I am not sure how this works for building up volume in hair because my hair is naturally thick, in fact I try to weigh it down. But this is a very good conditioner, leaves hair soft and healthy feeling. It also smells amazing.

This is a decent spray gel and smells pretty good. It is lightweight and does not leave that usual crunchy gel texture. My only complaint is it does not help scrunch your hair like it is supposed to because it is too light.

This sticky gunk has that classic bedhead manipulator smell (like a pina colada?) and that is the only reason I use it. I rub the smallest amount possible in my hands and smooth over my finished style. It has hold but if you use too much it makes your hair stiff and dirty looking. This would be a good product for people with short hair who want to spike it, etc.

This doesn't really do much except leave hair stiff. I guess if that is what you are going for then this is perfect. Like most mousses, if you use too much it will flake.

I use this occasionally because it gives shine and I like the smell. But I found that if I follow the directions on the bottle (spray on dry sections and flat iron) my hair comes out stiff. It is an alright product but has too much of a hairspray-sticky consistency for my taste. Use lightly.

This makes hair soft and shiny but is very easy to over-use. It sometimes leaves a build-up. Personally I find serums to be more effective hair smoothers than shine milks.

This shampoo is one of my favorites and I have tried almost every salon brand out there. It leaves your hair smooth and a lot less frizzy than many shampoos. I use this followed by the All Soft heavy cream or with some biolage conditioner.
