I used to use Arrid Extra, Extra Dry back in the day, in middle school. It had been years since I had used it and I have been on a mission for an effective deodorant so I decided to give it a whirl. I've always been a fan of spray deodorants. They smell great and feel really cooling, especially during the sweltering summer. I read that any deodorant is more effective if you put it on at night time and that's usually when I shower, so that's when I tried it. It seemed to work overnight, although I was sleeping and not doing much else. I woke up dry and feeling fresh. I added a couple of spritzes in the morning. I am an active person and I work in a classroom so I am definitely in the hot seat and Arrid Extra Extra Dry did not live up to it's name. I had visible sweat rings on my shirt and my underarms were pretty damp. I did like the price and the smell, but as far as it doing it's job, it didn't. I have tried several clinical strength and mens deodorants with unsuccessful results, so it could be that I just sweat excessively. Still it did not leave me feeling confident and I almost thought about carrying the big can in my purse, then I decided not to. I guess I'll try something else.

This cream is kinda thick and a little greasy, more for seriously dry skin and I would use it during the winter time. It does stay on through repeated washings and leaves skin soft and smooth. It has a light, fresh scent. I would use it coat my feet after showering then sleep with socks on. Your feet will feel amazing in the am!

I have semi-curly/wavy hair and it is hard to find products that define my waves without making it frizzy or tangled. Usually my hair looks neither straight nor curly. Just kind of undone. I needed something to clearly define my hair situation. My hair is also extremely long (waist length) so I really need something that works. I was pleasantly surprised by this product. It smells amazing and it gives me just the right amount of hold. My hair looked and smelled amazing and I will buy this product again.

I love this lipstick with a smoky eye! The nude color is subtle and super natural and it has a hint of sheen without being too matte. I love this lipstick and will continue purchasing it in the future. I also love MAC because they encourage recycling. If you bring in 6 empty MAC containers, they will give you a free lipstick, eyeshadow, or lip gloss.

This product smells great! It reminds me of something I used to use. I like it better as a mask because it absorbs excess oil and helps shrink pimples. It doesn't foam up so I didn't really like it as a cleanser. I'd recommend it more as a mask than a cleanser. The directions say to leave the mask on for a minute then to rinse it off. That's not long enough for me so I tend to leave it on for a few hours, sometimes overnight. It hasn't completely healed my acne but it has made it a little better.

I am currently on a mission to find an effective deodorant and have not been successful. I sweat excessively and I am very active so it has been an issue lately, especially now that it is summer time. I have used other Secret products without success but I had high expectations for this product as it is supposed to be one of the best clinical strength formulations. The directions say to put it on at night before bed time. I usually shower at night anyway so this worked for me. The smell is nice and citrusy and I was confident that it would work. Unfortunately I was let down. I went on my morning walk and halfway through my armpits were ridiculously damp. I was actually sweating through my shirt! By the time I got back home I could smell my own sweat so I know it definitely was not working. If you know you sweat heavily I wouldn't recommend this product. This stuff wasn't cheap either it was $10 and a waste of money.

I am super impressed with this lotion and it is a wonderful product for the price. The bottle is huge and costs around $7 at Walmart. It smells great, leaves skin soft and smooth, and one bottle lasts for months. There are several different scents in this line. I have tried a couple and loved them both! The Coconut Milk and Orchid Extract is my favorite. It smells delicious and is very moisturizing without being too heavy or greasy. It also has natural ingredients and is formulated without animal products or testing which is really important. I will definitely buy this product again!

I usually use hair removal cream or my old school hot wax but I decided to try these because they seemed quicker and less messy. You should always only wax clean, dry skin. You take the strips (they're cut to size) and rub them in your hands to warm up the wax. Then you place a strip on your skin rubbing back and fourth to ensure it grips all of the hair. Then with one hand you hold your skin down as you pull off the strip (against the direction of hair growth). I was pleased with the results. I was a little red after, but the kit includes a soothing oil that you apply after waxing to calm the redness. I was pleased with these strips and thought that they did a great job. Not sure of the regrowth factor yet as I just used them. I used them to wax my chin and upper lip but the kit says you can also use them on your eyebrows and bikini area, although I find them oddly shaped for eyebrows. They were quick and easy and appeared to remove the majority of my facial hair. I will be buying again.

I have tried almost everything available to clear up my acne including lasers, Retin-A, prescription antibiotics, chemical peels, and every OTC product under the sun. This product does shrink large pimples and the painful cystic variety however it does not clear up acne. It contains 10% benzoyl peroxide which is the highest concentration available and it does a good job of clearing skin up quickly. I apply a thin layer at night and sometimes in the day as well if my skin is very broken out (which it usually is). It says on the bottle not to apply this immediately after other acne treatments so I recommend skipping the toner and using a gently cleanser. (I use Dove for sensitive skin) It is very drying so you should also use plenty of moisturizer. I used to use this back in the day too and it wasn't as harsh on my super oily teenage skin. Now it hurts a little bit, kind of dry and tight. It also makes my skin flake so exfoliating is important. It was pretty cheap I think around $5 for a 1oz tube at Walmart. I wish they could keep the strength but make it more moisturizing. If they did I'd probably give it a 10.

I have heard a lot of hype about BB creams but most of them are really overpriced. When I saw this for about $11 I was willing to give it a try. First of all it is a beauty balm, similar to a tinted moisturizer so there is not that much coverage. I was pleasantly surprised however that it actually evened out my skin tone and made me look more "awake". It has sunscreen in it which I always a plus and it is thin and blends in fairly well. One downside is the color range is seriously lacking. I have olive toned skin and thankfully the medium/deep color works for me. Another downside is that the product is very thin and leaks out into the cap so I keep the bottle upside down to avoid this. There are some beneficial ingredients in this product and while it claims to absorb oil I still had to do my mid-day blot as usual. Overall for the price it was good and I would probably purchase it again.
