I've been wearing L'Oreal's Voluminous Original Mascara for years. Once in a while I will try another L'Oreal mascara, and even a more expensive brand when I find one on sale, but I always come back to this one. It goes on well, lasts a long time, wears all day without flaking, comes with a great brush, and is affordable and available everywhere. I highly recommend it!

Lancome's Miracle is a lovely fragrance that I would wear more often if it weren't so expensive. Of course, most really beautiful fragrances ARE pricey, and Miracle is no exception. I enjoy wearing it but I feel obligated to make it last as long as possible.

POWDER BASE is a misnomer for this foundation because there is nothing powdery about it. It looks and feels good on skin that tends to be dry, or in cold weather months. I doubt that it will work as well as during the hot summer. Even in winter it tends to be a little wet. In any event, I have tried other Merle Norman foundations and this one is the best for the price.

This line of lip color is heavier than the usual sheers but lighter than the usual creamy lipsticks. It's somewhere in between. I love Sheer Latte! I like almost all the Ulta sheer shades and it shouldn't be difficult for anyone to find the perfect one. This one lasts longer than other sheers and when it does wear off, it wears off cleanly without leaving a discolored stain. It's every bit as good as any lipstick I've ever bought for a lot more money. Ulta Silky Wear Sheer Lipcolor wears fairly well and is very affordable. Also, if you don't like it or choose the wrong shade, Ulta will take it back.

I have color-treated hair and use several styling products. I use Paul Mitchell Shampoo Two every so often to remove built-up residue. It works great without stripping my beautiful red color. Like all professional hair care products, this one tends to be somewhat pricey, but it's worth it when you consider how well it works. I even use it to clean my rings! It removes residue from my jewelry as well. I highly recommend this product for a number of uses.

I've used many different day moisturizers because they either had soy, antioxidants, or sunscreens. This one has them all! It penetrates my face instead of sitting on top, looking wet and greasy. While it does have a UVA and UVB suncreen, it's only a 15. I would prefer an SPF of 30, but applying a 30 sunscreen over this moisturizer when needed does the trick. This moisturizer does everything the expensive moisturizers do. It's affordable, available, works well under makeup, and is pleasant to use. I don't think it would be sufficient for very dry skin, but I think that it would work well for just about any age group in almost any climate.

CoverGirl Advanced Radiance Age-Defying Liquid Makeup
This product beats most of its high-priced competitors.
I have found this to be an excellent foundation for warm weather months. It wears well throughout the day and has a pleasant, light scent. Since my skin tends to be a little dry in cold weather months, however, I had to use a more hydrating moisturizer underneath the foundation, which may or may not be sufficient for everyone. All in all, this foundation has beautiful shades and nice corresponding pressed powders. It's better than most foundations I've used that cost much more and is available just about everywhere.
