I'm not sure I saw much of a difference or "exfoliating" from this product. The beads are far too sparse and lubricated to really have any kind of exfoliating effect at all. However I don't wear makeup often (1 -2 times a week at most) so my skin doesn't really get gunked up and gunked on to really be able to give a review on the ability of this product to cleanse. My pores do seem to be a tiny bit smaller when I use it consistently but then I'm unsure if it's just because I'm using any product at all and just splashing water on my face a couple times a day when I'm not wearing make up. Perhaps I'm just use to "scrubs" actually feeling like they were scrubbing rather than cleansing. On the plus side, it rinses off well unlike many face products where you feel you have to really work to get it off . I probably won't buy it again but I'm not hating it either.

I received a free sample of this from my aesthetician after having microdermabrasion, a peel, and LED light therapy a couple of times before my wedding. She used it as part of the treatment and then encouraged me to use it at home. Though it felt (and smelt) nice, the warming sensation is soothing, I am not sure if it actually did what it was suppose to do since I was having so many other treatments at the time. I have since used it and not seen a significant difference in my skin. I am curious as to why it was discontinued, though.

After reading some of the reviews on here, I decided to give this a go for my wedding day. I can't tell you how afraid i was that whatever product I used would be inadequate and someone would want to hug me and be met with icky smell. I followed the directions and applied it after my bath the night before my wedding and I'm happy to tell you that it was working even on the day AFTER my wedding. Believe me girls, this stuff WORKS! WELL worth any added cost, by far!

Two and a half months ago I got married. For the wedding I had gotten a set of acrylics. I use to wear them all of the time and only had stopped in the most recent years so I decided I was going to keep having them done. However after the first balance/fill I realized that my current lifestyle was just not conducive to having acrylic nails so I went to the salon to have them remove them. If you haven't had this done, they soak your fingers in acetone for 15-20 minutes, then file away at the top softened layers of acrylics and repeat this step until there is no more acrylic left. Unfortunately this dries your real nails and your cuticles out horridly. The nail tech recommended I get some cuticle cream to combat the dryness and I left. After a a week or so of not using any cream I started getting hangnails on all of my fingers. A day or two later and I had so many that my fingers were actually sore. A quick trip to the local Target for something unrelated had me glance down the nail care isle and spot this. Needing to be quick I only skimmed the package and snatched it up and boy am I glad I did! After only 2 days of using it 2x a day, the hangnails have stopped appearing and the ones that were already there are repairing at an amazing rate. I have never been more amazed with a product. It's simply wonderful and you don't even use a half a pea sized dab on each finger so the 1/2 oz jar will last me a long long time! I couldn't be more satisfied with this product. I only give it a 9 instead of a 10 because I haven't had experience with many other cuticle creams to compare it to.

I have to admit I haven't had much experience with home hair coloring, however after a trip to the salon cost me $120 with no real noticeable color difference, I decided to try the "at home" route and this is the product I purchased. I chose a color that, according to the box, would give my dark brown hair a nice, warm cinnamon red hint. The directions tell you to not get the colorant on your scalp but it also then tells you to use the tip of the bottle to part and color your hair at the roots and then to either comb or otherwise work the colorant into your roots and evenly distribute throughout. Maybe this is something accomplished more aptly with practice but I felt it nearly impossible to both keep the colorant off my scalp but at my roots. What I ended up with was essentially spotty coloring near my roots and on my scalp both. I am simply happy that my hair is dark enough that it's not grossly apparent. I also found the color to be more purple-ish in hue than a natural, dark cinnamon. I haven't used the glaze yet but I'm hoping that will even out my coloring a bit better.

When I first purchased this mascara I had high hopes for it as I had liked most of the skin care products I had used in the past. At first application I loved it. It wasn't clumpy, it seemed to separate my lashes well, and added adequate body and length to my less-than-naturally-desirable lashes. However, I hadn't owned it long, and had used it very few times before I noticed increasing thickness in the mascara itself, sticking my lashes together and becoming clumpy a little more with every application. It also seems to wear off a bit too easy. All in all I'm fairly disappointed with this particular Neutrogena product, especially given my previous good experiences with their skin care products.

Maybelline New York ExpertWear Eye Shadow 8 Pan
Cakes too quickly, colors don't quite compliment each other
I bought this product not too long ago looking to save some money on eye color while deciding which mineral based make up to purchase. I can only say that I'm happy that the decision didn't take long because this "Expert Wear" didn't take long at all before the colors, which don't really compliment each other very well but gave a fair range of choices, started developing that sheen to the surfaces that are common to eye products of lower quality. The one plus that it seems to have, besides color range, is that for me at least it held up fairly well in my cosmetic tote that I take with me for touch ups when going to be out for awhile.

While BareMinerals products seem to be something people either really love or really don't, I feel that had I reviewed this product when I first got it my review wouldn't be as favorable. The key, I've found, is in really taking your time the first few times and making sure your skin is fresh and moisturized. As I am getting married in 2 1/2 weeks, I wanted to try out a mineral based foundation since I had read many reviews claiming the look to be very natural. I found a beauty supply shop in my local mall that sales people demonstrated how to apply BareMinerals. I didn't buy anything at first because I had read a few people had experienced some skin irritation and wanted to leave the product on my face for the day and see for myself. While I was there, interestingly enough, girl after girl with seemingly flawless skin would stop in, walk straight to the BareMinerals department and pick up a couple of products, purchase them and leave. Two even stopped to comment to me about how much they loved BareMinerals when they saw me getting my make-up done. Having worn liquid foundation all my life I wasn't quite prepared for the look or the feel of a powder on my face. But as the day wore on and my finish stayed on (even though the representative had put it on VERY lightly) I grew evermore impressed. After some consideration I decided to give it a try. At first I wasn't happy with the results putting it on myself. It made some areas of my face look a bit dry and it didn't seem to cover up areas as well as I had remembered. However over the next week I had microdermabrasion for the first time and started a proper moisturizing regime, and took my time applying my new BareMinerals foundation. I am happy to say that I now LOVE this product. It truly looks more natural than any other foundation I've ever used, stays on much longer, and conceals blemishes almost as if by magic. I am now a true BareMinerals die hard fan. The only downside I can see is that it doesn't travel well and I fear I'll quickly become addicted to the different looks, I'll soon run out of room and money!

I'm still fairly new to mineral based foundations/make ups and BareMinerals Mineral Veil has made the experience not only rewarding, but easy! I use it after applying BareMinerals foundation both as a foundation and a concealer, and BareMinerals Warm All Over and it simply pulls everything together in one flawless finish. After a slight learning curve it becomes very easy to apply without feeling heavy or like it's drying your skin out and it's staying power is simply extraordinary. I couldn't be happier with this product.
