscreen kick right now (trying to cut certain chemicals from my beauty diet), so I love that this has mineral sunscreen in it. And it's got other skin-friendly ingredients that make me feel good about applying it. In addition, I find the consistency really appealing. This stuff leaves my skin feeling hydrated and looking slightly luminous -- and yet it still provides some coverage, so I don't feel totally naked when I wear it. I often wear it instead of foundation (with powder for a more finished look, without for a more natural look), but sometimes I'll wear it as a primer under foundation. My only tiny complaint: Initially I found the tube took several pumps before dispensing product, but that issue seems to have resolved itsef. Overall, I'd recommend. I can already tell I'm going to be sad when I empty this product.

I've been using this product every morning for a few weeks, and I do think that it's helped my complexion some, particularly, when it comes to clearing up redness. It feels really nice on the skin and has that lovely signature La Prairie smell. Oh, and it looks pretty sleek sitting on my bathroom shelf. However, this product does come with a $500 price tag, which is hard to swallow. And though I've seen results, I'm not sure if they quite merit such a steep cost. If you can afford it, go for it. But if not, there are other serums and procedures that will give you more bang for your buck/immediate and definitive results.

I don't have anything bad to say about this product, but I don't know if I can claim to have seen the amazing results the trial participants did. I've been using this product consistently for a few weeks now, and it's not clear if my under-eye area looks visibly brighter and firmer, but I do think that this eye cream is doing something, and I generally find vitamin C to be a reliable ingredient in my skin care products. I also really like the dispenser. In conclusion, I can't claim an amazing transformation, but I do like this product enough to continue to use it.

Garnier Fructis SkinActive Moisture Bomb The Super Hydrating Sheet Mask - Mattifying
Good Bang for Your Buck!
For $3, this mask wasn't bad at all -- it performed probably as well as masks that are two, three or four times its price. I found that it was easy to use (having the removable backing be blue instead of white is such a small but helpful detail) and fit my face well. While on, the mask felt nice and cooling. After the designated 15 minutes, I found that my skin looked nice and the mask had, indeed, produced a mattifying effect, while also adding some moisture to my skin. However, my skin did feel a little tacky (which is something I experience with more masks than not). Though overall this mask didn't change my life, I give it points for how well it performed for the price.

I totally understand why this product has been selling out like crazy -- it might be my ideal summer moisturizer. Living up to its title, this gel melts onto your face, immediately dousing it with hydration that lasts through the day (or night). It's incredibly refreshing and lightweight. I have normal-to-oily skin, so I prefer a lightweight moisturizer that I know isn't going to clog my pores, but those with dry skin might find that this doesn't provide enough moisture. One other note: It might not be the best pick for those sensitive to smells. I found the scent to be pretty and uplifting, so it didn't bother me (I quite enjoy the experience of applying and wearing it), but the fragrance is on the stronger side.

This brush is so soft and fluffy, but it's also conveniently tapered, which is helpful for setting my under-eye concealer or applying powder between my brows. And it's only $8!
