These eyeshadows are very nice in that they are easy to apply and blend. They are a bit less pigmented than I'd prefer, but that's ok. What IS a problem is that I would never choose the colors they they did. I have blue eyes and NEVER wear blue eyeshadow because I think it's tacky, and also does nothing for me. I much prefer earth tones, like brown, beige, khaki green, or even gray or soft purple as these DO bring out my eye color. I rate this a 5 because of the quality of the product, not the 'bring-out' ability for the wearer's eye color.

I recently started using mascara again after a long time with eye/contact lens issues. I had to find an eyemakeup remover that was very, very gentle and wouldn't tug on my lashes. I used to use Clique, wish I could afford to now, but this is a great substitute. It removed all my makeup, mascara, liner, shadow easily and did not irritate my baby blues. The rest of my face felt dry so I rubbed some of this on and tissued off, and that worked, too. You get a lot for your money, and the small jar lasts forever. The fragrance is mild, and pleasant. I highly recommend this cold cream.

This is one of those products that you may have never heard of or tried, and when you stumble across it and try it, you wonder how you've managed to live without it! First the pros: it's so soothing and softening on your lips, it makes them feel wonderful and sooo soft. It can be used on your nails and cuticles, also for dry cheeks in the winter when the winds are blowing. It smells divine, but the fragrance is subtle. The CO Bigelow company has been in business for more than a century, so it's a name you can trust. You get a whole lot in the tin, and it lasts a long, long time since you don't need a lot. And it's less than $5.00 for the tin! Cons: The tin can be hard to open sometimes, you have to get the knack of it. Sometimes it needs to be reapplied sooner than you'd prefer, but you don't need to use a mirror, so I can live with that!

I really like the Olay Regenerist line, including the serum. However, when I tried this, after a few nights of use, I starting breaking out. I was very upset because everything about the cream was great: the texture, the fragrance, it absorbs quickly, and you only need to use a little, so the value it very good. Just not for me :+(

These pads are a great value; they can actually be cut in half and you still have enough to use to do a good job. That makes them last twice as long, and if you store them with the jar upside down, they stay moist longer. They are gentle enough for my sensitive skin if I use them about 2x a week and they do remove all the dirt, makeup, etc and unclog my pores and make my skin smooth without leaving it feeling tight. I like it better than a scrub because sometimes the scrubs make me break out due to the sharp particles. And, best, drugstores and Target, Walmart, do have Aveeno products on sale often, so you can pick up a bargain if you watch for it. Definitely worth a try.

I had seen this cream in the drug store, while previously searching for a new, natural, hypoallergenic night cream that would last through the night and not make skin feel tight, as many of them do. I cannot afford to pay mall/department store prices, and, frankly, even if I could, I probably would not. I hesitated buying Yes to Carrots because the name sounded weird (stupid reason, I know), and I am really sorry I waited so long! This cream is absolutely wonderful. It has a great consistency, not too thin or too greasy, and absorbs well. It smells nice, too. Most importantly, IT WORKS! I have a fair, sensitive complexion, and am prone to breakouts from new products. I had no problems in this area. My skin feels soft, not greasy, not tight, just right. It looks radiant without being overly shiny. The packaging is cute, with the cute litlle carrot on the box and jar, and there is no waste. The jar is filled and of sufficient size to justify the price. I will try the day cream and eye cream next time I get paid. By all means, if you are looking for a drugstore-priced, natural-based, gentle an effective nught cream, try it. You won't be sorry.

I really like this everyday lotion! I bought this a few weeks ago and started using it, after reading about it here on Total Beauty. I live in Florida full time and realized that lately my usual moisturizer with SPF 15 is not enough. My face was getting red and my chest seemed to be getting sunburned. Let me say that I am a very fair skinned natural strawberry blond, and even though I am now graying, my skin still has that redhead's complexion. I avoid the sun like the plague, as much as possible down here, and have almost no wrinkles. Laugh lines, yes, but that's part of life. Anyway, this lotion is not greasy, has no perfume, has not irritated my sensitive skin in the few weeks I've used it (daily), and I have not gotten any redder, so itis working! It is light and quickly absorbed. Plus, it's avaiable in Target, Walmart, CVS, etc. Why pay more for a quality lotion?

I love Almay. I have been using it since I was a teenager, and that's a while ago. The lipstick, eyeshadow, liner, foundation, and especially the mascara are all my favorites. Except this. First of all, it tastes lousy. Bad sign. And the two step application is also a bad sign; who has time for that? Next, the lip color is sticky and gooey and after you wait the required time for it to dry and apply the top coat, the WHOLE THING gets sticky and gooey all over again. Then, the top coat shiny part loses its shine after several hours and you have to reapply, and I agree with the previous reviewer who said you have to wash the whole thing off and start over or you'd have an awful mess on your hands (or your lips, rather), AND...it does not wash off easily. The only saving grace in this for me was that I paid half-price, which may mean they are discontinuing the line, we should be so lucky? Don't waste your money on this one. There are much better choices out there. Package was cute, though, not that it matters.

I really like the Jane LipKick Lipsticks, so I tried this pencil in Charcoal. Sorry to say the color did not go on smoothly at all. I had to keep filling in the empty spots . I do not apply thick lines, just a rather narrow line along the upper and lower lids, but this was difficult for me to get a smooth continuous line. I will give it another chance, and try a different color. Maybe it was this particular pencil that's the culprit. The packing and the size of the product is nice and simple, gives you a good value, and had no perfume or irritating odor; gentle on the eyes area.

This is a keeper. I use the Aveeno products because I have very fair, sensitive skin and they are gentle and not irritating to me. This cream goes on smooth, a little goes a long way, and it absorbs quickly, leaving a nice smooth feel to the skin around my eyes. I like the dispenser, it's easy to use. I did notice a brighter look around my eyes, the dark circles were not as noticeable (I have only been using it a few days, to be fair), but it looks to be promising.
