  • Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes - Hydrating

These wipes are great at taking off eye makeup, even waterproof mascara, very easily, with one or two swipes! The wipes are gentle, which I really like since my eyes AND skin are sensitive, but no problems here. Good price, also. Best I've tried!

  • Boots No7 Refine and Rewind Intense Perfecting Serum

This serum really is a treat for your skin. It's soothing, goes on smooth and makes your face feel soft and really does smooth out the tiny little lines we're all trying to avoid (not a miracle, but the tiny ones are less noticeable). It comes in a plastic tube now, which I love, because it means I can get every last drop of it out. Sometimes down here in Florida, when it's especially humid, I don't apply moisturizer on top, since it does a pretty good job on its own. The trick is, use it for a month, then stop using it and see how your skin feels. I'm sure you'll notice the difference. I highly recommend this.

  • Boots No7 Maximum Volume Mascara

I agree with Lamb727; this stuff is horrible! The case is nice, but that's as far as I'll go. The brush is too big and unwieldy, the mascara itself is thick as tar, and made my lashes look like they had some sort of goop on them, not mascara. I remembered reading here to try following a coat of this with a coat of lengthening mascara, but that made it worse. It took forever to dry (of course, I was in a bit of a hurry), I ended up using more Q-tips and toothpicks to try and remove the 'tar' and unclump my lashes than I did actually applying it in the first place. And I didn't even have the blackest formula! I took it back to the store for a refund (Target is really good about refunds if you keep receipts).

  • Rimmel London Colour Rush Quad Eyeshadow

Rimmel London Colour Rush Quad Eyeshadow

    OK, but not much pigment

This eyeshadow is good for day wear since it doesn't have a lot of pigment. I got the Smokey Purple only, I admit, because it was 75% off @ CVS. I will likely try another shade of the quads because of the price and the fact that I love to play with makeup (yes, I am an adult--when it comes to most things). I think it's worth trying. Also, non-irritating, no animal testing and you can see the colors clearly before you buy. Also, it doesn't turn to a powdery when you use an eyeshadow brush. Don't even think about trying the little applicator that comes with it.

  • Rimmel London Lash Accelerator Mascara

I tried this because of all the great reviews here for it. I have to say I agree--it is a great mascara. I did not use Rimmel products previously, except maybe a lipstick here and there, because I honestly questioned their quality since the products were so low in price. OK, this is me, swallowing my pride and saying I was wrong. I tried a number of Rimmel items since then, this mascara being the best of the lot, even better than Almay and Revlon. I did try another one of Rimmel's mascara, but did not like it. Anyway, THIS Lash Accelerator Mascara does work well. I have short, pin-straight lashes and wanted something for sensitive eyes that would accentuate my lashes. This does that: my lashes look longer, the product isn't clumpy, although I do tend to have to wipe the tip of the brush on a tissue beforehand. The brush is easy to use (trick: I bent the brush about 35 degrees, not so much as to break it, but to get to my inner lashes). The mascara lasts all day and comes off very easily with Ponds cold cream. Bottom line: I haven't used it for a long enough period of time to determine if the lashes will stay long without the mascara as the company claims it does, but meanwhile, I like it. Also: Big plus for me: they do not conduct animal testing. Try this product and I think you will like it.

  • CoverGirl & Olay Simply Ageless Corrector

After trying to like this product, but finding it hard to work with, even after adding some eye cream, I admit defeat. It is cakey and difficult to blend, and as a previous poster said, average at best, if not a bit less than that. I returned it to Target since I had the receipt, and they didn't give me any grief. The other thin that irks me is, I think they do animal testing, which I can't seem to wrap my head around, since Ellen DeGeneres is one of their spokespersons, and she is well known for her love of animals, etc. Sorry, CoverGirl, sorry Ellen. The animals win.

  • L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Lipcolour

    L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Lipcolour

    Natural Nude is my shade

I like this product also. The packaging is upscale (how silly and judgmental of me, I know), the lipstick is very creamy and not too, too glossy, which I like. The shade is true, it doesn't change during the day, and It lasts a long time if you know the trick to applying lipstick---use some foundation on your lips before applying lipstick. There are a multitude of shades to choose from, many will likely flatter most skin tones. Also, appropriate for all ages, I think. So, I guess the bottom line is I really like it!

  • Tresemme Thermal Creations Protective Spray Heat Tamer

I finally agree with everyone else and think this is tops! (It's just that I'm really picky because I have very thin, baby fine hair and what works for most doesn't seem to wok for me---except for this product)). It leaves my hair very, very soft, shiny, with body (!!!), and lessens the drying time if I use it on damp hair. Typically, I will allow my hair to air dry, then use just a bit or the heat tamer spray, and then either just blow dry or blow dry and flat iron. Either way, it works like magic. The only thing that irks me, as a previous poster said, the spray comes out a bit too much, so you can get more than you bargained for :+( This does cause a bit of stickiness, so I think it's a design flaw as well. Everything else is great: price, it's sold in drugstores, groceries, Target, WalMart, and those kind of stores. It leaves your hair soft and shiny and is especially good for thin hair. What else can I say? I'm giving it a 9 only because of the trigger spray thing, and maybe Tresemme will get the memo??? By the way, I've never met a Tresemme product I didn't like, and you can't beat the price! Also, very importantly, they don't test on animals. If theydid, the deal would be off for me!

A MUST for your medicine cabinet

This true classic product has soo many uses, and is soo affordable, there is no excuse NOT to have it in the house :) It can be used to remove eye makeup, smooth itchy, dry skin, scrapes and minor burns and so many others. Plus, it's been around for years and years, so you know you can trust it. Also good for wind- and cold weather-chapped faces. The jar lasts forever, too. And did I mention it has a myriad of uses ???? :)
