I remember trying this product when mineral makeup was still relatively new to the world of drug store makeup. In a word, awful. It's not to say that the product itself is the worst (it isn't great though) but the packaging is a nightmare. You have to remove the brush from the dumb little dome and then shake the container and unscrew the top to get any product. It's messy, complicated and unnecessary. The bristles on the brush get rough very quickly and then fall out. If this hasn't been discontinued yet it needs to be.

I have a few shades of the NYC UltraMoist lip stick and I gotta say I'm impressed. Good color range, good pigmentation and fairly long lasting.

NYC is cheap. We all know it. Sometimes their products sucks, sometimes not, Their bronzer, however, is just pointless. No pigmentation whatsoever. I'm lucky if I can get a little shimmer on my face let alone color.

I love my Tarte LipSurgence Matte Lip Tint in Lively (fuscia). The pigmentation is wonderful, the colors are beautiful and the formula is moisturizing with some serious staying power. I don't find the product settling into any fine lines and it doesn't bleed. However, don't expect to eat or drink (or kiss) anything without leaving a big, bright mark. The only complaint I have is how easy the color transfers.

Yes this product does what it says. It plumps your lips and leaves them looking fuller, but at what cost? The formula is so sticky...I would not have been surprised to find a baby or small dog attached to my lips at the end of the day. And the tingle. The tingle! I know that it's just the active ingredients working their magic on my kisser but I do not need to be so aware of my lips. The texture (and the tingle) keeps me away from SMP.

I have yet to find a product that works well on lips, eyes and cheeks and The Multiple is no exception. While it works well as a cream blush (if you have the right skin tone) it is too powdery for lips and too creamy for eyes.

I am a huge NARS fan. Their products are elegant and sexy. Their blush is so luxurious and smooth. The color payoff is not as high as some other brands but I like that. One quick sweep and I have noticeable color. The shimmery colors are perfect for summer but I prefer a little less sparkle for the rest of the year. The packaging makes it easy to just pick a shade and throw it in my bag and go. I never have to worry about the blush cracking and the compact comes with a mirror. Love it.

My combination skin often presents me with problems. Problems like finding a finishing powder that sets makeup, absorbs oil and doesn't look cakey after a few hours. Well the solution presented itself in the form of Make Up For Ever's HD Microfinish Powder. This product is amazing. It's ultra lightweight like you wouldn't believe. The powder is so fine that it fills all your pores and lines and leaves your skin flawless. Oh and it leaves your skin feeling softer than a baby's butt.

Girl Meets Pearl is the first highlighter I ever bought and I am so in love. I use this product almost every day. It is not going to give you an obvious "oh look at my cheekbones soo highlighted" look which is fine with me since subtle is more my style. The creme adds a shimmery pop of light and leaves my skin with a dewy glow you wont get from a powder highlighter. I use Girl Meets Pearl under my eyes/above cheek bones, down the center of my nose and above my lip to define my cupid's bow (works fantastically for that). Another thing I love about GMP is how much product you receive. It lasts so long because you only need a tiny bit to achieve a subtle highlighted affect.
