This is a really interesting product. You apply it to your face and then get in the shower. While you're there, the steam "activates" the mask, and indeed, you can feel a refreshing tingle that lets you know it's working. Problem is, it's just so impractical to slather on a mask and then go about your shower without getting your face wet. Between washing and conditioning my hair, I couldn't help but get some water on my face, which made the mask run in my eyes, which kind of hurt. I will say that my skin looked and felt good after use, but I don't think it did anything more than a good acid cleanser would. In short: Not worth the trouble.

This gentle cleanser is a great option for dry and sensitive skin. And at $15, it's affordable.

I liked this a lot in theory. The oil base does help make skin feel soft and look glowy. My biggest gripe with this product is that the exfoliating beads clung to my face so tightly it took forever to rinse this scrub off my face. I think I'd prefer a body version of this product.

As advertised, this was incredibly weightless. Like, I could not feel it on, which was kind of incredible. The price is also a plus. The only con is the signature Hawaiian Tropic coconut scent, which I don't find unpleasant, but it is very strong.

OK, maybe it's because this appealed to the Francophile in me, but I really liked this body wash. First of all, the gigantic bottle only costs $5 (which really surprised me!), and the cotton and poppy scent was subtle and lovely. It seemed to leave my skin soft. Tres chic!

This savory, peppery, exotic perfume definitely stands out of the crowd. I think it'll be a hit with those looking for something outside the fresh/floral/musk box. The staying power was not great.

This product gets the job done. It moisturizes my skin, and I liked the whipped texture. The fruity smell isn't bad either.

The grapefruit scent was incredibly invigorating, and as you'd expect from a body oil, this product did successfully nourish my parched legs. My only gripes are: 1) if you don't love body oils (and the slippery finish they leave behind), this isn't for you 2) The instructions say you can use one to two drops, but I had to use much, much more in order to adequately apply it. And because it comes in such a small bottle, I feel like I'm going to burn through this stuff quickly.

This body balm smelled like a delicious coconut mocha latte that I wanted to guzzle immediately. The texture, as you might expect, was much thicker and oilier than a lotion. The finish was as though I'd applied a body oil. It left a bit of a slippery sheen and took a while to soak in. However, I do feel like it made my skin softer.

I think I've been spoiled by all of the full-coverage foundations that feel nearly weightless because, while this certainly delivers on coverage, it also feels like a heavy-duty foundation. True to what I expected, it concealed blemishes and uneven skin tone, but I didn't love the way it sunk into my forehead creases. Perhaps better left for those with youthful skin?
