NYX has become my favorite cosmetic line and every time I try another one of their products I'm reminded why! I swatched Magnetic on my hand when I was at Ulta and put some on my cheekbones and fell in love! Don't be intimidated as it looks very glittery when you open the compact and look at it; it made me not even want to swatch it when I got home but it's almost as if it changes to shimmer on your hands or something, love it! It has a pretty coral hue to it with a beautiful shimmer to it. I can put this on my shoulders when I'm going to the beach for a pretty sun kissed look and use it as an illuminator on my forehead, nose, cupid's bow, chin, and cheekbones everyday! Ulta always seems to have a buy one get one half off on their NYX line so I bought two of the Magnetic colors because I loved it so much! :] If I remember correctly they're about $7.99 each (just as excellent a price as usual for NYX cosmetics) and good deal for a highlighter. When I use up my Magnetics maybe I'll venture off and try a different color! Highly recommend if you like NYX :]

NYX products are amongst my favorite makeup products and this wax is on my top! I was using the Sephora brand eyebrow kit that comes with a mini tweezer, mini eyebrow brush, and mini eyebrow slanted brush, two eyebrow powders, and wax. I LOVED the wax, but am not going to fish out almost $20 every time I run out of the kit. I began searching for less expensive eyebrow waxes that could actually tame my dark, coarse, crazy brows and figured I'd look to my amazing NYX line for a solution. I purchased this wonderful baby pink eyebrow wax and tested it out and am VERY satisfied. The wax is not greasy, goes on smoothly, and tames my brows into a perfect arch with no stray hairs sticking out. I apply it first then apply the powders and it stays all through my day. At the end of the day when I wash off my makeup it comes off easily. I am curious to see how I am supposed to sharpen this jumbo pencil but will find out soon.....Definitely recommend you go out and try this wax if you're looking for a cheap alternative to your usual stuff! :] After continuing to purchase my favorite brow wax, I was pretty disappointed that I never could find the right size sharpener to sharpen the pencil. The girl from Ulta recommended the Essence sharpener(it's about $2) and has a small pencil and large sharpener on it. I purchased that to see if it would sharpen my eyebrow pencil and voila!! This is still my FAVORITE eyebrow wax! I hope it's never discontinued!!

I follow a girl on youtube who has been wearing this foundation for some time and out of all the high end brands she's used, this is her favorite. I have read some other reviews and finally bit the bullet and purchased it. I didn't feel like skin matching myself when I was in the store so I just started looking through the shades and just so happened to notice that the colors that would seem to match my skin were on clearance for $2.68! I purchased the n5point5(this website won't let me type it as it's actually printed out) and figured it if didn't match I could mix it with another one of my foundations to make it work, especially since I paid less than $3 for it! I tried it today and I am hooked! I shook it up (as the girl that I follow on youtube always does that before she applies it), used my Lancome foundation brush and applied it to my cheeks and under my eyes (only the areas I have with redness or darkness) and blended it. It matches me perfectly! The formula was smooth going on and has a very pleasant smell( as dumb as it is beauty products that stink are a big turn off for me and will make or break the purchase!) I also love the fact that it has a SPF 17 in it (not high but still does have it.) I have never really been a big L'oreal foundation buyer but after seeing the large selection of colors they have I am impressed and will continue to purchase this foundation after I use it. I might even try another foundation :]

BareMinerals Mineral Veil Finishing Powder Broad Spectrum SPF 25
My favorite setting/finishing powder
I LOVE LOVE LOVE bareMinerals mineral veil. I have been using this product for some time now and every time I want to buy a new finishing powder I end up going right back to this. I use the bareMinerals foundation brush to swirl, tap, and buff a small amount onto my face after putting my primer on (the bareMinerals associate recommended this to me because I told her recently I've been struggling with oil on my forehead and she said it will act as a mattifier to prevent the oil) (Genius.) After that I put on my bareMinerals foundation in medium tan and swirl, tap, and buff a little smidgen of veil and complete! My face is oil free, shimmery(not in a cheesy way), and whenever I sweat I can reapply some in my t-zone. I recently learned of the bareMinerals boutique at the outlets near our house so I just go there and get amazing deals on bM products. Love this powder and HIGHLY recommend!

I rated this product a 10 for many reasons. I love the fact that it's pink, has a wonderful dessert smell yet isn't a real dessert so I can't have unhealthy treats, and really does a great job of hydrating my lips. The little egg case is super cute and easy to pack in my little makeup bag or in a storage drawer I keep all my chap sticks in. It opens easily as you just turn the top, and the actual product feels smooth going on. I like to put it on anytime I feel like my lips are getting a bit dry, but I especially like to apply it at night right before I go to bed so it hydrates them while I sleep. I have never had any kind of allergic reaction to it, and I think it's safe for all skin types. It usually runs for about $2.99 everywhere I have looked (even my favorite store Target) but I believe I saw a 2 pack at Target recently for $5.99. It's still the same price but getting two in a pack is nice as well. I think this is a great hydrating lip product if you suffer from chapped lips, or just need some moisture. Highly recommend!

