The first time I tried these, they were on sale and I didn't think they'd work, but figured, eh, why not? (especially with my Avon rep discount). But they were great! Easy to hold, great tweezers. They do get a little dull faster than I'd like, but still great. I've purchased several more already (and everyone in my house keeps stealing them!). Get 'em on sale and stock up. Good to keep in your purse.

It's just NOT very good. It smells like it's trying to be sophisticated but it just doesn't work. Too heavy for me.

Didn't really do anything for me. Just kind of a normal foundation. I liked that it was SPF 20 PA+++ but other than that, just another spendy bottle.

Dolce & Gabbana claims that this smells of "rhubarb, kiwi accord, and red currant; a heart of pink cyclamen, watermelon, and jasmine; and a base of musk, sandalwood, and grapefruit wood" and that it is a unisex scent. Honestly, I find it to be a very feminine, sweet fruity/floral scent (I'm not very good at identifying particular notes). It's more sophisticated than some of the tween girly scents (like Britney Spears or Aquolina), but not overly heavy or musky. It's good for mid twenty year old somethings like myself, I'd say :) The scent does fade faster than I'd like, and faster than I'd expect for something of this price, but it's still fabulous, and I'd definitely repurchase it. I wear it almost every day.

I love LUSH. ***WHY I LOVE THEIR COMPANY: They have great products that are unique and fun, they use minimally packaged to reduce waste, they are against animal testing (they use human volunteers instead), they use ethically sourced and strictly vegetarian ingredients, they recyle, reuse and compost, they use wind power, and they get involved in charitable campaigns. It's a company that I LIKE to buy things from and am always excited to find new things to buy there. ***HOW I FEEL ABOUT THIS PRODUCT: This product was included in a LUSH "Dirty" gift set for about twenty bucks, and included hair gel, shaving cream, shower gel, fragrance vial (all in the "Dirty" scent), and Toothy Tabs. My boyfriend had been looking at it and I bought it for him to try (the box does say your girlfriend will try and steal it, and I partially bought it cuz I was excited to try it out too!) :) Unlike the name, it smells very clean and natural, mostly of spearmint although there is also thyme, tarragon, sandalwood, and lavender. It's really a refreshing scent. It's masculine, but women could definitely wear it too. My boyfriend and I both like it, although he probably won't purchase the fragrance itself—he likes it in the other products, but loves his regular cologne. A great scent though.

It's a company that I LIKE to buy things from and am always excited to find new things to buy there. ***HOW I FEEL ABOUT THIS PRODUCT: This was recommended to me by a LUSH employee that I really like, and who set me up with their Coalface soap, which is probably my holy grail facial cleanser. She gave me about a week's worth of sample product to test out Grease Lightning, which was super nice (and another reason I love to shop at LUSH!) Supposedly this will keep my skin clean and zap zits and fight bacteria due to the grapes, tea tree, rosemary, thyme, witch hazel and aloe. It sounds like a great combination of ingredients, so I was pretty excited to try it out. My skin is super oily and very, very acne prone, but this didn't seem to do anything for me at all. I like the texture—it's kind of jelly like, easy to apply to your skin, and it dries quickly without leaving a residue. It has a very faint herbal scent to it. But in terms of fighting acne, it didn't do a thing. Nor did it mattify my skin at all. It didn't make my skin worse, so this might actually be effective for somebody else, but sadly, it wasn't effective at all for me. The price is fairly reasonable (about twelve bucks for an ounce and a half). However, since it doesn't do anything, I'm going to give it a pass next time I'm at LUSH, and just stick with Coalface soap.

Is this really necessary? No, you can leave your shampoo bar on a ledge in your shower or something. It's it nice looking and handy? Yes. As other reviewers said, don't put wet shampoo bars in here, because they'll get mushy. I didn't have a problem with my cinnamon shampoo bar fitting in the tin when it was new though. Maybe they've changed the sizes of one of the products since then. For four bucks, it's reasonably priced, if you really want a container specifically for your shampoo bars. I don't regret having bought mine, although we don't always put the shampoo bar back in it.

