I have very straight, thin hair that doesn't like to hold any sign of a curl for more than a couple hours so I was very eager to try this after reading the reviews. I could not have had a worse experience. The first time I used it I followed the directions on the spray and my hair was COMPLETELY flat within minutes of curling it. MINUTES. In fact I was so disappointed that after returning from dinner with our friends I looked it up to make sure I had gotten the name right. I read some more thorough reviews that made a couple of minor tweeks to the application process of it. Hoping that these tweeks were the answer to a successful experience, I tried again last night and though I could not have believed it possible, my hair kept it's curl for even LESS time than the first. It also has completely dried/damaged my hair and has even stripped the color a bit. I'm glad this product works so well for other people, I just wish I knew some of them in real life so that I could give them an entire bottle of the stuff - I won't be putting it on my hair again ever.

Though I only have two other brushes (Flawless Face and Max Coverage Concealer) by BareMinerals, without a doubt this one is my favorite of the lot. Coverage seems to go on more evenly for me with the Kabuki Brush than the Flawless Face, and it blends any pre-foundation concealing I may have applied with the Max Coverage Concealer nearly effortlessly. I love it so much I also use it to apply my Mineral Veil which gives my face a natural yet almost airbrushed finish. The ONLY thing that I would consider as a possible improvement is that if it fit better into the caps of the foundations/veils/blushes. I might be tempted to purchase the Baby Kabuki if I run out of other BareMineral products I want first!

After trying Aveeno's daily moisturizer with 30 SPF and breaking out in a huge rash from it, I wanted to find another daily moisturizer with 30 SPF. Most of Olay's products I've been fairly pleased with so I was excited to give this a try. Meh.. That's my reaction.. That's it. And with the price that was attached to this you'd think it should be "WOW". It doesn't seem to absorb into my skin as well as other daily moisturizers with lower SPFs and comparable (or even lower) price tags, it doesn't seem to moisturize as well as other daily moisturizers with lower SPF and comparable (or even lower) price tags, and there certainly has been NO "age repair" as promised right on the bottle. The one nice feature is that the scent doesn't seem to be AS heavy in this Olay product as some of their others. I won't be purchasing this again.

I used and loved Nexxus products for years before moving the 45+ miles to be with my (now) husband several years ago. I have very fine, frail hair (medium thinness) and Nexxus was (and remains to this day) the only product that ever made my hair soft and resistant to damage. Even though my stylist didn't sell Nexxus products she insisted I continue using them and she'd schedule extra time simply to play with my "kitten soft" hair... a hair stylist - that touches hair all day long! For awhile after moving down to be with my husband, due to unforeseen tragic circumstances, I was forced to try to find a lest costly alternative. My hair hated every single attempt. In fact it was breaking and feeling so scratchy vs the strong, elastic soft hair that Nexxus brought me I was convinced it couldn't be JUST the shampoo/conditioners, that it had to be a change in the water, too. But here I am, back with my beloved Nexxus products, years later and after many even more expensive alternatives and my hair is once again kitten soft. Color Ensure also keeps my color VERY well, better than any other conditioner for color treated hair I've bought, and it doesn't weigh my hair down like most products. Within days of using it and it's shampoo counterpart, the years of damage my hair had suffered from NOT using it seemed to just simply melt away. I LOVE this product. My ONLY complaint is that I wish it came in a bigger bottle than the thirteen and a half oz bottle or that I didn't have to use as much of it as I do (only SLIGHTLY more than a "normal" amount, however) :)

I have yet to find something better ... and have no reason to try!

Maybelline New York Expert Eyes Moisturizing Eye Makeup Remover
It works.. If you don't mind losing your eyelashes
Before my wedding, while I was practicing the vows that I had written, it became apparent to me that I was going to have to get waterproof mascara that was darned near bulletproof. Faced with being unsure of how to remove waterproof mascara as I've never worn it before, I saw this in the store and grabbed it as I was passing by the make-up isle on the way to check out. This stuff gunks up your eyes so bad I had to wash my eyes twice to get the oil off of them. I wear contacts and any oil around my eyes will eventually be IN my eyes. As for how effective it was in removing the makeup? After some scrubbing I did notice the waterproof mascara coming off but I also noticed that the pressure from scrubbing had also removed some of my eyelashes! I quit using it immediately.

I have been using this stuff for YEARS and absolutely have refused to live without it since using it the first time! Even when times were hard, this was the one "splurge" I afforded myself. It keeps me soft and I've NEVER felt greasy or like I had to use a ton of it to get the desired results. One pump per leg is all I need, another for my entire upper body! With that kind of coverage one bottle lasts forever! I only wish it came it various scents! :)

We've all read, and bought, lipsticks that promised to stay on through meals, kissing, drinks, what have you. Let me tell you, ladies, this one delivers what it promises. I've been looking for a good replacement to my every day lipstick and the color of this seemed like it might be a good match. When I got home I applied it right on the minute I sat down, without a mirror. Boy what a mistake that was. A TINY bit outside of the lines and by the time I got to the restroom mere seconds afterward to check the color, I could NOT correct the mistake. While the color wasn't as good on me as I would have hoped for, even just the color does have a pleasant smell and the gloss is a nice consistency and has a nice aroma to it as well. Since putting it on I've eaten a dinner of pizza, drank several glasses of water and showered my 4 year old with kisses and it's still going strong, and unfortunately so are the mistakes. Use this WITH CAUTION, but if you find a color you like and have a steady hand, one application may very well last you all day long.

I've been using Bare Escentuals for about two years now and for awhile now have noticed the mica in it drawing attention to my pore size and other imperfections and have been looking for a mica free 100% mineral powder with good reviews to replace it with. However, the search has been hard and I decided I couldn't continue using my BE (at least solely) so I picked this up at the drug store on a whim while waiting for a script for my son. While it doesn't seem to work as well at acting as a concealer type foundation powder like BE does, it DEFINITELY seems to not only not draw attention to my pore size and other imperfections, it actually does a wonderful job at helping them to nearly disappear to the eye. I now have been using a combination of my BE (as a concealer primarily) and this until I can find something to replace them that is natural. This duo combined with my new primer and I feel like I've dropped 10 years!

I was looking for a daily moisturizer to replace my Olay with SPF 15. I am just starting to see some sun/age discoloration in my cheeks and this has given me a reality check that my skin needs more than an SPF of 15. After doing some research and seeing some say that this product had lightened their skin and even their skin tone on TOP of the SPF 30, I was quite excited to try it. I applied it according to directions, somewhat sparingly according to reviews I had read, before taking my son to the zoo for the day. I didn't notice any real change in the appearance of my skin but I just thought "oh well, it's got an SPF of 30 and a moisturizer so you can't have everything." What I did notice was the strong fragrance. But after only just three hours or so I noticed my skin didn't feel as soft/moist as usual and parts of my face were starting to itch. When we got home I washed my face and just left it for the night. Two days have passed and it has been HORRIBLE. My entire face is covered in a large angry red rash with hives so large I look like I'm suffering from *severe*severe* acne problems and the itching is quite uncomfortable. Let me state I DO NOT HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN. This is the first and ONLY time I've ever had a reaction of any kind to any kind of product at all. I'm quite miserable and extremely unhappy as my husband and I are due to leave on vacation and I have a horrid rash all over my face. I will be calling their customer complaint line tomorrow as this product is suppose to be hypoallergenic and is quite obviously NOT.