I received this in a deluxe sample kit along with the Photo Finish "Light" version and a blue one as well and so far have been satisfied with all of them :] The Photo Finish one (this one I am reviewing) Is transparent, so it's just clear in the tube. I had a .25 fl oz which lasted me about a week and I squirt a dime sized amount in my hand everyday so that little size gave me plenty of days of stay put makeup! As I said, I squeezed a dime sized amount of primer into my hands, covered my palms and put it all over my forehead, cheeks, jaws, nose, and chin. It felt light, not greasy, and there really wasn't a smell so it was pleasant to put on. As I applied it, it felt like it blended right in and didn't need any time to dry. I applied my whole face-bronzer, highlighter, and blush and it stayed all day :] The only complaint I have about primers and it's all primers is no matter if it comes in a tube, or a glass bottle, or a plastic bottle that you squirt, you can't get it all out!!! When I'm right at the end of a tube I cut the top off and use a q-tip to take the rest of the product out. I want to get my moneys worth! Try this primer, it's awesome!

I received a three pack deluxe sample with my purchase of a Smashbox product and was happy to finally try this primer. The sample came in a clear .25 fl oz tube and lasted me for about two weeks so I was pretty impressed with that. After having washed my face and moisturized, I squeezed a dime sized amount of primer and rubbed it all over my face, focusing on my forehead and cheeks. It's a blue, creamy primer that doesn't have a particular smell, it's a tolerable smell though. A dime sized amount was a great amount to cover my entire face. Then I did my usual makeup routine, BB cream, concealer, powder, bronzer, blush, eye makeup, and lipstick and it was still wonderful at the end of the day! No oil, no shine, and my makeup looked exactly as it did at the beginning of the day. I wasn't overly excited about this primer which was pretty disappointing. I'll use the other samples in the pack but will NEVER pay $42 for this primer. I have a bunch of other primers to try and already this hasn't been put on my favorites list. Sorry Smashbox!

The back of this 16 fl oz bottle has a few, strong statements that I was going to test and see if these claims were true! First off, it says "a gentle awakening for your mind and skin. Second-the lively, quenching scent of pomegranate & lemon verbena. Third-the feeling that your skin just had a refreshing drink that gave it a fresh new suppleness. Fourth-infused with our unique NutriumMoisture technology, it goes beyond moisturization to effectively nourish skin. Fifth and final-refreshment that effectively nourishes skin. Quite a bit of claims, but I was satisfied!! Upon opening the top and smelling, the first words out of my mouth were,"MMMM." The bottle says it's a GENTLE awakening and if it was 6 am and I was dragging butt, using this in the shower would definitely wake me up! The delicious smell of pomegranate instantly awakens my senses and made me excited to use this wash! When I got my loofa wet and squirt a bit onto it, I was hit with the clean, lemon scent and knew I was going to love this wash. I have used Dove body wash before(I love it) but wanted to try the new "go fresh" line and noticed the difference in appearance of the product. The nutrium moisture wash I'm used to is like a whitish, thick wash and this particular one has a creamy, pearly look. It doesn't matter to me, they both work, but out of purposes of reviewing the product be aware there is a difference. I swished my hands on the loofa to get it all over and noticed how well the wash lathered up and began washing my body. After covering my entire body in the wash and rinsing off, I rubbed my arms to see how they felt and they were super soft! Check, check, check. Every single claim this bottle makes is true. When I got out of the shower and smelled them, they smelled like the mixture of deliciousness of pomegranate and lemon verbena. I couldn't get over how smooth and soft my skin felt all day. I love this wash and since I purchased this in a double pack, I'm set for a little bit! If you love Dove products, you'll love this yummy wash!

So I thought I was crazy after I bought this brush and was deeply regretting my impulse buy but after the first time of using it, I was in love! I paid around $20 for this wooden brush but trust Aveda products so I figured it must be that price for a reason. The whole back and handle is a smooth, beautiful wood that pretty much withstands me dropping it on the daily. Also, for whatever reason my infant son loves this thing, and whenever he's in the bathroom he insists on banging it on the floor...I've closed my eyes and expected to open them to see a cracked brush, but upon inspecting it every single time it looks exactly the same, no cracks, not any different since the day I bought it. I have to say this has wonderful durability even with children! Pertaining to my hair, I believe this is an excellent paddle brush. I use it everyday to brush my mid back length hair and It doesn't tug or pull, and definitely is great for my hair after the shower and dry as well. I have used it a few times to brush through my hair when I blow dry(rarely) and it is rather pleasant as this brush grabs much of my hair. As far as daily brushing and detangling, this is the only brush I use :] Great value especially since my hair is long and I don't feel like buying alot of brushes!

I still can't figure out if I got a bad sample, or what, but this stuff is gross!! I got a sample and coupon in my Allure magazine and was so excited to try this Miracle "skin smoother." The packaging says to apply to face after it has been washed and you have put moisturizer on. After having done these two things, I opened the sample and squeezed some into my hands. EWW. The consistency is waxy, but it looked like wax that had been sitting out for years...A whitish gray lump of disgustingness. I can't even describe how gross this stuff looks and feels. The consistency was awful. I was actually scared to put it on my face because I thought the product had been expired...Out of pure stupidity, I rubbed it into my hands, or attempted to rub it into my hands as it started sloughing off and flaking into little balls. Upon rubbing it on my face, the same thing happened. No matter how much I tried to rub this product into my face, it would just make more and more little waxy balls that I ended up just using a makeup remover towelette and wiping it all off. I love Loreal products but I'm in shock that this was put on the market. The consistency is DISGUSTING, and I can't even get it to stay on my face...How does it possibly smooth your skin!? If I could give this negative stars I sure would...BEWARE
