Here are all my reviews:
  • Maybelline New York Great Lash Washable Mascara

I'm not one of those women who are rabid fans of this mascara. I don't find it to be spectacular at all. It does nothing for my shorter lashes, and is not durable and long lasting enough for me (humidity smudging). I'd rather spend a few extra bucks and head to MAC. The price tag doesn't sway me.

  • Jergens Original Scent Cherry-Almond Moisturizer

Who hasn't had an older female family member who used to slather this on their hands?! It's a great lotion with a comforting scent.

  • OPI Nail Lacquer

I love OPI's bright and bold colors. Essie is a great brand for classic and conservative colors, but OPI is on top of the game in terms of trendy and fresh colors. Whether you are experimenting with new looks or trying to make a fashion statement, all of these colors are rich and vibrant and high quality. It goes on like a dream- smooth and evenly. The new brush is spectacular as well. Doesn't dry particularly quickly, but worth the wait. I can usually go 4-5 days with minimal chipping. I love it.

  • John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Luminous Color Glaze

I wish John Frieda would recognize that some people have darker shades than "brilliant brunette". I used this for my natural onyx black hair and didn't see much of a difference. There was a little bit of extra shine and changed the texture of my hair slightly, but did nothing to enhance the color of it. I've had better results using plain old Pantene midnight expressions conditioner! And also, like some of the other reviewers said, it's messy to use even in the shower. It stains your hands temporarily and can even stain your white shower curtains/tiles if you are not careful. Not worth the effort or the money.

  • Pantene Pro-V Midnight Expressions Daily Color Enhancing Shampoo

I've used this shampoo, as well as the accompanying conditioner. Doesn't deposit any color, but somehow enhances the darkness and richness of my hair. No idea how it works, but it works well, so I won't question it. :) Doesn't dry out my locks and leaves it shiny and healthy. I love it!

  • Olay Age Defying Anti-Wrinkle Night Cream

Although the price on the high end in terms of drug store brands, it's worth the money. I've only bought this cream once, but it was very good. Sinks into the skin very quickly and you can see the results within weeks, in terms of firmness. Don't know if it would work on lessening the appearance of wrinkles, but it certainly is an effective prevention cream.

  • Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream Face Moisturizer

Got this on impulse at the drugstore. I usually use a whole array of Clinique products, but felt curious to try this one out, as per all the good reviews online and in magazines. So far, so good. The smell is fantastic, and it sinks into your skin pretty quickly. It really does work in plumping the skin (although temporarily), and making it look firmer and healthier and more radiant. I'd prefer to use it as a nightcream though. It doesn't leave a completely matte finish to your skin, so it doesn't work well with my skin type under makeup.

  • TIGI Catwalk Big & Bigger

Wow! This is by far the best volumizing foam I have ever used! I think I've found a new holy grail in terms of products to make big hair. A tiny bit of this on wet hair does wonders, especially when you blow dry upside down. The volume last all day without ever being too heavy or weighed down from product residue. Nice scent too. I love it!!

  • TIGI Catwalk Curls Rock Curl Booster

I've never tried this brand and got a couple of products at Ricky's on a whim this past week. I've been testing them out and am disappointed with this one. Doesn't really do much for my hair type, but apparently works well according to the other reviews. Sort of weighed my hair down and didn't accentuate any sort of wave or curl for me. My hair also felt like their was a lot of build-up in it, not touchable at all.

  • Tigi Bed Head Manipulator
    8.0

    Tigi Bed Head Manipulator

Be careful not to go overboard

...go very very very easy on this product in terms of the amount you put in your hair. Very easy to go from texturized to greasy and heavy. I would imagine it would look pretty terrible on someone with very fine hair. Works well on updo hairstyles when you want to smooth down flyaways and little baby hairs and cowlicks, especially at the hair line.
