I have always been a big fan of clinique’s makeup offerings. Their eyeshadows especially have always been among my very favorites. However, I never seem to have even the slightest bit of luck when it comes to their skin care products. Still, I wanted to give this face protecting product a shot, since I know how important it is to keep my skin guarded against the sun’s rays, particularly since I now live in Florida, the sunshine state. I also work out every day, and so wanted a product that I did not have to worry about washing off before I began my workout. I applied this product in the morning prior to putting on my makeup, so it would have adequate time to soak into my skin before I went outside of the house. However, when I tried to apply my makeup, I noticed that it kept smearing and appeared to be sliding right off of my skin, even though I allowed several minutes for the product to dry. I found the scent of the product to be pleasant enough—it was not too heavy or perfumed, which I appreciated. Its consistency was fairly light, which I thought was another one of its high points. However, it severely impeded my makeup application, and made my face appear greasy, and I do not ordinarily have oily skin. I work in a professional setting so it is important for me to look polished, and I definitely did not with my face all shiny. Throughout the day, I noticed that the skin and oily feeling persisted, and my face did not feel fresh. I cannot say for certain that it did anything helpful in the way of protecting my skin, as I was so completely turned off by the greasiness that it left behind.

While I am and have always been one of those people who is extremely fussy and particular about her oral hygiene, I was not impressed by this toothbrush. I brush my teeth several times per day and only use pastes and brushes that I think will do my teeth and mouth health the most amount of good. However, this brush did not fit comfortably in my hand, and was slippery and hard to navigate my mouth with. It banged into my gums, which I found to be painful and irritating, and didn't clean any better than a brush that you are able to buy at the dollar store. I still had to do a good amount of flossing between my teeth before my mouth felt really and truly clean. So therefore, I would not recommend the added expense of purchasing this brush, and would not be interested in using it again.

Fekkai underperforms for its price point. This mask was OK, but Aphogee makes an excellent protein mask for a fraction of the price.
