This foundation leaves my skin looking moist and dewy. It's sheer enough so that I can have sheerer coverage in some areas and heavier in others, if I need to. It's a close runner-up to my favorite foundation from Trish McEvoy.

Back in the days when I had a professional manicure weekly, my manicurist recommended Solar Oil for my dry nails and cuticles. It's amazing how well it works! I use it at bedtime, and since my hands are dry also, I apply Solar Oil to my nails and cuticles and than apply a rich hand cream before putting on thin cotton gloves. When I wake up, my hands and cuticles look great, and over time my dry nails have become less brittle and prone to breaking. Great stuff!

My heels are perpetually dry, calloused and cracked. I've tried many different creams and treatments, but this is the first one to make a significant difference. At bedtime, I use a buffer, slather on this cream and then put on cotton socks. In the morning, my heels are soft and smooth. And the price can't be beat!

Philosophy Purity Made Simple Foaming 3-in-1 Cleansing Gel for Face and Eyes
A great everyday cleanser
Purity Made Simple leaves my skin feeling really clean, but not dry the way many other effective cleansers do. Philosophy's skincare products seem to be consistently high quality.

Philosophy The Microdelivery In-Home Vitamin C Peptide Peel
The best I've tried...but very expensive
I fell in love with Philosophy's Microdelivery Peel system years ago, but when our finances took a turn for the worse I had to give it up. I've tried several similar products that were less expensive, but none of them seems to do as good a job as this one.,

I was given a jar of this at Christmas and couldn't wait to try it. I wasn't disappointed! The smell is AWESOME, and it works very effectively to exfoliate and moisturize dry skin. Leaves your skin feeling silky smooth! Use it just before bathing.

I love Trish McEvoy cosmetics, especially her eye makeup! Her Eye Base Essentials is a liquid that you apply with a quick swipe of a sponge-tipped applicator and then pat upwards to cover the area between the upper lash line and just under the eyebrow. It dries very fast, so it's important to work quickly, but you don't need to wait before applying powder eye shadow. I start by applying an eye cream to my lids very lightly just before I apply my moisturizer and before I start to apply makeup, and that works well. (Make sure your eye cream is intended for use on the eyelid as well as under the eye!) It's sheer and pretty enough to use without any eye shadow, and brightens up your eyes beautifully.

I bought this instead of a similar but much more expensive product to give some warmth and brightness to my cool skin. I use it mostly around the sides of my face, the sides of my nose, and under my jaw line to help define and sculpt my face a bit, but very subtly. I'm sure that I also could use it as an all over face color in the summer. It's one of the few bronzers that is neither orangey nor shimmery and goes on sheerly, so that it looks extremely natural and you can build the color up as much or as little as you want. One of the best makeup purchases I've ever made, and well worth the price!

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 45
Superior. long-lasting protection that doesn't sting sensitive skin
I had high hopes for Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 55, and it did not disappoint! I have extremely fair skin and a family history of skin cancer, so I'm very careful about sun protection. Most of the high-SPF, broad-spectrum UVA-UVB sunblocks I've tried sting my sensitive skin and/or leave a ghoulish white glow. This Neutrogena sunblock offers longer-lasting protection than most others, doesn't turn my skin white, and doesn't sting or burn even my ultra-sensitive skin. Wonderful product!

I'm crazy for all Moroccanoil products, and this one is no exception. It's an intense hydrating masque that drenches my long, dry, color-treated, frizz-prone locks in moisture and leaves them smooth, shiny and silky. It's more expensive than some other intensive hair treatments, but SO worth it! If your hair is dry, color-treated or frizzy, this might become your new best friend.
