I think this oil-based, skin-care-meets-makeup foundation is a great option for those with dry skin and those who do not need a ton of coverage because it's quite sheer. However, it's crazy hydrating! Unlike pretty much every foundation I've ever tried, this stuff moisturized my skin all. day. long.

This was a fairly subtle highlighter, if you're looking for just a bit of a dewy look. I don't love cream highlighters, so I probably would not repurchase this.

Burberry delivers on the velvet part -- this lipstick does, indeed, feel velvety on. Great pigment, pretty matte finish and gorgeous colors. Tends to wear off more quickly than other longwear liquids, but it's also more comfortable.

This lipstick really holds up for hours -- even through eating and drinking. However, I found it to be really drying. Even though my lipstick was still in place, I found myself wanting to layer lip balms and oils over the color to soothe my parched lips.

This is a handy brush for blending foundation. The compact bristles work well, but don't feel too rough.

Also just rating the mascara: This mascara definitely lengthens lashes (when I wore it, I got compliments on the length of my lashes), but it didn't give me the volume I usually look for in a mascara.

The color range in this is like a UD Smoky Palette-lite dupe. I liked the soft colors and mix of shimmer and matte finishes. The brush was surprisingly OK. However, I found the shadows themselves had almost zero stay-power.

So the good first: If you're looking for a super basic nude palette, this will get the job done. The eye shadow formula was what you'd expect from UD: Pigmented and silky with some fall-out. Now, for my gripes: I would steer anyone interested in this palette away from it and toward ANY of UD's other palettes. I know it's supposed to be basic, but there was just nothing really fun about this palette. It's a pretty limited range of matte colors, and the brush wasn't nearly as good as the one that comes with other UD palettes (too compact; not good for blending).

This powder was fine. I don't think it worked any miracles, but it got the job done. I think I prefer a loose powder because it was tricky to get enough powder on my brush.
