Dove has always been a great soap to use, and the Gentle Exfoliating Bar is one step better, if that's possible. Since you're in the shower or tub anyway, the extra exfoliating treatment you get while just sudsing up is a real benefit. One less thing to add to your cleansing regimen. It won't take the place of a serious exfoliator you might need pre-faux tanning, but on a daily basis, it's great.

Goes on white and lengthens and curls my lashes quite well. I was afraid that it would be difficult to control because of the movement, but in reality, it vibrates so rapidly, it doesn't appear to move at all. It's very easy to apply. Lengthens more than thickens. And with the Oscillating mascara applied right after (no one wants white eyelashes), you get a terrific look.

An absolutely quick and easy way to deal with eye makeup smudges/mistakes/end of day droop. Q-tip with it's own built-in supply of eye makeup remover. Just dab what you need to to "erase" the bad spot, and you're good to go.

A pea-sized amount -- rubbed between your fingers and lightly patted all over your face after you've completed your makeup -- gives you a soft, dewy, healthy finish. Seems to just soften your look. I use this in the morning after I finish my makeup, and then again later in the day when I need a refreshing to my makeup. Seems to be a hit with the 50-something's in the other reviews . . . and I'm right in there with them.

I ran to the mall today without makeup (just my normal routine of serums and moisturizers). I have been using the clarisonic system for 6 or 7 days now, and thought my face looked clear and fresh. When I asked the specialist at my favorite makeup counter to try some colors on me, her first comment was how soft my skin felt. Don't know that I've ever had that compliment given to me before. I have good skin and use good products on my face, and thought the clarisonic cleaner would be a good addition to my regiment. With only a week under my belt, I'm very happy. Of course, time will tell more, but I like the fact that it is supposed to make the skin more receptive to the serums and vitamins you apply topically. It is on the expensive side, but if it continues to do what it claims, I'll be very pleased.

There was a point in time before these were available in the US that I used to travel to the UK on business and would pick up a dozen or more packages to bring home with me. Heaven know what the customs officials thought when they scanned my luggage. These pads do the job, don't tear apart when wet/damp, and never have loose cotton fibers that get stuck on your eyelashes. I use them to remove eye makeup, to correct make-up mistakes, remove nail polish, and blot lotions when I use a too-heavy hand. Every now and then I buy a supermarket or no-name brand of cotton pads -- usually because they are less expensive -- and every time I end up throwing them away (cheap, flimsy, pull apart, fibers get in my eyes, etc.) and going back to The Body Shop Pads. They are worth the cost!

Paired with the GW Velvet Soft Shampoo and Conditioner, the Treatment works well to make my hair soft and healthy looking. I have thick, color-treated hair, and it's more course than fine. The treatment - which I use every other washing (which means about twice a week) - adds more softness than what I get from the shampoo and conditioner alone. I'm not overly generous with the amount of Treatment I use, but the tube only seems to last about 4-6 weeks, when I can get 2-3 months out of the shampoo or the conditioner. At the moment, I'm experimenting to see if I can get the same results by leaving the Conditioner in longer (instructions call for putting it on and immediately rinsing).

The new Velvet Soft shampoo works well for think, color-treated, more-course-than-fine hair. Lathers well, though you have to rinse thoroughly, because of all the suds. Paired with the Velvet Soft Conditioner and an every-other use of the Treatment product, my hair responds well. It's not inexpensive, but I can easily get 3 months out of a bottle when using every-other day.

I use this under my eyes to set concealer, under eye liners/shadows, etc. You don't need much -- a lighter hand is the key. In the course of a day, everything I put under my eyes seemed to "bleed" and I develop raccoon eyes. Secret Brightening Powder prevents that from happening. Only thing I don't like is the container . . . I travel and when I open the container at my destination (after the suitcase had probably been turned and tossed upside down in transit), much of the product had come out of the shaker lid (and I had to spend time trying to push the product back through the holes into the container). Needs some sort of stopper to keep excess product from coming through the shaker holes.

The colors in this Smashbox set are wonderful . . . blend beautifully . . . and stay put all day. The "white" shade is a great base -- alone or blended with the other two shades. I use the darkest shade (with or without water) as an eyeliner. You can get a wonderful smokey look out of this trio.
