Matrix thermal setting spray is a good heat protectant when you want a stiff type of hair style, like when using a curling iron for long lasting waves. You can use less of it and get a softer hold as well. I gave it a 7 because it kind of has a weird smell.

Frizz-Ease DownPlay Volume Reducer

ineffective

This didn't do anything at all... I didn't notice a decrease in volume and it doesn't even help with frizziness. The only good thing is it smells good.

Does what it says

Leaves hair nice and silky, and not weighed down or greasy. This is a good alternative to Redken All Soft if you are short on cash.

There are far better straighteners out there. This left my hair feeling too puffy and greasy, even when I used really small amounts.

This is my favorite drugstore mascara. It separates lashes and builds them up very nicely. The brush is perfect, doesn't leave clumps.

Biolage Hydratherapie Ultra-Hydrating Balm

Great

No matter what other conditioners I try, I always end up going back to this one. It quenches hair and does not leave a gross build-up. You only need to use a TINY bit so this tub goes a long way.

Biolage Smoothing Serum

Pretty good

This smoothing serum works great on my hair. It NEVER feels greasy and leaves my hair soft with very minimal frizz. Another plus is it protects against heat and is good to use with a flat iron or blow dryer.

Biolage Shine Renewal

pretty good

This is the shine spray I use the most. It is effective in delivering shine and does not weigh hair down or have a greasy feel (if you don't over-use it). Much better than Bedhead shine adrenaline or John Frieda gloss spray. Use shine renewal if you want a healthy shine without any sticky hold.

This is a thick creamy liquid eyeshadow primer that dries to a powder-like consistency. Eyeshadow won't budge with this under it. The jar is also really cute.

Neutrogena Deep Clean Invigorating Foaming Scrub

good face scrub

This is one of my favorite scrubs because I love the minty, tingly feeling it gives your face. It's as if you can really feel it working deep down. It works into a rich lather and the scrubbing beads help exfoliate your skin.
