This moisturiser is awesome. This relieved my redness, dryness and irritated patches caused by the cold dry weather. Cosmedicine moisturiser is a lightweight gel-creme that is rapidly absorb and maintains moistured and suppleness all day. I highly recommend this moisturiser and love the tube which makes it handy for travelling.

This cream was pretty thick and a little granular. When I warmed the cream in my hands and applied to my face it did not absorb quickly and lighted my skin because of the titanium dioxide (suncreen). This moisturiser felt ok on my skin but as the day wore on, dry areas of my forhead (T-zone) began to flake and felt irritated. I did not like this moisturiser and would not recommend it for dry and sensitive skin.

Easily absorbed and undetectable, Magix does not interfere with pigmentation or peel when another product is applied on top. Containing Optix light diffusing technology, wearing Magix alone achieves the same effect as wearing loose powder and photographs really well. Under makeup, foundation lasts longer, blends easily and shine is kept at bay. Worn either way , skin looks even and smooth thanks to the filling agents in the formula.

Benefit cosmetics You Rebel was surprisingly deeply moisturising and beautifully pigmented. For a tinted moisturiser designed to fit all shades, You Rebel really delivers. When I applied it to my face the moisturiser was absorbed quickly and blended really well, evening out tone and neutralising discolourations. I didn't need any concealer! Coverage lasted all day and did not leave a greasy film as some tinted moisturisers often do. Although I only applied a pea sized amount I feel that this moisturiser can be layered to achieve a medium coverage. As a base for makeup the moisturiser's pigment did not interfere with the colours of my blush, bronzer or shadow.

At $5 a pop, Rimmel's lippie is a steal. Birthday suit is a caramel pink colour that compliments a wide variety of skin tones and is ideal for everyday and dressy looks. This lipstick is sweetly scented and very smooth. Surprisingly for a balm like feel, the lipstick lasts a long time and only requires 1-2 re-applications during a work day. For medium skin tones and Asian skin, Birthday suit picks up the natural pink hues in the lips and appears slightly pinky nude rather than a beigey nude which is very flattering.

TM concealer is a liquid concealer that offers sheer-medium coverage depending on your application. Formula wise, the concealer feels fresh, light and nourishing on the skin , seamlessly blends in and blends easily with other makeup. According to the *feel* test, the concealer is water based which feels comfortable on normal/dry/sensitive skin. I found it great for the under eye area and covering redness. The concealer did not dry or cake underneath the eye are or flake, slide or change colour on other parts of my face. or clog pores. I often find stick and cream concealers clogging and drying. Additionally, the concealer did not make my mascara run or my eye shadow slide.

Honestly, I've never been a huge fan of Maybelline mascaras. Frankly, Great Lash is one Great Disappointment for me. Sure, I love the pink and green packaging but the formula smears, runs and does all the bad things a mascara shouldn't. Maybelline must have heard the numerous cries for an improvement. I believe Lash Stiletto is the answer to Great Lash's woes. Lash Stiletto, conditions like Great Lash but does a great job lengthening, separating and not flaking, smudging, smearing or irritating contact lense wearers like myself. The brush is also really great at coating and separating lashes to elongate them during application. To me, it seems that Lash Stiletto is the budget version of Giorgio Armani's Maestro Mascara - in formula anyway. The two downsides to Lash Stiletto though are the scent - not a fan of scented mascara 'cept for Diorshow and the fact it doesn't really build volume. Bonus, it rocks for a mascara under $10 and delivers like a luxury brand mascara.

Shelter is a lightweight non greasy tinted sunscreen shade perfect for olive and medium toned asian skin. This is the first product that hasn't irritated my skin or dehydrated it during the summer months. I usually skip foundation when I use this and add a drop of liquid luminizer for a barely there makeup look.

On a recent salon visit my stylist used this miracle product in my hair. It gave my hair texture, separated layers and held the messy look pretty much all day without hair spray. Best of all it didn't leave a residue in my hair or feel heavy and gross as styling products can. I use this pretty much everyday to create finger waves, texturize the ends, braid my hair and hold my hairstyle.

Catfight is the best nude lipstick I've ever used and the only lipstick to receive the most compliments when worn. Exceptionally pigmented, long wearing, conditioning and nourishing, non-drying and low-transfer, Catfight is a sophisticated nude mauve that deserves a prime position in every women's lipdrobe. I've gone through entire work days without re-applying but the if I do, only a single re-application is required. In addition, this lippie works best without a liner as the colour really sticks to your pucker without drying it. Even if your lips are dry, Catfight feels comfortable and goes on smoothly. As Catfight is a nude mauve lipstick, like Birthday suit, it picks up on the pink in lips and is very flattering for medium skin tones, and versitile for all occaisions.