I love LUSH. ***WHY I LOVE THEIR COMPANY: They have great products that are unique and fun, and the company is ethical as well. The products are minimally packaged to reduce waste, they are against animal testing (they use human volunteers instead), they use ethically sourced and vegetarian ingredients, they genuinely are a “green” company (in terms of their energy use, recycling/composting/re-using, using wind and low-impact hydro-electric power), and they get involved in charitable campaigns. She gave me about a week's worth of sample product to test out Enzymion, which was super nice (and another reason I love to shop at LUSH!) I was really hoping to see improvements in my acne, since even oily acne prone skin can use a little moisture and it does have some soothing ingredients in it, so I was hoping that it would calm some of the inflammation and help heal my skin. However, Enzymion didn't seem to do anything for me at all. The consistency is similar to that of lotion. It didn't feel heavy on my skin, it absorbed fairly well, and it was a bit moisturizing. It smells slightly like lemon juice, but just faintly. It didn't make my skin any worse in terms of breakouts or how oily my skin was, which I liked., but it didn't seem to make my skin any brighter or clearer. I just feel like I didn't NEED it, because it wasn't making my skin any better, and if I don't need to add another step to my skincare routine, then I won't (saves me time and money!). I personally am going to skip this. Maybe if you're acne prone with dry patches, this would be a good product for you.

I love LUSH. ***WHY I LOVE THEIR COMPANY: They have great products that are unique and fun, and the company is great as well. The co-creators are quirky and cool, the products are minimally packaged to reduce waste, they are against animal testing (they use human volunteers instead), they use ethically sourced ingredients, they use only vegetarian ingredients, they genuinely are a “green” company (in terms of their energy use, recycling/composting/re-using, using wind and low-impact hydro-electric power), and they get involved in ethical campaigns. It's a company that I LIKE to buy things from and am always excited to find new things to buy there. ***WHY I LOVE THIS PRODUCT: My boyfriend actually picked up and bought this product, because it smells fabulous (usually I'm the one who can't resist things at LUSH). I was super excited to use it as well. I was excited because the LUSH saleslady said that it lasts a really long time, even though it's not very big, a little over two inches in diameter. We've gone through about ½ of a bar in one month, but we use a generous amount. The directions online said to use three swipes along the entire length of your hair, more if needed. I've been using quite a bit more than that since I have a lot of really long hair, so I've probably gone through it more quickly than most people would. It gives you a really great lather, and feels great. If you use a lot, it could be a bit drying (my hair tends to be a bit oily, so I don't mind using a lot, and I always need leave in conditioner to detangle my hair anyway, so I don't find this to be a problem). My hair feels so clean after I use it! The cinnamon scent is delicious, and lingers on your hair even after the shampoo has been rinsed out. We'll definitely be repurchasing this.

It's a company that I LIKE to buy things from and am always excited to find new things to buy there. ***WHY I LOVE THIS PRODUCT: A very nice LUSH employee suggested I try this after I asked about trying a facial cleanser that would be good for my very oily, acne-prone skin. She swore that she used this product herself, and that it worked wonders, especially in combination with the Ocean Salt face scrub. I haven't tried the little sample of the salt face scrub, but I did decide to buy a small chunk of the Coalface. It's AMAZING. It is a little messy since it leaves gray residue, and I personally think it's a little spendy for soap (well, spendier than the drugstore acne products, but less than department store acne products). But it's really an amazing product—it's helped my skin clear up so much! I use my Clean & Clear makeup dissolving wipes to get off the makeup, and then I use Coalface to get my face squeaky clean (literally, squeaky clean!) It's a little bit drying, so it's best for people with really oily skin (although my boyfriend loves to steal it and use it, even though his skin is normal, and no acne). My only complaint is that the pieces of soap aren't perfectly rectangular (yes, a weird pet peeve, but still). In spite of that, I've already used up one bar of soap and am on to my second. I will definitely be repurchasing this over and over, since it's one of the few products that have kept my skin relatively clear.
