The Kiss colored nails are fun and easy and I get many compliments on them. The only thing I don't like is that some of the colors use a clear nail bed instead of a pink nail bed and the clear beds aren't as natural looking and have a little bit of a brittle feel to them. I file to shape each nail to fit from the bottoma nd when I filed the nails with the clear beds, they tended to turn white and bend on me. I still love my Kiss nails and think they are the best brand on the market. When I use Kiss nail glue, I can wear a set of nails for 12 days on average... and I've been wearing them for over 5 years now. No acrylics here - just Kiss!

I color my hair monthly and use unconventional hair coloring (like Manic Panic) and other brands from beauty supply stores and I was looking for a deep conditioner that worked as well as the little packets you get with boxed hair coloring... and this is even better! It smells wonderful and really makes your hair feel like silk even after abusing it with color, bleach, chunking and hair dryers. I wouldn't try any other deep conditioner after finding this perfect solution to dry, crunchy hair. The Aussie Moist line is just amazing and this little conditioner is a miracle!

For gals with spiky do's like mine, you need a strong hairspray that isn't afraid to face humidity, wind and rain... and this stuff stands up to all of them and truly works. I used to use other high-end hairsprays that would run $15 a can and this works even better! It makes your style stay put and allows some movement and 'refreshers' because I can still run my hands thru my hair to fluff it up. The best part, THIS hairspray washes out easily and doesn't require 2-3 washings like some red can stuff does. Totally worth the $2.75! I haven't used anything else since I found this about a year ago

This is the best volumizing mousse I have ever tried. It makes my spiky 'do' almost too volumized at times! I alos use the John Frieda Root boosting gel after the mousse or sometimes just alone and both products are amazing. If you want volume, fullness, shine and lightweight control, THIS is the mousse to do it! Amazing line of products... I haven't been disappointed with any product from JF yet!

Garnier Fructis Fortifying 2-in-1 Anti-Dandruff Shampoo & Conditioner
It's a decent shampoo, but not for dandruff
I have colored hair that has a tendency to flake especially after coloring. When I tried this shampoo, it didn't help my flakes at all, actually, with the same coloring I've been using for over a year, actually created more flakes. It did strip my color quite a bit which was disappointing. It left my hair soft and shiny, but did nothing for my flakes.

This dry shampoo left behind more than just a sticky reside, it left behind a "goo" like substance which was almost impossible to shampoo out. It left my scalp itching so badly and I had to get up in the middle of the night and wash this stuff out of my hair so I could sleep because the itchiness and gunk was so annoying. Definitely pass on this one.....

These little paint pots are amazing! I'm a photographer and so I have a camera up to my eye a lot and by the end of a wedding or a family shoot, I was left sweating and minus all eye makeup, so I set out on a quest to find TRULY WATERPROOF eye makeup (including shadow, eye liner and mascara). So of course I turned to Total Beauty and found my forever shadow base and eye shadow in one with MAC reviews. The paint pots literally last thru photo shoots, sweating, swimming, and even lasted after 3 hours of non-stop crying at a recent memorial. I usually use a lighter shade as a highlighter as a base and along my brow line and use a more vibrant color (like Rubinesque) as a 2nd color on my lids and crease to make my green eyes pop. If I want to go bolder, I use the same highliting color (like Bare Study) and then add a bit of my own miscellaneous eye shadow colors and even if they are dollar store cheapies, they do not budge. It literally makes every shadow I have a heavy-duty shadow without ANY creasing or fading. I even use it as a bit of a under eye circle concealer to give my eyes a brighter look. I also jot down the dates on when I buy a great makeup product, and these paint pots, even with every day wear, can last you an entire year. They last ten times longer than any chubby eye pencil out there and outlast all the cream shadows I've tried over the past 5 years. I also found out that many theater performers use these as well to make sure their elaborate make-up stays put. At their affordable price (considering they last you a year), you cannot go wrong. I've tried several other brands of primers and shadow bases and none of them compare to MAC. So whether you're using them as a shadow base or an actual eye color, they rock. You couple it with the MAC Liquid/Fluid line eye liner and you have TOTALLY waterproof and sweatproof eye makeup - IDEAL for weddings or a long work day where you can almost guarantee that you won't need a touch up!

This is the best stain I've found yet before switching over to the more pricey department store stuff. It doesn't dry your lips as badly as other drug store stains do and actually holds up to a nice lip gloss over top of it. The only down side is that I bought one that was sealed but already dried out, so after an exchange, I now store them upside down to keep the marker tip saturated and ready to go, otherwise, you might not get the full effect. The colors are nice, I wish they had a better selection of non-pink hues.

I took the plunge in trying a cheap product and I got what I paid for with this. It went on very heavy and it was difficult to control the amount of product you can put on. I tried a blending brush, my fingers and a sponge to apply and none of them made a difference in the precision. It didn't stay put as long as I was hoping either. I think their MAC-like shadow pots are a much better investment and last much longer than this stick, even thru sweaty days.

I love the nails and will not be caught without them, so I decided to try the toe nail kit since I couldn't bend over and paint and touch up and paint some more after I had brain surgery. With these little beauties, you can have a pedicure within 15 minutes that look even better than hand painted french tips. They literally lasted me almost 4 weeks. The give-away, they were gapping because my regular nails were growing out. Believe it or not, they still didn't lift. The Kiss nail glue rocks and makes a huge difference. If the sizes aren't a perfect fit, I trim and file them from the bottom so I don't lose the white french tips. And yes, the DO stay on in the winter when you can't wear flip flops or sandals. I got away with these for 6 months total until I could bend over again and paint my toes... but honestly, they look better with the Kiss glue-on nails than my hand painting, so I'm going to choose and file the correct sizes and paint them one of my favorite colors then apply them. If you are on a budget and want your nails to look great, Kiss nails and toe nails are perfect and I guarantee you will get many compliments and have women ask where you got your nails done.... it happens to me all the time
