Cleans well, feels cool and tingly after you're done, didn't irritate my eyes like some cleansers do, and doesn't dry your skin out so if you're naturally oily you might even skip your moisturizer and if you're naturally dry you won't get drier from this product. Has a pleasant scent (makes me think of old-fashined candy) and last for just about ever. Natural ingredients and no animal testing. Is there a down-side?

This product has a light, slick oily feel when first applied - like a moisturizing body oil. The lemon fragrance is strong and pleasant if you like that type of scent, probably not as pleasant if you don't. It tends to mellow out after a few minutes. In terms of effectiveness, I think different bugs are repelled by different things - no one product will get them all. On a recent trip to the Amazon Burt's Bees Herbal Insect Repellent did a great job repelling large biting flies but did nothing to ward off the little bitey gnat-like things (although to be fair, DEET didn't keep the little menaces away either). So consider where you're going and what kind of pest you'll encounter there before you choose a product. A big plus is that it's natural, so you can use it on sensitive skin or kids. It's pretty cheap, too, for a natural insect repellent. 9 out of 10.

I didn't actually "grow up" on Bonne Bell but I was absolutely obsessed with their tinted, flavored lip balms in middle school, and these Lip Lites are a reincarnation of that long-sought product. Being older and wiser now I realize that they're not made of natural ingredients and don't moisturize as well as some of my other lip balms, but to be fair to BB they don't dry my lips out as much as other mineral-oil based lip balms/glosses. They're delicious - the flavors are few (5 or 6) but the vanilla tastes exactly the same as their old line's vanilla, such a lovely taste treat from the past! - and feel very lightweight and smooth on the lips, plus they're a great value for the money. The tint of color is just right, sheer and shimmery. I love the vanilla and can't wait to try the mocha and cappuchino! 8 out of 10 (this would go up to 10 if Bonne Bell used natural ingredients and the product moisturized just a tad better).

The consistency of Burt's Lifeguard's Choice lip balm is not as creamy as their original. The actual lip balm stick is harder - this could be because of the sunscreen in it. I didn't much like it as I'm a fan of the original and this one didn't seem to moisturize as well, and left my lips a very cool (and by that I mean opposite of warm) pale pink (which, in my case, wasn't a good thing, but if your complexion can tolerate such a shade it is a unique one and may win you some complements). The taste and feel are as minty and tingly as the original, but the color and texture just threw me off. I don't live in a very sunny place, so I may not be appreciating the sun protection to its full extent... but I went right back to my original Burt's Bees lip balm. Perhaps I'll pull it out again if I go to the beach or skiing.

I was very pleased by this shampoo and conditioner. I didn't notice a dramatic volumizing effect, but in terms of overall volume and not weighing down my hair Kiss My Face Volumizing Shampoo is in my top 5. It has a pleasant lavender scent, plus no nasty chemicals. 10 out of 10.

Burt's Bees Naturally Ageless Line Dimishing Day Lotion
Smells delicious, feels great, not much difference in lines though.
Burt's Bees Naturally Ageless Line Diminishing Lotion smells delicious! It's fresh, fruity, and almost candy-like, in a good way. It feels very nice when applied and kept my young (25), somewhat oily skin feeling fresh and moisturized with two applications (after washing) daily. That said, I didn't see any difference in the couple of lines I have around my eyes. It might have firmed my skin a little. All in all, it smelled great, worked great as a light absolutely-not-greasy moisturizer, but didn't seem to live up to the line-diminishing part of its name. I used two full bottles because I love the scent and feel of it but just can't justify spending $25 a bottle anymore, espeically given that there's always a bit of product left down at the bottom of the bottle that you can't get to... maybe witha Q-tip or something... If $25 is not a big deal for you and you're not waging war on fine lines yet, it's a great moisturizier. If you're primarily looking to combat lines and wrinkles, this may not be the product to do it with.

The texture is lightweight and reminiscent of coconut oil. I usually prefer something creamier for a lip balm/gloss, but this stuff still gets your lips feeling fairly soft while it's on there, and is pretty glossy, at least for a little while. Not as soft once it's gone though... I wasn't crazy about the flavors, especially the cherry, although the strawberry and raspberry aren't too bad. Haven't tried the lime. I love Burt's Bees as a brand, but this is not one of my favorite products by them.

Bonne Bell's VitaGloss Revitalizing Lip Quencher rocks. It's a high shine liquid gloss that has good staying power and works equally well on top of your regular lip color or on bare lips. It feels cool and slick when first applied, very pleasant. I tried the watermelon flavor and it was nothing short of yummy. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants a high shine, good tasting lip gloss. I give it a 9 rather than 10 only because it isn't made of natural and organic ingredients. If this is not a priority for you, you'll probably give it a 10.
